What's not to like...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Actually, not a thing. The phone is an excellent PHONE. Does it play stupid videos? Yup, but outside of testing that capability I would never play a stupid video on a PHONE. Why? Cuz it's a PHONE and I have a 55" UHD-HDR curved screen TV for movies. Why in the name of all that is normal would I choose to watch something on a PHONE over such a nice TV? Answer: I would not. Because I am an ADULT. ;-) But...It can and will play a wide variety of music services including the 14,000+ songs I have a MicroSD card. But...Yeah, everyone has a big but so it's once again time for my big but...I have SiriusXM, Pandora and Amazon Music Unlimited and it handles those with ease. 32 gig of memory and a fast enough processor makes it, well...fast enough! I have a lifetime subscription to SiriusXM on a Pioneer Mp3 SiriusXM portable player I bought from Best Buy years ago, so if I forget to bring it along or I also forgot my iPod or one of my other Digital Audio Players (DAP) I can use my PHONE. But I try not to. Above all that it is a very good PHONE. If it were not, I would not have bought it. Why? Because I needed a new PHONE! Trust me. I know what I'm doin' when I'm reviewin'.

Perfect phone, but needs more battery life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly the size of this phone is a little small when you come from a pixel XL or something more massive, but realistically i haven't really had any issues with this phone. It works like a dream and without the need of having battery saver on all day, i usually get through the day with moderate usage, or really almost half the battery left over. Also a minor note. The Pixel phones annoy me now. Mainly due to the fact almost all the features that are on any of the pixel devices get passed down to stock android devices within the year. So ultimately, Google lens, Googles spam call filter, and other various stock android features the pixels have, ultimately get passed to this phone overtime, and its just slightly annoying that you spend so much money on a device just to have a feature "first" when you can wait a little bit, and still have the same features, if not similar quality experience overtime. I am happy with this purchase. I also have no desire now to go high end any longer. Especially when these kinds of phones exist? It plays fortnite, pubg, honkai 3rd. It runs discord, telegram, youtube with PIP enabled. The "only" weak point to this phone is its camera. That thing is slow, but if you're patient, you can get used to it and get the job done.

Even better than some expensive phones!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After my previous phone gave out, one of the Best Buy staff recommended the Motorola G6 and I am so glad she did! I bought my previous phone in the Spring of 2017 for about $400, and it gave out suddenly in the middle of November 2018. I was in a rush to get a new cell phone, and I couldn't justify spending a lot of money again. That's why I was so surprised at how well the G6 functioned for under $200. The phone is really slim and beautiful, even though it's hard to find a good case in stores. I love how the G6 connects so seamlessly with my Google accounts. It automatically uses Google's contacts, messenger, photos, and even the photo editor.

Great Unlocked Phone for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just as every online reviewer of the Moto G6 has said, this phone is the best bang for your buck. I actually purchased this phone at the Best Buy store but then used a SIM card from Consumer Cellular to use instead of the companies offered at Best Buy. The phone itself is great, with one caveat. It has a glass back so its very slippery without a case. I picked up a case the same day and it was an easy fix. If you don't want to pay crazy amounts of $ for a phone and you like the Android system, this phone is for you. For those of you on iPhones, you may want to stick to apple phones, its not easy switching from from one operating system to another.

Solid Android phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good screen size - tall but not too wide. Comes with screen protective film already installed. No need for a cover. Thin profile - fits in a pocket nicely. Positive feedback when dialing the phone both sound and vibrate. Charges faster than my previous phone. Great price being last year's model. My last phone was another brand cheap phone. I made a big mistake buying the old phone. This Moto G6 is high quality at a reasonable price. You do have to go through several Android updates to bring it up to the latest Android version. This is not necessary to use the phone however. No complaints - great phone.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this for my grandma and she loves it! It’s a great step up from her old Galaxy Mega and she loves the camera. For a cheaper smartphone the Motorola’s are the way to go.

All-around nice phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had my Moto g6 for almost half a year now and have to say I'm very happy with my phone. I've broken down what I like about my phone and what things I wish could be changed/included: What I like: * Fingerprint reader: It works decently, and it's included. I use LastPass as a password manager, so having fingerprint authentication instead of typing in my long passphrase to unlock my passwords is great! * Phone has 3.5mm headphone jack: I never can seem to keep Bluetooth headphones charged and so primarily use wired headphones. I'm glad this phone still has one. * USB-C charging: This is 2018, and it's nice to see the inclusion of USB-C for quick charging, especially since the battery life isn't great. What I wish was better: * Lack of NFC: The international variant of this phone comes with NFC and no compass, the U.S. variant adds the compass but loses NFC. Especially since a fingerprint reader is included, NFC would be handy for using Google Pay. It's not the end of the world, particularly if you have a smartwatch that has NFC. * Poor camera quality: The camera quality isn't the greatest. Pictures always seem fuzzy when you zoom in. I don't need amazing camera quality, though, so it works. * OK-ish battery life: Screen on time of about 2.5 hours when it's at 52%, and that's over the course of a day. Makes it handy that there's USB-C charging for a quick top-off to make it through the rest of the day. If you're constantly away from a charger, however, you may want to look elsewhere.

Great phone at a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my third Motorola phone - my last phone was the G4. I wanted to upgrade to get the fingerprint unlock as well as better battery life. The G6 allows me to have close to 1.5 days without a charge. Like the fact that I can connect to any provider by getting a new SIM. One thing though - Wifi calling is not supported on Verizon - the "Advanced Calling" is turned off and does not even show up. One of the reasons I went with 4 stars. Also does not have NFC - but for $200 that's not too big of a deal.

Budget King
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Moto G6 is overall probably the best of the $200-$250 phones right now...very snappy performance, near stock Android, good call quality, works on ALL networks in the US ..but it does have a few issues to be aware of...... 1.) The glass back serves no purpose, no NFC, no wireless charging not even waterproof. All it does it make the phone slippery...so you'll need to get a case.... 2.) Motorola which used to be legendary for fast monthly security/OS updates and support is a thing of the past...

The necessaries
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this phone so I could talk texting access emails. The phone is an android model and it does everything that one might need for like business and personal work. it doesn't have all the features that a brand new Samsung or Apple phone has but it's definitely enough to function and maintain my calendar, check social media, send and receive text messages, and take pictures. I don't love the camera but it works well enough. The price is very reasonable for an unlocked phone.

Don't drop it. Don't even look at it the wrong way
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had such high hopes for this phone. The camera is decent for the price. And the processor is quick. Easy to use.... Just... Fragile. There aren't a lot of compatible cases that have the durability that I need. I spent a couple days searching for one that I thought would work. Ordered and the next morning, two days before it would arrive, the phone popped out of my pocket when I went to pick something up off the ground.... The back glass is now shattered and falling into pieces in my hand. Luckily, the screen is fine. I just can't believe that. I dropped my iphone a million times and it never did anything to it. And it was nearly 7 years old! I wasn't quick enough with my phone case order... Now I have to pay for a replacement. Even with the protection plan... On another note.... The fingerprint scanner.. It's handy... very touchy. So if don't turn off the setting to work you can unlock AND lock your phone with your fingerprint... you may end up locking your phone accidentally, more than you would like. I wish the volume buttons and the power button were flip flopped. I got to change the volume on my phone all the time but keep locking.

Posted .Hi kb2bb, sorry for the troubles you have gone through. I would suggest sending in the device for repair for further evaluation, just go to this link to get instructions for Online warranty request: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/mcp/service/. However, please note that the majority of physical damages are not covered, and are therefore repaired out of warranty. - Mike
