Got the Moto G4 instead of the Play. For pretty much the same price, the G4 is safer play (pun intended) with good features, high quality screen, and easy light fit in your hand. Battery life has been very good so far too. Photo quality is good too. Try the actual G4 instead of the G4 play.

My wife uses her phone a lot but for simple apps and this phone does the job perfectly. It's a solid moto phone at a low price. It was actually $40 cheaper than eBay. I'd definitely recommend for anyone with moderate use of multitasking.

Was out looking for a smartphone that would be easy for a older gentlemen to use and understand and this quickly caught my eye. We have att service and right after inserting the sim the phone was active and ready to go! the screen is decent, the display is big enough and the google apps work great. Will recommend to anyone looking for a budget smartphone.

I bought the Moto G 4th at $150 when it was on sale and I found it very user friendly, photos taken out of the phone were brilliant in colors and everything. I decided to get the Moto G4 play for my mom, as she is very old school when it comes to cell phones but turns out she can play with it well and the great things is she loves the phone.

Has good reception in typically low reception areas, ability to connect to WiFi with a quick processor for surfing the web.

The phone is durable and easy to use. It was purchased for a special needs person and he has no problem using it. It seems to have a long-lasting battery to boot.

I bought this phone for my father and he loves it .. Easy to use with great display. Camera works great and can open multiple applications same time with no lag. Screen resolution is not very sharp but sound is good !!

Best budget smart phone for the regular phone user with all the required feature

This phone has very good hardware combined with andriod 6. It is also upgradable to andriod 7. Phone respond fast when performing multitasking. It's a perfect phone for $99.99 Highly recommend this phone.

I have personally been a fan of Motorola since the first generation of the Moto X. Love the stock android feel I have hands a little bit on the smaller size so the 5 inch screen fit perfectly in my hand the screen could've had a little bit better resolution but for the price point I wasn't expecting much but no fingerprint sensor is a dealbreaker I have learned that the fingerprint sensor on a mobile device was once a luxury is now A necessity and with other mid tier phones with duel Sim and fingerprint technology it's a tough sell to me to buy this phone over those but overall it's a really good phone for the price fingerprints are not your thing I would definitely recommend it but if no fingerprint sensor is a deal killer then stay away

This is a simple phone that's lightweight and easy to use. I like that it's unlocked, so can use with just about any wireless provider (even international carriers). As other users have stated, I also like that this phone doesn't have a lot of unnecessary software. Other features include a removable battery and the ability to add an SD card.
