Needed a smart phone to keep up with my fast growing family! Got tired of not getting their pictures in visible quality. Now I enjoy picture and videos that I can see and hear my wonderful grandchildren! I don’t miss anything and never have to leave my house!

Performs well for the specs. Looks nice. I had some some trouble with a number of Bluetooth headphones and Bluetooth speakers where the music would pause, and I'd have to press play again. Happened too often for the listening experience to be enjoyable. Had to return for this reason. Perhaps it was a defective device, or perhaps it is a bug that can be worked out in a future update; although when I contacted Motorola, they were sort of dismissive of the idea that it may be a bug, and sent the the typical troubleshooting steps (as if I hadn't tried that already).

I moved to this phone after using a Nexus 6P for about 4 years and this $200 phone just destroys the 6P. I payed almost $600 for the 6P and this little phone smoked it. It is missing some if the features I really enjoyed from the old phone. Mainly the NFC payments but it's something I can live without.

Bought this phone thinking it would be a nice change . I was surprised on how well the camera worked and how web search was easy. Big problem was the battery is awful and the processors are extremely slow. Stalls and gets stuck constantly

    Terrible screen glass

I've been pleased with the performance and storage on the Moto G6. Photos with the dual cameras are beyond amazing compared to my partner's phone. However, the screen glass is terrible. With ordinary use it's scratched and even cracked after just six months of use. The scratches are so terrible that I can hardly read the screen in bright light- all is see are the scratches. If you buy this phone, invest in a wallet case with top cover as well. Even with that, I suspect the screen will still get scratched. My previous phone by another maker had nary a screen scratch after 3 years, so I'm not inclined to buy Motorola again based on the screen experience.

Hands free for so many things. Twist wrist: camera pops up even with phone locked. Shake back/forth, flashlight comes on. Google assistant gets maps, directions, plays my music, tells me time, answers questions turns phone functions On and Off. I ordered online from BestBuy and picked up the same day.

I got this for my wife to replace her iPhone 6 she prefer she enjoys this one a lot better because the battery life is much stronger and she didn't feel that she needed all the different features that the new 8 or $900 iPhones can do

I got this phone as a less expensive replacement for my Note4...this is hands down faster and easy to navigate thru the apps and features. If you do not want to lay out $1000 or more for a phone... I think you will be surprised how good this phone is at a Third of the price of most top tier phones.

I have had good luck with my Moto G4 play but it only had 16G. I needed more internal memory so I upgraded to this phone. I have not had a chance to play with the camera's features but it was another great selling point for me as well.

Good phone, camera quality could be a bit better, but good enough for price point although the moto g5 plus seems a bit better even though it's an older model. Very snappy and quick, love the close to stock android simplicity of it.

This is probably the best budget phone out there. It looks great with the glass back, although I'd recommend a case to protect it from accidental drops. The camera is pretty good, the speaker sounds decent and I've read it'll get one update to the next version of android. All and all worth the $249.99

I upgraded this from the Moto G4 and I love it. Finger print scanner is awesome. Batter life is almost twice as long, and you can fit a lot more apps on the home screen. And the google widget isn't required any more on the home screen. Not a huge speed increase over the G4 however.

Bought this phone for my father. It has everything he needs for a much lower price than the iPhone or Galaxy. The camera is good. Everything works fine. I don't have any complaints.

I like that I get better signal with this phone than my previous Moto phone and the sound is better. I had a more expensive phone but dropped it in the tub so I got this unlocked phone for a great price and I'm happy with it.

I have used Motorola devices since my first cell phone. I am not disappointed with this upgrade. I buy all my phones outright, and unlocked for the freedom to bring my phone to any carrier. The camera is superior, the security features are easy to use, and the phone has great sound quality.

Perhaps not able to be too objective, because the last phone was dying hard and painfully, and I don't have a lot else to compare it to, but this one seems to do everything I need (nav, browse, phone, ear buds (jack), charge, text, and a few apps) perfectly. Charge life might not be the best around, but it's great by my standards. Feel like I definitely made the right choice. For a change seem to be on a string of successful purchases recently. "Long May She Run." Feels good to escape the grips of some of the monster (gouge) giants of the industry. My first (most basic, entry level Galaxy Pocket S5300) Samsung was great until it became obsolete. My second (S5 mini) fared much worse (hardware issues), though I did hang onto/nurse it for about 3.5 years. And, btw, Best Buy on-line was a great purchase experience, providing immediate local pickup and approx meeting or beating the Amazon price for their rumored to be questionably unlocked "Prime" phones.

Used for personal and work email, as well as general purpose web browsing, calls and text. I am not a "power" user so not too many apps. Battery life for me is about two days unless I listen to Pan...... At work. Based on my experience this seems to be a good mid to upper level device.

Bought this for my son to replace an old iPhone. He loves it. The screen is big and very nice for the price. The G6 doesn’t go up against the S9 or Pixel 2, but this is a fraction of the cost and you are getting more than a fraction of the features. It’s definitely a win for the consumer.

Full feature phone at great price. Did not give it five stars because it sometimes mysteriously turns off ring volume and sometimes when you get an incoming call it does not give an answer option and I have to call back.
