Customers are saying

Customers admire the Moto G Stylus for its remarkable camera quality, affordable price, and the convenience of the stylus feature. The long battery life and ample storage space are also highly appreciated. While some users have concerns about its durability, the lack of wireless charging, NFC, and a slight learning curve, these drawbacks seem to be outweighed by the phone's overall strengths.

Good overall phone. I would have given 5 stars but the screen is slightly washed out and NO NFC or wireless charging. I can do without the wireless charging but NFC is a big plus to have. . Not sure if I will keep phone or give to my teen. But at the sale price of under 175.00 its a "good" not great bargain

    Decent budget phone.

Decent phone, especially for someone who is actually going to use the stylus for drawing, notes, etc. It is a bit on the heavy side, and the camera is decent but not great. I bought it to replace a damaged SONY Xperia, which I preferred.

The phone is very good for the price. Camera, aesthetics, battery and overall performance is above expectations. The phone has 128 gb storage and can be extended via micro SD making it great phone.

    Had high hopes

I have been using a cheap Motorola e5 play and was very satisfied, just needed something with more space so I ordered this phone. I was looking forward to all the "better specs" that my last phone didn't have. The camera is great. However, the battery life is awful. I have turned off all apps that aren't used and adjusted brightness, blocked apps etc to try to get as much as possible out of one charge. This phone can be at 89% and not be used for 3 hours waking up to 47%....with all apps cleared! Disappointed. Also, the button that turns the phone on/off and turns on the screen isn't very responsive. I have to press it multiple times to get my screen on. I had high hopes for this phone but so far the only positive is the camera...

I have owned this phone for 2 days and I like it except for the fact that it drops calls, poor call quality, Bluetooth continually disconnects from car. Will be going with iPhone again

Beware 4GLTE might not work...No fix insite

Would be a 5 star plus rating if Motorola Lenovo would fix the 4GLTE issue on certain carriers. So beware 4GLTE might not work on VERIZON, SPRINT, TELLO, RED POCKET, ETC ETC. Motorola Lenovo blames the carriers, carriers blame Motorola Lenovo and back and fourth. Briefly a work around fix could be applied with APN settings and then an update comes along and poof no more 4GLTE . Hopefully the brand new just released and bigger 6.8 inch Moto G Stylus (2021) will not have this issue so if you can hold out to see if the 2021 version has 4GLTE please do so.

    Very bad microphone

The mic doesn't work when I'm using speaker in calls. The mic doesn't work on anything, when I'm ona call on messenger the other person can't hear me. And when I record a video the video sound is too low. The mic just doesn't want to work. I do not recommend this phone. Everything else is fine but the mic is annoying. When I do a test in the device help app, the mic actually works, but on every other app it doesn't.

    Junk phone bad support.

Absolute trash I bought 2 of them at the same time. One has a bad head set speaker and both are constantly freezing when switch screen and using the mic to voice to text. Absolute trash. Customer service at Motorola is horrible. All they do is take you defective phone and replace it with another defective phone.

Good phone - Don't purchase if you use wifi callin

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The phone isn't bad for the price, however Motorola has locked the device and doesn't allow the use of Wifi calling even if your carrier does. If you need Wifi calling, look somewhere else. This isn't the phone for you. Hopefully this is something they can fix in the future with an update. If you need a budget phone, get a cheaper Samsung or something that doesn't have these restrictions.

Hi Jonathan, The phone does support WiFi calling for carriers that choose to certify it. (For example, T-Mobile and Sprint.) It is not "locked" by Motorola. Sorry you are not able to get this feature on your carrier. -Jess MotorolaMobility
