Customers are saying

Customers love the Moto G7 for its budget-friendly price, improved camera, and long battery life. They appreciate its user-friendly interface and ample storage. While some users wish it had NFC and wireless charging capabilities, the phone's slippery design and average sound quality are minor drawbacks.

I bought this phone for my teenage son whose previous refurbished phone was not holding a charge. This was the most reasonable phone that had the features he wanted. We are both happy with the purchase and there have been no issues to date.

My wife is loving this phone. Performance is great and the price is nice too. Camera works great and love those Moto gestures. I mss the good ole days of custom Moto phones, but I'm thrilled that Lenovo is making phones for every price range.

Great phone for the ones who have a million apps, or wish they could have a million apps! That was me just a short time back. I always had a new app I needed to download but before that was possible I would have to remove one to five of my old apps. This was the most aggravating thing in the world to need an app but first you must remove the app you have grown to love. My new phone? Best investment of the year! I have downloaded every app I had on my two phones, all the ones I have always wanted but couldn't afford the data it took, and a ton of apps I never knew I needed so much, and still I haven't used half of my available data. Wow. Great pics, clear calls, and just in case you aren't sure if this is the phone you're looking for, IT IS. This is the one!!

My wife got a pre-black friday Moto G6 in Nov 18 - a very nice featured budget phone for <$200. I decided I would look at that to replace a GPS buggy LG phone when it was paid up Apr 19; then saw the G7 came out with even more bells & whistles. I was considering a P7 Power but one look at the 720p display was a downer: noticably worse that my 2 year old LG. The main G7 dropped a lot in price this past Monday to compete with Amazon's prime sale so I got it and so far after 5 days of fairly heavy use am satisfied with almost all functions. - Wifi & 4G data operations are very fast. Using on Verizon. - Limited use of both the still and video camera is easy to use, quick shutter speed. - Moto voice announcing calls & texts at home is a nice feature (I didnot enable in cars or when out of the house for obvious reasons) - Audio quality as good and phone reception is noticably bette than my prior LG phone. The only exception is I haven't been able to find any wifi calling feature, mainly used in basement (forums indicate it may be there but I haven't see on settings yet) - I got a decent phone case from Poetic but Otterbox doesn't appear to make one, perhaps thinking why spend $40 to protect a $200 phone?! - It's a large/long phone but within mm's of my former LG phone, the old case almost fit (size, not areas needed for audio jacks etc) - A bummer on this and most new smartphones: no replacable battery. So when it goes pitch the phone ... hopefully it will be usable at least 2 years. So far I get 2 days for a charge. - Bought the phone online from BestBuy, picked up at store an hour later. They setup the SIM card and ensured the phone was working, then I went home to use wifi for app loads from semi-working old phone via google.

We got this phone for my son that broke his old phone. It was in the right price range with enough features to make it fit all of his needs. Enough storage for games, too, which he loves and I could live without. :)

Surprise! Surprise! I have been an LG user for many years but the purchase options for 2019 were few and the reviews were not very good. So I did extensive research to get a new phone. It boiled down to the Google Pixel 3 and this one. Since Google did not make it easy to purchase that phone I decided on this Motorola Moto G7. I'm very happy with my decision. I'm still new at figuring out all that this phone has to offer, but when I do I'll update my review. I like the many auto features like auto correct, auto fill, voice text, etc. The camera is quite good. I enjoy the tutorial hints that come up when setting up for a shot. I am enjoying the quick responses on this phone, along with alert options, etc. I'll be back with an update in a few months.

Excellent phone for the money! Love the features it has. Great camera, takes good picture in daylight, at night, low light, and video in different light conditions. Best of all, it's water resistant. I love the flash light feature - shake it to turn the flash light on and off. Also, love the notification features. You can see all notifications without turning the phone on. Wave your hand over the phone, and it displays date & time, and all notifications. You can customize the notification for apps, and contacts. Contact can be configured with different sounds for calls, and text which would allows to know who is calling or texting you.

For a phone that costs less than $300, you get more than you pay for. There is nothing fancy about it, but it is reliable, easy to set up and use, and does not have lots of bloatware.

It's great to see Motorola back on top of its game, and this phone is a perfect example. My last phone, bought 5 years ago, had an MSRP of $600, so I thought that paying less would leave me missing features. Not so. The ONLY thing this phone is missing that some people (not me) might miss is NFC. Since I didn't use it on my last phone, I felt pretty confident that it wouldn't make a difference to me. I'm very pleased with this model. Plenty of memory, good processing speed, and I love the camera. I bought one for myself in July and just bought another for my husband.

I swapped to this from an iPhone 6s when it it the dust. I honestly like this phone so much. It has most of the same features as a phone five times the price (face recognition, portrait camera, 64gb memory). The graphics are much better than the g6, which is what my boyfriend has. However, it's not waterproof and the camera isn't the best out there, and there isn't wireless charging. These are the only cons I can think of, and they're not deal breakers in my opinion. I like the Google assistant more than Siri, which I would almost never use. I bought this for $130, which is insane! We'll see how long it lasts, but as long as it still works after 2 years, I will gladly buy this series of phones again.

I run a food truck Business, and when my old trusted Galaxy S6 died, I had to get a new one fast! I use mobile hotspot, so when researching which of the current models had good reviews, especially in reliability categories such as hotspot stability, and signal retention, I found this rated pretty highly, and priced right. The staff at Best Buy got me up and running in under an hour, and after a few days with this phone, I've got to say that Samsung should be worried! for a fraction of the price, this is a steal. If I had to ding anything, it would be that whatever they made this phones outer shell out of is slicker than an oil slick on a sheet of ice! GET A CASE!!! You're gonna need it!
