    A little tablet

I had a 4.5 phone, kind of small. Looking to upgrade without breaking the bank. Saw the 100-200 dollars ones. Not bad, nothing to write home about. Than saw the Moto X Pure, 1st test brightness and screen. Its very impressive. At home there is no need to set it past half bright. This phone can challenge most tablets for a bright and vivid screen. Its why I got it really, ideal for multimedia. I see it as good as any phone 200-250 dollars more. The speakers are loud, you can go for a walk and just turn it up and no need for headphones. Its a pleasure to own this, I consider it a tiny tablet.

    Good looking and average performer

The phone design looks good and also the specs it come with. Phone gets heated if you use for 10 mins of camera. Not a great camera though it sporting 21 mp, dim light pics below average. Battery backup is ok. Browsing experience is good and the speakers too.

    Great phone, bad battery

I bought this phone because I got bored with my iPhone. This phone is fantastic and it's very close to a pure android experience. HOWEVER, the battery life is terrible. Every time i power up the screen I cringe as I watch 1-2% of my battery disappear. They really need to work on the battery aspect. If you're a moderate to heavy user, I would keep shopping for something else.

    Best phone for the money

I owned a Moto Droid Maxx and since carriers make you pay for the phone anyway, I figured I'd get the best unlocked phone available. The camera is the best on the market, the front speakers are awesome and the HD calls are as clear as can be. If I was going to pay for a phone outright it was going to be the MXPE.

I have had a moto x since 2013 and this is probabaly the best phone I have had. The battery life is decent for such a large phone. My favorite features are moto display and moto assist. I hope they go with the amoled screen for the next one.

Phone reception is the worst. Same with the WiFi. Battery finishes fairly quickly. Camera setting is absolutely the worst. STAY away from this phone. You get EXACTLY what you pay for.

Pure vanilla Android, marshmallow update like nexus, unlocked, and dual sim card slots make this phone all off what you would want in a Nexus phone. Only with a micro SD card slot

    Deal Breakers

    Posted .

I have the following deal breakers on this phone. Number one is the phone I bought has a ghost touch issue where the screen will respond to a touch that isn't there. A real pain in the neck. Second is the battery life but the turbo charge is cool Third is that even with a 21 mpixel camera there is no Optical image stabilization and in low light you really need to use that 3 second timer to keep the camera steady.

Was happy for the phone on a moments notice. The Gorilla glass was a deal maker since my old phone had taken one too many falls.

    not that great

So far it is garbage. It is not intuitive. Can’t save pictures from e-mail. If you save a picture to your SD card, you cannot retrieve it. You have to go online and dig into the general “one size fits all” instructions to try and figure out how to get some use out of the phone. I can get the same functions out of a much cheaper phone.
