My first Cphone was a Moto and was fabulous. I qas pleased with the new phone EXCEPT the volume and off/on controls are on the same side and in close proximity. Using it was a nightmare; friends had to block my number until I replaced it a Samsung, my go to brand.

However, this phone has horrible reception. It will hardly ever connect to the internet / network except when at home through WiFi. It is supposed to be a smartphone, but she can only use it for phone calls. This phone even has problems sending texts. I could have bought her a flip phone for a lot less. Don't be fooled by the price; it is not worth it!

I actually liked almost everything about it. Nice size, nice price, nice features. But every time I tried to talk to someone on the phone, the call was dropped after a minute or two. I tried everything to figure out what was happening. Called my provider, and then Motorola. Went to the recommended cell phone repair shop to have it "re-imaged". But still the same problem. Best Buy won't let you return a phone after 14 days. So I gave up and ordered a different Motorola phone from my cell phone provider. And it works great. So the problem with the G7 I got was not the network or the provider. I guess the phone was defective. Oh well... I still like Motorola phones.

Good Budget phone

This happens twice a day, I'm am not happy with this purchase at all. I wish I never spent money on this phone.
