Good phone for the price. Does everything I need it to and the camera works well! Would buy again

I read everything I could about this phone before I bought it, including all the good and bad reviews. I was trying to decide between this, and the G6 Play, and the newest LG Stylo. All my recent phones had been made by LG, but the specs on this phone, the way it looks, and the size won me over. I bought a sturdy case for it, and have not regretted the purchase for an instant. I love the responsiveness, and some of the little extra perks that Motorola provides. I especially like the twisting motion that activates the camera!

Bought this phone the first week it was released. The screen is bright and my apps were loaded in no time. Battery life is excellent and the phone doesn't feel big (or small for that matter). phone is very responsive and haven't seen any performance lags. Great thing about these phones is they don't have much bloatware and Motorola provides software updates pretty regularly. This is the 5th moto-g phone in our family. The original moto-g (4 years back) is still working, it's a bit slow but is in use as a music player. solid phone.

This is my gift to my Mother and she enjoyed playing the apps in a fast type of Cellphone compared to her old one in a minimal price gadget.

I've owned Motorola phones before that were really great phones, so I thought this one would be the same, but doesn't live up to the Motorola brand. This phone has problems with hanging up on you during calls, it keeps dinging in your ear when talking, and if you get a message in messenger it disconnects the call. To many things to mention, could be operator error,but I doubt it.

Awesome unlocked device! Not a lot of bloatware on the phone..excellent Motorola resources included on device. Powerful & yet, affordable!

This phone seems to do everything, especially with the apps available, that the more expensive Samsung and Apple phones do. Battery life and processor speed are very good. My only issue is understanding some tones I receive as to whether they are for text messages, email messages, missed calls or what? It would be nice if the default ring was something that said what it was and if people didn't like it, they could change it. Some swiping directions seem to differ from the Turbo Droid 2 that I switched from.

This isn't the fanciest phone, neither is it the most expensive. But it's still going strong after a year. I bought it to replace an expensive flagship phone that died sooner than it should have. I think Motorola has been pretty good about sending out updates. It's now 11/24/2019, and I currently have the October 1, 2019 security patch to Android version 9. Due to the slippery nature of the phone, it's essential to get a case for it. FWIW, I use "Google Fi" as the carrier.

Upgraded to this Motorola after looking at the ridiculous prices charged for the other brands of phones. Simple functionality for calling, texting, web browsing and taking pictures. Battery life is healthy and can last over four days but drops to +/- two days when using the web browsers (watching videos) etc. The only con is the audio quality thru the earpiece is not that good so sometimes I have to put it on speaker to clearly hear the other party.

Within my price range, easy to use, enough storage, takes great pics. Definitely recommend!

I am a big fan of the Motorola phones. They are at a great price point compared to other phones and do everything that you need. The photos are clear, the battery is very long lasting per charge, the phone speed is great, and the price is right. I got one for myself a couple years ago and I liked it so much that my wife purchased this one for herself of Christmas. So far she is very impressed with it and is very happy with the purchase. The shipping was very quick (only took two days to arrive).

This phone is an excellent value it has a great camera battery is good and the best part is it's unlocked with plenty of memory.

I needed a new phone as I returned my company phone. I didn't want to spend the dollars for a current top shelf product and my research guided me to this one. I discussed my situation with a BB associate and she also recommend this phone. I've been happy with it but it has had a learning curve as I went from a Samsung on ATT to this one on Verizon. It seems to work well but I have not really stressed it. I'll report back with any issuses.

I've only had the Moto G6 a couple of weeks, and am finding in to be a great unlocked phone. I had a Motorola Pue Edition prior to the G6. This phone is basically the same size with a 5.7" screen, but the width is about 3/8" narrower than the Pure. It does inhibit my typing somewhat. It also only has one speaker, but I don't use it for music so that doesn't impact me. Overall, it's very worth the price.

I'm retired and a moderate user of my G6. I have a tablet, laptop, and desktop I use at home, although I find myself the using G6 more and more. Only issue has been the microphone being low volume on phone calls. Disabling the pre-installed Dolby sound app corrected the problem. I don't listen to music on G6, so I didn't try to adjust Dolby. After another month or so, my wife may buy a G6 if I'm still satisfied with mine. We plan on using them about 2 years before upgrading.

Have met my expectation for the price I paid for. Hoping battery life will last long.
