Customers are saying

Customers love the Moto G7 for its budget-friendly price, improved camera, and long battery life. They appreciate its user-friendly interface and ample storage. While some users wish it had NFC and wireless charging capabilities, the phone's slippery design and average sound quality are minor drawbacks.

Sleek cell phone with a good camera and lots of memory. Responsive and holds charge for 1-2 days. Good screening feature for calls from unknown contacts/scammers.

I've only had for one day so far and I just upgraded from the Moto g5s plus. Very big upgrade for the screen, OS, CpU and Ram. I've very happy with the all glass design. Slippery but manageable. So far this phone is very fast and handles mult tasking with a breeze. Camera is amazing also. Just need a case for the phone so I can keep it looking beautiful as it is.

I've had my G7 for a couple of weeks, and I love it, especially the fact that it's a universal unlocked phone that will work with whichever carrier I choose. It's doesn't offer all the bells and whistled of available flagship phones, but it offers everything that I need, and it's user friendly to boot. If your cell phone usage is light to moderate, one charge should last the entire day--two days in my case. The is the first Motorola phone I had in the past 20 years. My first cell phone was a Motorola, though, and I kept it for 7 years. The only reason I replaced it was because it didn't have the capability of being tracked (911 issue) by the cell phone carrier, Verizon.

I have always kept Motorola in mid when looking and recommending phones. They usually have a pretty solid lineup of phones. My uncle was in dire need of an upgrade, having kept a Samsung S5 for years. My family and I wanted to treat him to a new phone without breaking the bank. As the designated techie in the family I jumped on purchasing this phone when it was on sale. So far I haven't heard any complaints beyond getting used to the software. Great starter phone with great specs to keep you up to date for a couple of years. It doesn't hurt the wallet either.

The bad...get a case put on it. It is slick as can be. The good...stylish, clear sound, big screen, long battery life, fast, takes great pics. Under 300.00 for this (budget) fabulous phone.

I picked this phone up on sale for 99.99 and with Sprints new unlimited Kick Start plan @ 25.00/month this was a for sure deal for my daughter. She loves the phone and it's got a nice display and does everything she needs it to do for a kid. This isn't going to have all the bells and whistles like some of the flagship phones on the market today but this has no monthly payment plan, I didn't have to shell out thousands for a new phone and the price tag per month just makes sense for her. Overall a great phone for the money but the only downfall and I can't dock Stars for that is the lack of cases and screen protectors they are pretty hard to find, so just a heads up.

Bought this, and another Moto G7 to replace an iPhone and Moto G4+. The iPhone quit working, Bluetooth cut in and out, wouldn't connect to Bluetooth speakers, car etc... $1000 worthless piece of apple. Moto G4+ still working, but wanted an upgrade. These phones have motion sensitive actions that are very useful. For example, karate chop with it, and flashlight turns on. Twist it twice, and camera pops up. Does a lot for around $270. At this price, I don't worry if it breaks or gets outdated, I'll just buy another newer version.

This is my first Motorola phone. Bought Moto G7 when I changed from Verizon to Sprint. Wow what a difference! This phone was a bargain at $149.99. Fraction of the cost! Camera is so clear. Very user friendly and jam packed with new emoji and gifs. Easy to handle, very sleek design and appearance. So fast too! Numerous windows open and quickly moves from app to app without hesitation. What is the best feature? The turbo charging!!! Fully charged battery in about an hour as opposed to about 6 hrs for my Samsung. Love this ❤️ phone!

This phone offers a lot without breaking the bank! The build quality feels good in your hand. The battery life has been great so far, and the TurboCharging is amazing. The Moto gestures are very helpful to opening up apps like the camera or flashlight with just a flick of your wrist. The processor is very snappy, and quick. All in all a great quality phone especially for the price.

This is my 2nd Moto phone in a row...previously had the G5. I truly don't understand people that are paying $1000 for a phone. Blows my mind. This phone does everything that I need it to and I don't miss my Samsung Galaxy at all. Yes, the Galaxy had some more fancy features, but were they worth it to me? Absolutely not. Really the only thing I do miss is the Wifi calling. One building I work in has very poor cell coverage for all but 1 of the cell providers. I don't get any reception there and sure wish it had the Wifi calling feature. Other than that, I love this phone and I love the price even more!

So many others have written reviews on this at this point I'll keep this short, but there are concerns that keep me from recommending this phone compared to past versions of it. Overall the G7 is a nice phone. Good, large, 1080p screen. Bright. Easy to hold. Decent camera for the price. Call quality is pretty good, and it still maintains a headphone jack and fingerprint reader on the back (in my opinion the best placement for one). All sounds great, but it is marred a bit by only so-so battery life, and, a glitchy wifi antennae system. Not everyone will experience this, but the Moto forums have a good number of complaints from users who have problems with their G7 (and G7 Power) phones losing wifi connections throughout the day. Mine is one of those. Sometimes it reconnects on it's own, sometimes it will if you turn airplane mode on/off, and sometimes you have to reboot. But it's a problem with a certain percentage of units, and Moto/Lenovo is VERY notorious for not putting out updates and fixes on their phones, so there's no guarantee this will even be addressed. The same goes with the OS - you get Android 9.0 out of the box, but your wait for major OS updates will be very long with the G-series. If you get these on sale, they are a very good value for the price for what you get. Just pay close attention to the wifi connection and other features and if there is ANY problem, return and swap the phone if you can, as again, I would not expect Moto to issue fixes for them.

If you are looking to spend less than $300 on a phone, this is the one. Has a lot of the functionality of the more expensive phones. The camera is good too considering the price point.

Purchased this as a replacement for an iPhone that was starting to perform poorly after an annoying update. This version of the G7 has a gorgeous screen is amazingly responsive and has great call quality. It has a USB-C connector which is the new upcoming standard. This was a surprise but not annoying since all my other devices are going this route as well. Overall, couldn't be happier. The build quality is exceptional and battery life seems unreal. I'm really sold on the Moto's!!
