He said that AT&T - as a carrier - would be acceptable/useful/ok. Turns out (I previously had Verizon on a company iPhone) that AT&T is like trying to make a phone call using a brick. I have NO cell service at my house and text messaging literally takes SIX hours to go through. This is incorporating my home Wifi. I am now making the rounds of Verizon and the AT&T stores to trying and change carriers - I at least know that Verizon can sometimes generally work at my house. Seems that the phone is locked into my prepaid one month service agreement for six months - news to me.

You had to wait until it stopped ringing and look at recent calls and return the call. I came back to the store with it but it was purchased August 17 and it stopped working Sept 4 and I returned it to store on Sept 7 because I work out of town. I have sent the phone back to the motorala folks We will see what happens next.
