This phone hits the sweet spot of quality vs. price. It has all the important and essential features you need, and skips the stuff that isn't important from the high-end flagship phones. It works on every US carrier. - Very solid build quality. It doesn't feel super premium the way a Galaxy or iPhone does, but it feels higher end and looks great. - The camera is much iproved from the Moto G4. Practically speaking this is the biggest improvement in the phone. The camera no longer feels low-end. - Performance is good. No lag, everything is responsive. - Screen looks great. - The screen size is narrower than before. This is not an improvement IMO and does take a bit of an adjustment. But after a day or two it's irrelevent. - As in the past, the Moto gestures are super handy. These are simple and immediately useful. - Fingerprint scanner and facial regonition work without a hitch. - USB-C is very nice to have, and fast charging is appreciated. A standard headphone jack is nice to have too. - Motorola contiues to run a clean version of Android with only a couple Moto utilities added on. This is far better than most other manufacturers like Samsung. - The biggest negative is the back of the phone. Yes it looks nice. But it's glass, which is pointless and a liability. And the back has curved edges that are so smooth the phone is easy to slip through your hand. Thankfully both of these things are handled but getting a case for the phone. - I read that people don't like how Motorola doesn't promise more than one updated Android version. If this is important to you, you pretty much have to spend 2 or 3 times what this device costs. This seems a minor complaint IMO. You will get a solid 18-36 months out of this phone before you start to feel ready for something new and improved.

When I got this phone, I was very pleased with it. But about 6 months after I bought this phone, motolora told me update the phone. Do I did, the update damaged this phone so bad that disabled the phone. It dies for no reason. I can't type it. It freezes. Takes forever to turn camera. It doesn't give me notification sounds. And so on. I don't recommend this phone. If you have it, do not update it.

Bought 2 of these phones. In July, right before the phones were 1 year old, they did a "security" update. Since that day, our phones have been crap. They are slow, they crash, we miss phone calls because the phone never rings. SO basically, if you buy this phone, you will be upgrading within a year. Might as well buy a good phone and save yourself the trouble of having to put up with a crappy phone.

Very slim tall 5.7" screen looks small & childish. Colors washed out even in vivid mode. Touch or tap on glass back feels like cheap shiny plastic. No android system updates. Loud speaker.

So I purchased 2 of these phones at the same time. After about a month one of the phones totally stopped working. Just a black screen. Wouldn't turn on, wouldn't charge.... Nothing. Tried to do all of the "over the phone" reboot/reset methods, and nothing! Very disappointed. So far so good with the other phone though. Like I said in the title 1 out of 2.....

The phone is ok for the price however it has trouble when connecting to a headset. The calls drop and the phone freezes. I had to return the phone because no one could hear me.

Bought this Moto G6 phone for me and my grandson both phones went dark in a month you could never see who was calling went back to Best Buy but I could not return it had been over 14 days while I was there found out that someone had been there the day before with the same problem I called Motorola they could not solve issue over phone and I was told that they would email instructions on how to send it back never did so I got frustrated and bought a new phone

It is painfully slow searching and more painfully slower at pulling up the site online and Gmail emails take forever to load and 10 minutes just to open this email! My old windows phone was fast and 1/3 the cost it is a complete disappointment the phone doesn't make word suggestions the keyboard is horrifically small I have tried everything I know to speed up searches,and what I do mostly and it is plain lousy and so tedious that I'm not even going to try anymore

Use to Samsung's phones, this phone rings for everything, drives me nuts, only good thing it rejects all the telemarketers not for the over 50 users

I purchased this in November, while it was on sale for my son for a christmas present. He has had this phone for 3 weeks and now out of nowhere it will not charge AND I'm past the return period. Completely out of almost 300$ for a phone that didn't even last a month. Beyond upset!!!!! I purchased a case, screen protector and this phone has sustained no damage.

I've had this phone for over 6 months and I regret ever purchasing it. The build quality is extremely poor, I've dropped this phone from less than a foot and it's shattered the back of the phone, as well as some scratches and cracks on the screen . The phone is missing features found on more modern (and less expensive) phones such as NFC and HML to name a couple. There are better phones for around the same price, stay away from this one.

Pretty phone, but 2.5 years later, it has stopped recognizing any charger even after the port was cleaned.

Purchased 9/2018 and already it's not working properly. The phone has lost all sound...when making phone call neither party can hear and it also drops calls . I'm not one to use my phone a lot either. I still had a S4 and only purchased this one because the s4 would stay charged long and would get hot. This phone was not worth it so I'm just out of money because I never buy insurance due to how little I use my cell phones.

Expensive for what it does. Would not recommend. There are lots better out there.

I bought this phone for my boyfriend who got his phone stolen. This phone only lasted 4 days before it decided it no longer wanted to turn on. We had a case on it, it was never dropped, and nothing spilled on it. It just would no longer turn on one morning after being charged. Best Buy would not replace it and I am now out over $200 for only 4 days of usage. Buy at your own risk! I will no longer be giving Best Buy my business for cell phones.

Overall, the quality is poor in all aspect...Camera, Sound, display clarity..everything is very average...not worth for the price...

The phone is a good purchase but WiFi calling will not work on AT&T network unless you get the G6 Play at&t branded. That sucks

I wish I'd never bought this. Worse than LG, Samsung, or even Windows phones. Unable to connect to PC to load music or transfer pics to PC. Yes, I saw the so-called solution on Lenovo's site, but this model Moto G6 does not have the "connect as camera" option OR USB as options on the pull-down menu. Garbage! Might as well go back to an iPod, thanks to garbage design from Motorola, built by Lenovo.

I purchased this product to compliment a surface and none of the geek squad were willing to full-fill this sync.

This is my 6th moto g. 2 x 2nd gen, 1 x 3rd gen, 1 x 4th gen and now 2 x moto g 6. Of the 2 most recently purchased, one worked perfectly. The other has been a disaster. Died within 2 weeks. I travel a lot so I could not make it back to return within 14 day window. I will now have to deal directly with Motorola on it. POOR PRODUCT. Will not recommend again
