    WOW but...

I love the screen! Love the size for my eyes too. quick and responsive, nice photos, (hard to get used to at first), took a while to get on the phone (t-mobile 3 days not 3 hours!), love there is not a lot of extra apps.... BUT here's the down... the contacts doesn't "group" it's only favorite and all hundreds listed so you have to remember everyone's names numbers and or emails. Needless to say without this you can't "invite" via a group in calendar either which is just google stock calendar. Love some of the newer features in the android op system, voice wake up and commands which you can customize. A wave over the phone to light up the screen, (you still have to sign in if you've set the pass-code to pay at retailers must be done. It comes with basic apps which is good but not good as those features to group and group invite are a deal breaker for me. Google used to have it but apparently only samsung does now. So I'll be returning for the samsung... likely note 3 as with many reviews the newer op systems have let go of some great features to include some that only those that use their phones for socializing and movie watching so on... would want to replace the other "work" features they left out. I really wish when the specs were written they would have links to "want it can do" what is new and what it no longer does. I and many others use these as pda's more than for anything else so it was a real turn off. It does take a nice photo, but also gets hot downloading updates, new apps, and other times, like when it's searching for 4g lte. If you don't need it for "work" and don't have a lot of contacts you have to "group" then you'll love the bright screen for reading, watching movies (I've only watched home made) so I can't say if it lags on reg. but played mine fine with no lags. If uploading to share sites it does lag a bit compared to my old samsung s4 mini duos, but that is getting loaded with apps and files so I do need a larger memory also. I wish I could get my old phone in a larger size, it's been a good one for ppl like me who have issues with sight, and forgetting apts, taking notes, sending invites to events as a whole group with only a few clicks, which this one def. lacks.... Really LOVE it for reading! ps sound quality is nice too but when I tried to listen to music saved to the cloud it wouldn't load it, and it also won't load pdf's downloaded via emails, you have to download and then open them from the file location. Too many steps again, oh... ps google said you can create a "group" on line to share events with, but then you have to set up a "group" on line, and share files to it, then have everyone you contact join google to be able to use them. I HATE that part of all this. Programs and ability need to be added to the specs so we know what we are getting before we buy. I looked at all the specs on 3 other phones then went to best buy and they didn't have the one I wanted. Looked at the back up 2 and they wouldn't connect to the internet there so I figured this one had better reception. I won't be testing the other 2 either, as without the samsung stock contacts and calendar they are useless also. I did look for others to replace them for 3 day straight. Nothing out there to "group" and connect to the calendar. Good luck if you're in or use it for business.

    Good phone, poor battery life

I had this phone for a few days, purchased from Motorola but sent it back due to what I think is poor battery life and it was constantly overheating when searching for bluetooth and any other task similar. Don't get me wrong, the phone itself is great but I don't see it holding it's value for resale (I only keep my phones one year) but if you're looking for a phone that works on any network and plan on keeping it awhile then this is the one for you. The charger was too clunky for me and didn't have USB capabilities-just a wall charger. Positives were being able to insert an SD card and the Android operating system. I can't say I disliked the phone, just didn't see myself loving it.

This phone is one of the best on the market. It has the best features at the greatest price. The camera is great. The software is pure android and silky smooth. Hardware is great, hexa core with 3gb ram. 2k display. You can't get any better than that. This phone is so fast and battery life lasts the whole day with pretty hard core use. I'm am extremely happy with my purchase.

Works perfectly with Verizon. Turning on advanced calling was tricky, but works none the less. Screen looks good and all functions are pretty snappy. Camera is a nice upgrade over the turbo but still not a Galaxy quality camera.

Just picked this up to activate on Cricket Unlimited Plan. I'm impressed already with the speed of this unit, especially for what I paid. Add the 128 GB Sandisk or Samsung memory card, and your good to go. Now compared to an S7, which is double to price, there CAN be a few faults found, but at just about HALF the price of an S7, the math does itself!!!!!!

Had my Moto X Pure for a month and I have enjoyed using the device so far, High quality build with the black rubberized backing and the metal band surrounding the frame, Call quality is really clear, Not as fast as my G Flex 2 but a very solid device. I did install Nova launcher and it performs a lot smoother than the stock launcher, The device is advertised as having Lollipop but it actually updated to Marshmillow upon startup. I must mention the Moto X Pure does not come with double tap to wake and does not have an Led notification lite. other than that its a very good deal. If you can get one brand new for less than $300 bucks. Its a go.

    Pure Andriod is a Plus!

I got this phone after breaking mine the first day of vacation. It was the only unlocked phone that was compatible with Verizon for the price and I like the near unbreakable screen and water resistance is always a plus. The pure android on this phone is awesome to not have any 'bloatware' taking up space and memory on the phone. The camera is really decent and was easy to use on vacation taking lots of photos. Battery is pretty good and lasts almost the whole day if I don't stream Spotify.

Definitely a great phone fast, great performance and really snappy screen resolution at is best also the speakers!! Great for music when you are out in a BBQ or whatever you doing camera it's ok don't hope for the best but definitely not a bad camera also and batter I would give it a 4 out of 5 seems to me that sometimes it just run out of battery for no reason I'm guessing is a software problem but will definitely be fixed with an update

I got this moto x from bestbuy when it was on sale for $239.99. At a time there is no phone can beat that price. Here are some pros and cons so far: Pros: 1-great display quality 2-good battery life 3-great UI performance 4-very fast charging 5-strong metal design Cons: 1-great camera got destroyed by a terrible autofocus and lack of OIS (optical image stabilization) 2-choppy phone call quality though it has 4 mics! 3-lacks support for camera2 api 4-my first moto x unit had faulty display but got it exchanged for another unit. 5-too heavy smartphone 6-youtube 2k resolution video doesn't work. picture stops but audio continue playing. I would only recommend this phone if its price was $240 or less.

    Great LCD phone!

Lots of things to love about this phone! I have the original moto x and simply Love the simplicity of the Motorola phones. Running almost stock Android makes it a great experience! Love activating my phone without having to touch it! Wave your hand over the screen to wake it up and see what time it is. So convenient. Great stereo speakers on the face, quick charging and a beautiful screen. The one thing that did bother me was that it does not have an amoled screen like its predecessors. Don't know why Motorola went away from it but going from the pop of colors in an amoled display to an LCD display was kind of disappointing to me. There was also some screen bleeding of backlighting from the sides. I'm a picky about these things but if this doesn't bother you, the phone should work out perfectly! Also, I read that not all phones have this issue so maybe I have a faulty phone. Check yours to make sure... For the price, this is a great phone and most should be very happy with it!

This is by far the best phone I have ever used. Far more responsive than my old LG G3 and HTC one. Camera is very fast and smooth. And buying it outright is far better than paying much more for a phone over time!

I bought this phone on sale. It is worth the price. The main advantage with this phone is, it has got the microSD card slot. The display and the sound quality are great. The battery charge lasts longer.

I needed an unlocked phone to replace a broken OnePlus One phone. I looked at the Huawei Honor 5, the Moto G4, and the Moto X Pure. Ultimately, I selected the Moto X Pure for its balanced set of features and power, as well as it's stock Android experience.
