I like the phone just fine. It is easy to use and has a great camera. BUT it will not stay connected to anything! The Bluetooth just won't work from the factory.

This would be an excellent mid-range phone if it weren't for the horrible standby battery drain. Perfect form-factor, beautiful screen, and OK cameras considering the price. After 3 factory resets running the current Oreo 8.1.0 factory software I think this will be my last Motorola phone purchase. Heck, my 3 year old Motorola X Pure Edition still has better battery life than my X4. If you are thinking about purchasing this phone I strongly urge you to consider other options unless you're always near a wall outlet.

Pretty sweet value here on the features you get for the money. Water proof, sd card, aptX, all US carriers, and most importantly: continual software updates due to Android 1. It's not the most blazing fast phone around, but it's certainly capable.

It's certainly not as fast as the latest and greatest out there, but it's cheap and does everything that I need it to do. I had an original google pixel before this and feel that this is maybe a hair below that.

I am a novice using this phone . It needs a better instruction booklet for the programs. But, the more I use it, the easier it becomes to operate!?

Functionally works well for an Android. No problems with this phone so far except as usual Motorola doesn't let you play anything except MP3 files so you need a music app such as VLC to listen to music.

This phone replaced a Samsung G 7 from the same carrier. I was surprised how different the interface was. I am still struggling with getting the phone to do what I want. I guess the Moto x 4 is a less popular phone since I cannot find instructions for its operations on the internet. The manual that came with the phone was not very helpful and I am still trying to navigate it.

The phone is ok and the updates , security and operating system are excellent , but except for being a little faster , the moto x4 seems to be a step down from my moto x pure . The resolution is less , and the camera is not as good as well as the screen is actually smaller . It also uses a different charger , usb c . For the price it is a good midrange phone and I still have the moto x pure as a backup , so for now it’s a keeper !

For what it costs, this is the best phone on the market. While it is not a flagship phone; I have never used a better, faster phone due to near stock Android, and quality specks.

Purchased for my father in law as his Moto G3 was having lots of issues due to age. He wasn't something a step up from the G series and we have had great experiences with Moto phones so we went with this, and are very happy.

Needed to replace my two year old Moto Z, so I went with this unlocked version. So, far has good speed, battery is great. Now if Motorola could get their phones to last longer than two years before they cascade into failure, I'd be ecstatic.

I bought 2 of these for family members who needed a new phone, they both love it. They report that it takes great photos and is fast, they love playing games on it.

This thing functions and works the way it is supposed to and operates with the latest software available for Android. I am pleased with the features and ease of use.

Have used several models of Motorola phones previously. The clean pure Android system is very appreciated and the phones have always worked well over the 2 year time period in which I keep them. Expect this one to be no different.

I bought this phone as a gift for my sister. She has not activated it yet. However, I believe it was a good acquisition for its brand name and features.

this is a really good phone for the price it don't freeze up the screen size is nice the video on there are really good the sound is clear im very happy

This phone does everything a 50+ person would want. I have had it for over a year now and it is still working perfectly . I had always had Samsung phones and this was easy to transition to.

I got this for a business phone and I am so impressed! This is the perfect phone for those not looking to spend a ton to get great quality and speed. It upgraded to Android 9 with no issues. God bless AndroidOne.

There are some settings that moto left out but overall it is so much faster after about 20 updates LOL

I decided to purchase this phone to not get tied down with a lease and it was the best decision I made for a phone. It works great. No complaints.
