Customers are saying

Customers highly value the Moto X (4th Generation) for its excellent camera, affordable price, and long battery life. Many users appreciate that it is unlocked, waterproof, and easy to use. However, some customers have concerns about its limited internal storage, durability issues after extended use, and speaker volume.

It works really good and the battery last long enough. Applications are running fine and no issues with the sd card

The Moto x4 is a great phone for people who do not need a lot of storage. Android takes up around 14 of the 32 gbs of storage, and you can't upgrade the memory for apps. I returned this and went with the g5 plus, 64gb model and am very happy with my decision.

Hi Mondo101, I checked the website and X4 has an SD card slot that can support up to 2 TB. Though thanks for your feedback, I'm glad that you like the G5 Plus. -Rich MotorolaMobility

I love the look and feel of this phone. I was so hoping it would be my phone for years. However, the phone would not work on "speaker". You could not use that feature. Making calls to my daughter's google pixel was horrible. Those two phones did not communicate well at all. Then the whole antenna issue was another ordeal.. all of my phones were on ATT service and no one had issues with reception except for me. So I finally gave up and got an iphone. I did not have any issues on ATT service once I got the iphone. So I can only report disappointment for the Moto X4. :(

I bought this phone because I needed something reliable and cheap. It's a reliable phone that can take a beating. I have dropped it multiple times and it still works. One thing I don't like about it is that the ram isn't that good. You can't do multiple things with the phone at the same time, such as use a voice recording app and take photos. I also sometimes have issues with group chats, but I think that might be a software issue.

Phone has cool features but expandable storage can only store photos and music. I got the 32g and 16g of that is used just for the OS, other storage was taken by pre installed apps and updates, leaving phone unable to load any new apps.

Had this phone bout three days, and felt that it was too plain in comparison to the blue one. Switched it out and have never looked back. Phone itself has some nice features, but not Loud speaker, so need to use it with Bluetooth mostly. Alarms are very subdued & not good for waking you up.

I'm pretty happy with my X4. Feels solid in the hand, and rarely bogs down performance-wise. Definitely a solid step up from the two Moto G's I had prior to this one. The moto actions are quite handy and the X4 does support voice, which reads your texts aloud while driving.

This phone is so perfect you would barely even know you owned it. Really. If I lpurchased this I don't know it, and it has not shown up in my life. So why do they say I have purchased one? Your guess is as good as mine. Not knowing this phone personally I would definately recommend it to a friend so my friend could tell me how they like it. Perhaps then I would consider buying it.
