I recently ordered this phone online. I needed an unlocked phone. What I wanted was information about how to choose a phone. What I shopped for was unlocked with good audio and long battery life. I was doomed to online ordering so I spent time looking at phones, costs and reviews. I ended up with the Moto G stylus, simply by default. I went to my local store for curbside pick up. Online your given the impression that curbside pick up is easy, you just go to the store and you will be directed. I get to my local Best buy store and there are no signs or directions for curbside pick up until you notice that a string is tied above the parking lot with numbers and a small curbside pickup sign. These signs have numbers for the stalls, small and difficult to see the car. There is no phone number or instructions to facilitate your order. All of this is also after the fact, since I now notice people are going in and out of the store, so I guess that means its open. The website did not make that clear. I did not want to go into the store, so I just parked in a numbered stall to wait. It is a very hot day and there is no shade so I just sit in the car searching for the phone number in my email while I wait. I have a text, but it has nothing but a URL, that sends you to the sales page, which has no curbside pickup number. Eventually a sales person who was waiting on another car comes out, he said he would find my order and come back out. I asked if I could park in the shade and wait, since it was blistering hot and I had my 93 year old mom in the car. After a few minutes the guy came back to the car and gave me the phone box. It was unsealed and open, the unlocked phone I purchased was supposed to be new. A Moto Stylus G I purchased online and was charged for a new phone. This “new,” phone box was open and the phone was not sealed in the package, nor did it have any of the factory wrapping. After I got home and looked closely at the phone, I noticed it had no wrapping and was dirty with hand prints in the unsealed box. I tried to call Best Buy, but it was late and customer service does not exist these days, no matter what they say. I tried to go to the chat head on the website, but all they do is put you on hold saying they will get you customer service when a sales person is available. I need the phone, so I sanitize it, put in my sim card and began to use it. I have been doomed to using a product that I am sure is used and damaged and has a history that I do not know about. This phone has proven to be defective, it does not have any ability to make the volume loud enough to hear, and when you turn the speaker on the microphone cracks and at the other end of the line so the person you call cannot hear you. The phone itself has many quirks and I am more convinced than ever this is a used and defective product. I bought a warranty, but with BB that means little. I will now go through the ordeal of returning this product.
