    This had a defective microphone in it. This turns out to be a common problem with motorolas of that type. Motorola ignored the problem and left people hanging causing them lots of grief and time. I will never buy another moto cellphone. There is a you tube video of someone soldering in a new microphone and fixing this problem. This is what motorola should have done instead of pretending that the problem would go away.

    I was assured the phone would work with my US Cellular plan. However the IMEI does not match and the phone will not work with my plan. I did return the phone to BestBuy and they refunded my purchase when they personally checked into whether the phones IMEI would work. I like their integrity, just wish the phone would have worked.

    Barely a month after purchase, the headphone jack doesn't work. The phone was used carefully, never dropped, and the headphone plug always gently inserted. Best Buy's fifteen day period for a return have passed. A very lousy deal.

    Nice for the Price

    I got this when the price dropped from $349 to $149. I wasn't even really looking for a new phone, but the deal was too good to pass up. Love the quick OS upgrades and security updates. Being an Android One phone, it upgraded from Nougat to Oreo right away, and then to Pie the next day. With the glass front and back, this phone is more prone to cracking if it's dropped. Only a good bulky case will protect it. All in all, a really nice phone at a great price point.

    I received this Moto X4 for Christmas. Not thrilled with the phone. Has a tendency to freeze when opening some apps. Same with camera. Seems to be some lag time. I still have the G6. I prefer it to this phone. Wish I had waited for the G7.

    If you use Android Auto, avoid this phone!

    This phone has a well documented issue with Android Auto, just Google it or check the Lenovo and AA forums, so if you need to hat app as I do, buy something else. Otherwise it's a decent phone. It currently runs on Android Pie, which is buggy, but you can get used to it, but the AA issue is a killer for me. Repeated crashes and disconnects
