Charging port stopped working after 16 months.

Up to this point I have been satisfied with this phone. Over the last couple weeks my phone has started glitching (it wouldn't even turn on and gave a boot error one morning) and most importantly the charging port on the phone is no longer working properly and has stopped charging unless certain circumstances are met making it nearly impossible to get a full charge or use the phone while it is charging. I have tried troubleshooting in multiple ways. The phone of course is out of warranty, Murphy's Law. It's disappointing because my previous Moto phone that is almost 4 years old technically works and charges fine other than no longer being supported by the phone networks. This phone never worked as well as that one did. When you buy a new phone, it should feel like an upgrade. I never felt like that.

Moto G9 Stylus 2021 review

But ... battery is not so good. Even my older's G7 battery lasts longer than the G9 one. Have a charger always at hand. Second but: why do not ship this G9 with a Turbo charger but with a regular one?

The price is right

It does not have some of the features like wireless charging like some more expensive phones. The camera is decent. The fingerprint reader is temperamental. This phone is definitely an upgrade for me and you can't beat the price.

Good phone for the money.

The camera could be a bit better in low light and the stylus just has very simple fuctions. Otherwise I've been happy with the phone. The finger print on the power button works well. I recommend getting a good protective case for it. I dropped mine with a screen protector and but no case and the whole screen shattered.

You can find your repair options on this link: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/mcp/service/ and they include an extensive walk-in repair network that in many cases can provide same-day service, plus mail-in and some fix-it yourself options. You will find an interactive map that allows you to find a carry-in center convenient to you. We recommend contacting the repair center to ensure they are prepared for your specific issue. - Mike
