Had it about a week now. Full disclaimer, never have I owned a "flagship" quality phone before. I'd been using a Huawei Mate SE last 18 months or so. It was working fine except for the GPS, but I guess the stigma and fear got to me, so I'm trying this phone. Here is what is GOOD about this phone: -it feels great to hold. I like the tall screen and I can reach all keys for one handed use better than my last phone. -moto gestures, twist for camera and chop for flashlight. Great. -screen is great. Auto brightness is better than the huawei. More on the hole punch later. -sound is excellent. -it performs well. I love the navigation and that it's so "google-y"/near stock Android. I am also loving the Lawnchair launcher. Was using Nova before, but lawnchair wins. -camera is good, about meets expectations for the price. Haven't used it a ton yet. LOVE that I can capture video in landscape mode while holding it vertically. Again, haven't used it much to comment on video quality. -haptic feedback is good. -GPS works properly (finally). -128 gigs of storage for $250! -headphone jack. I like it because my car doesn't have BT. -looking forward to getting Android updates for a couple years. Here is what is OKAY about the phone: -while I like the screen overall, the front camera hole punch could be smaller, but it doesn't bother me a ton. There is a little bleeding around the hole punch and at the bottom of the display. -the buttons are a little loose/wobbly, but I use the included clear tpu case and can't tell with it on. -the fingerprint scanner is fine, but my Huawei's was better- a little faster and a little more accurate. Had I not had that one, I probably wouldn't have considered this one to have any issue. -battery life is okay so far, but, again, I can't help but compare, and I think my previous phone's was better. Here is what is BAD about the phone: Nothing. I really like this phone.

I had recently got this phone about a month ago by making the big switch from Apple to Android. It definitely does not have the same quality of my old iPhone 7, but there are features I do like about this phone. The camera quality is pretty good, and the phone feels nice in the hand(s). I always have my phone on vibrate and the vibrate on this phone is very very nice, because when I have it on a table and I get a notification, the table will not project it ten times louder than it needs to be. I have not used the fingerprint ID, but the Face ID is pretty good, although it sometimes needs a little help, but that is just due to lighting. It's definitely not the best of the best phone, but it gets the job done and so far I am liking it quite better than my iPhone.

Ived owned alot of nice budget phone but not all like this one. This one is special to me. The camera is the best thing i had in many of my past phones. And yea its like having gopro but on your phone. I tbought that was a lie but it did do great on videos like my broken gopro did. The sound is super and the display its a plus. Overall the phone is phenomenal it cant get better than what it is. Thanks bestbuy for selling the phone and thanks motorola for making a beast phone.

This is great phone. Has beautiful cameras, great quality build. The screen is super clearer than my past pixel 3a and nokia 7.2. the sound is loud with Dolby. Love this phone alot.

Absolutely love this phone! Great speed and the battery holds a charge well over 24 hrs for me!

I bought a Motorola G6 last November. Within 6 months the phone would not charge. It was under warranty and I paid around $60 to have a new one sent to me. It has been approximately 6 months since the phone was replaced, and it is not charging again. Motorola informed me it is out of warranty by a couple weeks and I would have to pay $150 to have it replaced. I explained this is a $180 phone, and they explained it was the best they could do for me. After I asked to be escalated to the highest level. The person I spoke to offered me a replacement for $125. Seeing the phone is $180, and it's broke twice in one year (bad battery). They refused to do anything else for me. I explained I would write reviews and share my experience with people I know. The gal did not seem to care. She explained she is at the highest level in Motorola and that sales are important to her. Clearly selling defective phones to people and making them pay to replace them is not something that they are worried about. Have fun dealing with customer service if you buy a Motorola. It's not worth the Hassel in my opinion. I'll be switching to Apple.

Great budget smartphone, and it was better than I thought. Can't beat the price and performance!

The phone is very good, but the battery goes low very quickly. Tried everything, keep battery saver on etc.

Overheated from the day after i bought. Factory replaced and the replacementoverheats. Even after removing apps and etc , it overheats! Called motorola and they make it difficult to exchange. Ill never buy another motorola!

Fair return for the price. It's unlocked 2019 Android with 128 GB for $150-180 and it works ok over all. This phone has some serious problems with its antennas. The original phone I got from the store had terrible bandwidth on both mobile and wifi antenna comparing to my Pixel 2 (!). I called Motorola and they didn't really want to help after the standard reset. After I insisted, Motorola unwillingly replaced it. Now, with the replaced device mobile and wifi bandwidth did improve (not as good as my old Pixel 2) but the hotspot and BT are fluctuating. Such a disappointment from Motorola. I used to love their products, but this is a cheap device.

Every hour It has a new update to install. The antenna on this thing is for crap. Dropped calls and poor reception compared to my "old" samsung J7. In order to get to the second number of a contact you have press on the persons icon as if you were going to edit it. And the amount of pressure on the screen you need to use to access the on screen selections is absurd. I gave it 2 stars because the phone at least works but I will never buy another motorola. I'm going back to Samsung. Whoever gave this phone a 5 star rating must have never owned any other brand.

It's a good product and I'm glad to be a new phone owner
