I love and miss this form factor. I am super glad that I can have the form factor of a flip phone while it being smart. The phone itself does feel slippery and a bit fragile, but when you add the case to it, the phone will seem more sturdy. There are 2 things motorola needs to improve on my end for this phone. One is definitely the battery life. If you don't use it heavy it will last all day. Also the cooling, this phone does warm up a bit which can lead to the battery loosing it's effecincy. All in all it's an awesome daily driver phone that looks amazing, satisfying to close when ending of a phone conversation, and more compact feel in your pocket. I know this phone isn't for everyone, but I would highly recommend this phone over the Samsung flip phone any day.

This is by far my favorite folding phone. I have tried all of them. Having giant screens on the Surface 2 or Samsung Galaxy Fold is nice but the superior pocket ability of this phone is out matched and easily the best part for a daily driver. Also, if you loved the feel of the old razor phone back in the day this nails it. I like this version better than the newer razr+. The shape and feel is just better with this phone. And I really don't need that big screen on the outside. I would pay billions of dollars for iPhone to copy this form factor. I wish I could pay Google a monthly fee to not tack me for advertising. It's nice to have a phone you can put in pocket. They need to work on better water proofing like you can submerge 5ft plus under water like Samsung has done with there foldable phone. A bigger battery would be nice it will get you through the day just don't play a lot a video or movie's. If you are going to do that plug charger in. I bought it because it was on sale for 999.00 and I had another 100 off. I was looking at the Samsung Z flip now they dropped the price. I got this for less i didn't have to pre order. They both have great features the Samsung i would say has a little more. The Motorala Razor is a fun phone I'm happy with the decision they just need to work on there updates and security patches more like Samsung and Apple does monthly.

I had the original flip phone, and it lasted for years before falling apart. At the time it was $600 which was expensive in the age of subsidized phones. I could not wait to get this new one. It was this or the Samsung Z Flip. The Moto won out because of the larger front display, and the overall design. The battery life is acceptable. The main display is responsive and fairly quick. There is no wireless charging which is a big negative with such an expensive phone, The display is oddly shaped at the top, and the chin is huge. It is not a very big display and I found the borders were in the way for one handed use. The front display was disappointing as it did not seem very responsive and scrolling wasn't good. The idea was excellent, but the execution sub par. The fingerprint sensor is at the back disguised as the Moto logo, but I found it oddly placed at the bottom portion of the phone. It was hard to use. I really wanted to like this phone as its design was unique and it definitely had a 'wow' factor. However, its functionality was not great, and especially at the price. Having a great, unique phone is awesome, but in the end, its function that is more important.

So I bought this motorola razr today. I couldn't wait to get it. I've been watching videos about it almost everyday. I was a little upset that I couldn't even touch the phone or hold it in my hand at the store (displayed behind plastic). But I bought it anyways. The box was sealed very nicely. When I opened the beautiful box, the phone was in the clampshell position. I've seen reviews where the unboxing features the phone fully opened. So I was right away wondering if it was truly brand new. Also something's that lead me to believe that the phone was previously used/returned: the front razr screen protector was placed on very sloppy, did not look like it came from the factory. Also I have seen videos where the charging cable is braided, but mine was a regular one, and short. Also I thought there was supposed to be headphones? No headphones in my box?? So with all these things,,,,I was kind of disappointed (since I paid more than $1500 with insurance). But on to the phone. I love it. Love the folding nostalgia feeling. Takes getting used to, especially because I am being extra careful. The hinge works great. I don't hear any noises when opening and closing. Cons- screen quality is not the best. Especially compared to other phones that are much cheaper. Looks great in my small hands. And fits perfect in my cupholder!

When open you have a full size smartphone that sits in my hand just right for one handed operation. And I really like the ability to fold the phone and put it in my pocket when it's not in use. When it is folded, it's nice and compact, with a screen on the outside that lets you read and send messages, answer and make calls, and use an abbreviated contacts list. Really the only two faults i can say are: 1. no wireless charging. 2. no slot for expandable data storage. & And at no fault of the phone, nobody carries a case for it. It has to be ordered on line.

Loved this phone for a few days except that it did not completely work with Xfinity mobile (Can't receive text messages, weird!). The small screen worked great for texting and watching videos. Camera resolution could be better for its price tag.

I couldn't wait till Best Buy had the 2nd edition of the RAZR especially in the color I wanted. I really enjoy the phone especially the fact that it is like a 2 in 1. You can do a lot on the outer screen or while it's closed when you set apps to be able to work from there; you can check email, text, even browse. Though some may not be compatible with the smaller screen but lots are. Pictures are great, phone is fast. I received the Android update from 10 to 11 and it works great, no problems at least yet. There are a lot of functions I am still working through but all in all it is a solid phone. If you enjoy Android especially Motorola OS, you will enjoy this phone, plus when you take it out and use it while in public you get the ohhs and ahhs of it all. Also, it is not a light phone it has some weight to it but not too bad. One more thing, I would recommend and case with a holster and outer screen protector. You DO NOT need or should use a screen protector for the inside screen; it is not necessary or recommended by Motorola. But give the phone a try and I think you will enjoy it.

I really wanted to like this phone because I absolutely loved the original razr. The battery life isn’t great, the camera isn’t very good, the sound quality over Bluetooth isn’t as good as my iPhone when listening to music. The screen is pretty good in doors but not very good outside. Everything is just acceptable on this phone, nothing is great and nothing really stands out. My iPhone is better in every way and I just can’t justify the downgrade just because it has the Razr name and flips.

The Good: Size is absolutely fantastic. Fits in the change pocket in my jeans. The device itself is well-designed, the folding screen is novel, and the external screen is really great. Battery life is decent - I get about a full day with average use. USB PD charging is good, too - no proprietary fast charging (I'm looking at you, OnePlus). Camera is acceptable - Won't be winning any awards, but isn't as terrible as the previous generation Moto razr's was. 5G (on T-Mobile) is good, on-par with my OnePlus 8Pro. The Not so Good: Does get a bit warm under heavy CPU usage, and managing external screen permissions for certain apps (ie, Android Auto) is a bit odd. WiFi reception is... not great (it's functional, but effective distance to AP is much shorter than I've experienced with any phone in years). On the physical side, I personally would also like some small tabs to make opening easier without triggering power and volume buttons. Verdict: Overall, its a good phone, and I love how weird and retro it is. I'd recommend it if you're looking for something a bit different, and can handle a quirky device. It certainly turns heads.

Love the design, build quality is solid, permanece is above average. Really needs to come down in price and should be smaller when closed, m iPhone mini does a better job at disappearing in my pocket than this does.

If it's being sold at the original price it is not worth it, but the huge discount is enough to consider me adopting to foldables. It is just more compact. The Android software in this phone is almost pure without the bloatware. The phone is fast, the camera ok and the build is ok. The glass though needs to be protected with a case. Yes, it is a head turner to. Plus the retro mode brings back fond memories of the early 2000s. The battery life is just alright. I am not a heavy user. Plus the outer screen is functional but very minimalist, just what I need so I don't need to flip my phone frequently.

I have had two Samsung flip phones and I decided to purchase this one for the retro nostalgic feel. The battery was not as bad as everybody was making it out to be at least for me I am not a power user. Everything else was good the screen will end up having three large lumps in it it’s hard to get used to that the other thing that I did notice that it was hard to get used to his opening it it was extremely hard for an older person to flip it open it is so shiny and smooth that it easily flies out of your hand. I would wait till the next generation a flip phones to come out

My first phone was a motorola flip phone. Had to have it. I've come full circle with the only mobile number I have ever had. This is pretty cool. I bought a case and belt clip since it folds up. Been years since I used a clip. Some say it is heavy, I say it feels solid. Battery is ok for me. I don't use my phone for games. Just internet when I'm not home. Screen works like any other phone. A little dip in the folding area but you don't see it. It's so cool to fold it up and hear the pop when it snaps together as your sliding it in the clip. Joe Cool

I love this phone more than I thought I ever would. It took me a few weeks to really learn the ins and out of this phone but I have really fallen in love with it. The little outside screen is the best thing to ever come to this phone. I can do almost anything I need like checking messages or even watching a video without having to open the phone. Everyone that's sees me open it that isn't intrigued. It's super fast and super little. Easily slips into a pocket however I use it with a belt clip. It's got a small battery in comparison to some phones but it charges very quickly. I pop it on the charger when I jump in the car or if I get home and even for a few minutes it puts it right back up to the top. I would recommend this phone to anyone just give it a little time to get used to flipping it. I was not paid for this review by the way. I am also a huge Motorola fan and have been since the original Droid came out. I love Motorola. I've owned the Google pixels, the LG's, never a Samsung but I always come back to my Motorola's.

I personally love this phone. I had a razr back in the day so this nostalgia feeling is awesome! But if your not a fan of the original i wouldn't recommend getting this phone because by today's standards this phone is not up to par with other phones on the market. It's slower in every aspect and the camera while it does take nice pictures does not compare to current phone cameras. That being said, this phone is a lot of fun and I personally will buy every years new model

Very little complaints, but phone is very slippery and had to buy from Motorola the specific case for phone ( Motorola 2020 Razr) to protect and give it "Grabbing" power. Installed the protection case and now have full confidence that phone will not slip out of hand. The only gripe is that the protection case is $99.00, but still fits in the breast pocket of a shirt. Still experimenting with the phone but love it's large front screen in comparison to it's competitor.
