I factory reset it and tried a second time with the same results, it locked up on the updates. I even let it sit there for several hours while I slept and the cell phone was exactly like I left it when I went to bed, stuck on the downloading and installing update screen. I don't know if I bought a bad phone or if it is a common problem, but I just can't use a cell phone that won't update so back to the store it went.

Horrible phone

It would hang up our calls and reboot on it's own. She came to my job and said watch this. She tried to open the phone and it automatically started rebooting. Took it back to Best Buy and the sales associate opened it and it did the same thing to her. Customer service was awesome, which is the norm at Best Buy! However, the phone is horrible!

Sorry to hear about what happened. Do you still have the device with you? If yes, we can do some basic troubleshooting. Try booting to Safe Mode and observe. To boot into Safe mode, press the physical power key, touch and hold Power off, touch OK when Reboot to Safe mode appears. If it works fine while in Safe modes, then it's possible that a 3rd party app is the culprit. Try removing some recently downloaded apps and see if it helps.
