Customers are saying
Customers love the Moto G7 for its budget-friendly price, improved camera, and long battery life. They appreciate its user-friendly interface and ample storage. While some users wish it had NFC and wireless charging capabilities, the phone's slippery design and average sound quality are minor drawbacks.

Excellent phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is an excellent phone. I was thinking about Samsung s10 but after I tried this one I am not spending an extra $400. G7 has HD phone sound. The camera does everything I need, excellent performance and good battery life, the screen is bigger than S10 and all of that is just for $300!

Works great everywhere but my house.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone has alot of memory and nice features for the price. I have trouble finding a phone that will have good reception at my home. The Sprint map says I have a good signal here but after buying it the Sprint techs say I need a signal booster. For some reason they don't have a signal booster for this phone. Also since it is unlocked it doesn't have WiFi calling. Best Buy says this is not a defect so if I had returned it during the first two weeks I would have had to pay $35.00 restocking fee. I am being forced to buy a used signal booster that is compatable with this phone. I told the salesman my signal problems and I should have been warned about the lack of WiFi calling.(shouldn't all phones have that option!) If I had good signal strength I would love this phone. It also plays the ring and alarm tones when adjusting volumes which is very annoying to my sleeping wife. Warning it is very slick. All glass. Don't leave the store without a case!

So happy with this phone
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 4 of these for me, wife, child, and mom. As far as I'm concerned, these are the best phones out there for this price range. They compete with $800 phones for under $200. I absolutely love this phone. Camera is amazing. Great machine. Highly recommend.

Outstanding budget cell phone
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from my Moto G5 plus to the G7. Slightly bigger screen, well built, solid construction. Still a bit of the sound quality issues exist (slight buzzing, vibration on incoming speaker, too bad). I bought for unlocked, and outstanding value for $230. Worth every penny.

Great Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and additional 64GB storage on SD, I have more than enough space to use this phone as the power user I am. The fingerprint reader is the most convenient feature for me and it works great. I always root & add custom ROMS to my phones, but am holding off on this one until the OS ages enough. Motorola is not known for the fastest ROMS nor long term updates. For this reason, I almost went for a Nokia with Android one. But they were sold out & I am impatient. Still, I am very happy with the G7. Note: a case is a necessity w/this phone. It is very slippery naked (the phone, not me). The camera is its weak point. I was concerned about some bad audio reviews, but it sounds good to me & my callers. All in all it is a great value for a midrange phone.

The camera is pretty good, finally my son and daughter-in-law like my pictures I send. And the price wow. So far my phone is better than theirs, lol

Moto G7 Love It!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this phone for almost a month. I decided to give Motorola a shot. After being a long time Samsung user. It's easy to handle. I like a large screen and this one doesn't disappoint. It has a super fast charger. My phone is 100% charge in about 30 min. It's fast, has alot of space for apps and you can add a SD card if you need more. Great camera. A lot of room to download photo editing apps. Being it's unlocked you get to choose what you want on your phone. Con: this phone is so slippery, don't even take it out of the box before getting a case. You have to order one online, don't use Best buy for this. I did and the wrong case was sent (it was in the right box) so I found a better less expensive one on the river.

Great Phone!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Love My Motorola G7. It has 64 gigabytes of storage, a large display screen, and a good amount of usable apps, that I actually will use. Not overcrowded with every app under the sun, like my Samsung was. Very affordable price, and a quality camera.

Love this phone
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone has been wonderful so far. It's easy to use and I like the aesthetics and layout. It has cool little functions, like when you need to verify a security code over text, it automatically copies it for you so you don't have to leave the web page to go to text screen and back. The turbocharging is fantastic, I can plug it in for just a few minutes to get a full charge that sticks around through a lot of data use. However, trying to activate the phone through Best Buy was a nightmare. I spent several hours there then they eventually sent me to the Verizon store and that took several more hours to correct what Best Buy had done wrong. In the end I had one phone, but it was assigned three different phone numbers, and I was billed for all three. In the future I will definitely be 'activating later' and it let them touch it at the store.

Great phone for the teen
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got this phone for our 16 yr old, when he wanted to upgrade from his iphone 6s. He loves that the battery life is much longer, and that the camera is nicer. He seems to love his new phone, overall, and we haven't had any complaints about it.

Great upgrade from the G6
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I'm a mobile app developer, and I buy plenty of Android phones to test my apps on a actual device (something all developers should do, but don't). Most of my customers have mid-range phones and I tend to but a lot in the $200 - $400 range. This device is the best in that price range in my opinion. In day to day use, it's quick and snappy. The screen gets plenty bright and looks good. And Motorola does a great job with their spin on Android. It's almost stock, with some really useful Motorola features thrown in. And speaking on Android, you get the latest version (Android Pie, 9 as of the time of this review). For $300 (or under when it's on sale), it's a great deal.

Best for the Money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Moto G7 has a lot going for it. Nice streamlined Android9 OS without all the bloatware that comes with some others. Good display, decent audio quality, good overall feel. Runs apps well, and web surfing is good. Camera is only so-so in lower light settings--probably it's weakest issue. Cellphone is OK but I've had some calls drop where my other phones held onto the signal. Very good battery life, so far lasts easily 2-3 days and charges fairly quickly. Like that it has a headphone jack--and it can drive a decent set of cans. After Apple and Samsung, I'm happy with my G7 considering the price.

Great phone
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Moto G7 is an amazing phone, especially for the money. This phone does everything, and is very easy to use. Also has a great camera and facial recognition. Very satisfied with this purchase, and no long term commitment with cellular companies.

Good inexpensive phone with a nice set of features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice size phone with a good camera, reasonable processor speed, full featured operating system and an all-day battery. My only disappointment is that it lacks NFC necessary for mobile pay apps.

Great phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first Motorola phone since the big flip phones when plans were like .50 cents a min, it's also my first unlocked phone, this phone is big and bright, 6.2 inch screen, it's fast, quite a bit of memory 64 gb, still learning my phone, I normally have an apple or Samsung, but this phone shocked me on performance, especially the price of $299. Well worth the price, it also charges pretty quickly. If you want a good quality phone you can't go wrong here, also for the price, don't worry, it's unlocked, so you can put it on any service, it's a nano SIM, usb c charger.

Awesome all around
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 2nd Motorola G series phone and I have been an Android user since the beginning. Motorola has really outdone themselves with the G7. I have not found a feature yet that is missing and the phone is fast with a great screen and battery life.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have used this phone just a week, but am very happy with it. Much faster than my old phone. Got it ATVs great price with Sprint activation. Neutral about Sprint, but would definitely recommend this phone which is half the price of an iPhone

Great phone, particularly for the price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The g7 has performed far better than I expected. It does everything well. There are phones that may take better pics/videos but only slightly better and they cost two to three times more. The same is true for most other features of the phone.
