Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the Moto X (4th Generation)'s reasonable price, impressive camera features, and long battery life as positive aspects. While some users find the phone to be slippery and fragile, the lack of wireless charging is also seen as a drawback.

Started off great, then became a brick

I purchased this unlocked phone for my daughter, to replace an old Samsung with a cracked screen. We were out of contract with Sprint, and instead of adding another phone with a payment to our bill, this phone looked great for her. It was a great phone, for about 30 days. Great camera. Then the battery ran out, and would not charge. The phone was dead, and not charging up. Since it was beyond the 14 days for Best Buy returns, I contacted Motorola, and began the return for repair/replacement. The Motorola repair rep told me the replacement would be sent out 3-5 days from the date they receive the phone. They sent the RMA and FedEx label. I sent the phone to them, they received it the next day. There is a tracking system online, that is useless. No updates after 3 days. I call. They now say the replacement will be sent in 4-6 days. I keep checking the online tracking system. No updates. After 1 week I initiate a chat with Motorola. They ask to call me, and then tell me that the model of phone is out of stock, and they should be receiving more later this week. I asked for any other options, like an upgrade. Nothing. I have to wait. In the meantime, my daughter is using her old Samsung with the cracked screen, as it still works perfectly fine while on WiFi, just not activated for cell service. Currently thinking about just getting her a new Samsung and get it activated, and just donating the replacement Motorola – whenever it arrives.

It works fine, but the SD card can not be format as the internal memory. Sad.

      Hi Td91,

We appreciate your feedback. The Moto X4 doesn't have options to set the SD card as your internal storage. We'll go ahead and relay this to our team.

If you want a phone u can actually use then dont get this one. It gets terrible signal and the Wi-Fi doesnt work! This is my 2nd motorola in the past month and they both dont work good. I'm paying the money to get my screen fixed on my samsung and im switching back. My samsung galaxy 8 is an awesome phone. I appreciate it so much more now.
