Does everything he needs it to do and more. Would have expected it to cost more actually since it is such a good phone. I was thrilled getting this as already inexpensive phone on sale plus money off from my Best Buy bucks! It is thin, lightweight, and sleek looking. It is a very dark navy color.

Needless to say, this was like putting a rocket in his hand, and he was extremely pleased. Internal memory is 32GB; but this can easily be upgraded to 128GB. The bigger, brighter screen, the newest Snapdragon processor make this an ideal phone for everyday use.

Overall, a great phone for it's price point.

Moto G7 Play plays well

I chose the G7 Play because it's a bit smaller and so fits a bit better into my back pocket. I've had this G7 Play now for about 10 days and it "just works" and this version of Android has made a good first impression too.
