My family all has iPhones. I really didn't want the new one as it was too small and the 6+ is way over priced For an old model phone.so after checking out several phones online and in person I got this..very pleased.

This a great value for those who want near-stock Android with no bloatware or carrier control. I'm very happy with the software updates, screen quality and size, battery life, and Moto features such as Moto Display.

For me this is the perfect phone. I'm a big guy with fat paws so the balance of screen size and device size is perfect. Big enough to type on bu not too big to not fit in your pocket. It's very powerful while having good battery life. And the screen resolution is amazing!

I've had no problems with this phone. It is a bit bigger than others which is both nice for viewing photos, etc yet big for trying to fit into a woman's pants pocket. Our pockets aren't made as deep as men's so I've had some difficulty carrying it. The phone is great though.

I was looking for an android with minimal bloatware and this was pretty bare bones. Good features and specs especially for the price. No complaints.

Pound for pound, this phone is great value. I went from an iPhone 5 to this phone. I bought this phone on sale unlocked. It does everything I have wanted it to do; plenty fast, and has flawlessly run every app/game I've installed. It is a big step up from my old iPhone 5, but this phone is no where close to the quality of an iPhone 6s Plus. Then again, this phone was only a quarter of the cost. The big downside for this phone is its fragility. I accidentally dropped this phone from my pocket onto concrete. The short fall shattered the screen rendering the phone unusable. Luckily, replacing the screen was an easy $70 repair. All-in-all I am pleased with this phone. It is not a showpiece by any stretch, but it is great value for money.

Great simple phone to use the camera is great the only thing is there's no hard button for the home screen you must press the top of the screen and then find the home button but I got used to it pretty quickly

Phone is easy to use. Can hear well. Use it all the time to search the internet. Replaced my Nexus 6" tablet and windows phone. Cut down the sim and popped it in and was up and running. Had to turn of all the Moto stuff to get decent battery life.

This phone is big, beautiful, and the sound is terrific. PROS: *Screen is vivid and sharp but not too saturated which is a nice balance. *Speakers are loud enough and clear. Media sounds great. Front-facing speakers are a MUST for a phone. *Camera is an upgrade from past Motorola phones. Takes fantastic images in good lighting. Certainly a step up from my Nexus 5. *Battery last me all day and then some. (I am not a "power" user.) *Motorola’s fast charging is extremely fast. I’d say it is scary fast. *Connects to my LG G Watch and actually syncs with it BETTER than my old Nexus 5 did. *Moto’s custom software (Moto Voice, Display, etc.) work great. They are actually useful. *Near stock Android. Probably will be one of the first devices to upgrade to Marshmallow. *SD Card support! This is a MUST HAVE. I have downloaded several playlists from Google Play Music and stored them on the SD card. Awesome! Streaming is an option of course, but playing locally via the SD card is an absolute perfect user experience. The SD card storage will be integrated with the on-board storage when Marshmallow is released to make it seamless so use a class 10 or better card. *Motorola’s legendary mobile radio tech. Puts other radios (Samsung) to shame. I get signal where I normally wouldn’t. *Android has obviously been optimized by Motorola. Example: My old Nexus 5 would hammer my mobile radio when it had poor signal. Why Google, why? This would cause severe battery drain. I would loose 5% on my Nexus 5 just driving to work. The Motorola doesn’t hammer the mobile radio. Still at 100% when I get to work. Perfect! CONS: *No wireless charging. I really miss this feature. *Worried about heat generated from fast charging. Heat + Electronics = Hardware Failures (over time) *Not many cases available for it at the moment. *16 GB version only has a few GB’s left for apps. Marshmallow will take care of this when it is upgraded. (See PRO comment above on SD Card) A word about Verizon activation: If you have an existing (already active) nano-sim from Verizon, just pop it in and fire up the phone. It will work. Go on about your merry way. If you are a NEW Verizon customer, take your Moto x Pure phone into a store. Have them activate a nano-sim on another phone for you (display model) then pop it into your Moto X Pure. Verizon will eventually support this model however it will take several months (knowing Verizon). Just do what I recommended above and be happy with your new phone.

Upgraded to Motorola x pure. And i can't say anything negative about performance of this devise. Quick advice, if locking sertain apps using pattern lock, be careful not to lock yourself out after a few tries.

Needed to get a new phone cheap and this was perfect. Similar specs to the LG G4 and I picked up up on sale for $270. The only bad thing is the OS takes up a good chunk of the 16GB so having some sort of SD card is almost a must.

Fantastic non-nexus phone with an almost stock experience. The only things added, enhance the experience. I recommend it to anyone who needs a great Android phone, and doesn't mind a larger phone.

Best buy connected it to my provider real quick. No problems with the phone or best buy employee. Only down side to the phone is that it lacks a large choice selection for cases.

I have always used a cheap smart phone. I thought it was about time to upgrade without spending 6,7 or $800. This is a great compromise and was a snap to hook up to Tracfone.
