Spec incorrect.

Very Happy with this phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for $249 last week at BB, 32gb of memory, one heck of a deal imo Phone works great and is easy to use, quality is that of a phone of twice the price imo. love the screen size, the only 'complaint' I have is the battery drains quickly so the turbo charger that comes with the phone really is useful, fully charges in less than an hour, I bought a car charger online because when you use the driving directions app, the battery drops quickly, as with all cell phones Love my Moto X pure!

Great deal for $249.00
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm setting up this phone for my wife who is moving on from an iPhone because of memory size and price issues. It's pretty good compared to the Nexus 6 i have, I'm really impressed with it and upon updating it received android 6.0.1 and hoping 7.0 is next. The Lcd screen is sharp as is the 21 mp back camera. She will be using on a T-mo prepaid plan after looking at opening up a family plan(too expensive with fees and taxes) and prepaid taxes only come out to a few dollars. Hotspot availability and Wi-fi calling and text just make this phone all the more a better choice and i can add more memory as needed.

Very Good but I still like the Samsung Galaxy line
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I find it fast to load programs and web content, sound is OK but not special, nice that the speakers on are on the front. Great that it comes unlocked so that you can sign up with contract or pay as you go with most any service provider. Also, no blot ware installed. Battery is on par with my Samsung Galaxy 5. I tend to run many things at once or stream radio, tv, etc that I find myself having to charge both phones part way through the day.. I find the settings option on the Galaxy offers more information and options for making adjustments. I got this unit as a back up option for the office as many coworkers break their phones all the time. This unit will serve as a same day replacement for them.

Best lower-priced phone there is
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife's previous phone (LG G2) decided to die, so suddenly we needed to find her a new phone. I loath the thought of paying $700 for a new one, so I looked around. I considered getting the Moto G4 because I had recently bought that for my mother. And, that's a terrific phone too. But, I wanted to get one a little better, especially the camera as well as have the phone know which direction it is pointed in (Moto G4 can't do that). I can't be more pleased by this phone. The screen is terrific and the touch response works great. It is plenty fast for our use (no game playing other than Candy Crush or something not as CPU-intensive). Connects to AT&T and wifi with good signal, no problems. Plenty of space for apps. And, the camera image quality is also very good. As far as the hardware goes, I'm having trouble figuring out why I'd ever want to pay $700 for a phone. I really don't see any advantage in that, and most people probably won't either. And, I have what was a $700 phone too (LG G4) and this phone is at least as good (except maybe the camera... LG G4 really has a nice camera). So, this is now my new favorite surpassing my previous favorite of the Moto G4 for only $70 more. If you're deciding between the two, get this. While the camera is good, the camera app that Motorola puts on all their phones is rather lame. You can't do basic things like self timer or panoramas. So I installed the free Open Camera on it which has many more features.

Great phone for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've read the reviews on this site, Amazon and Android authority. I think overall, especially at this price point, this was the best phone for the price. Some people were crying about the overheating issues, and although it can be a problem, isn't really that big of a deal. I experienced it in the first half hour of use. That was because of all the updates it had to do. After that, I really haven't had an over heating issue. Using Google maps can cause it to heat up. But I don't use maps all day. The battery has been great. I've read some reviews of people complaining about how it's not as great as it should be. Well, after a full day of normal usage, the battery is at 30% and typically lasts all day for me. The turbo charging is great and in less than an hour can get a full charge.

First unlocked phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this phone. Front facing speakers, works on T-Mobile, sd card slot, option for adaptable storage. Love the screen the size, even the battery. The battery charges in a hour. No more charging the phone overnight. Only time the phone got hot was when it did the update to 6.0. i got the phone for $249.99 (price match). Unlocked is the way to go. I got 2 of these with geek squad insurance for less than one galaxy s7 edge/note 7. Also its pure android, hopefully it updates to N. If not when its time to change the phone and prices drop Motorola has a trade in program

Awesome phone for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the 32gb model for 250$. For this price, you cannot find anything better. Front facing dual stereo speakers and QHD screen are superb for watching videos and gaming. The phone is smooth and gives you pure android experience with no bloatware. The ram is 2.5gb not 3gb as mentioned. The phone gets heated up little quickly and not suitable for intense gaming.

Good phone but heavy and big
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, for the price and specs you cannot beat this phone. However, I was coming from a Moto X 2nd Generation 2014 and compared to that, this phone is indeed big and heavy. I am returning this phone and will stick to my old phone a bit longer.

A good phone, but still outclassed by competitors
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the phone for about 7 months now. At first it was a promising replacement to my Note 3. I had been serial Samsung user, but Verizon eliminated the unlimited data (at the time) and me not wanting to get rid of my unlimited data went with an unlocked option. I won't say the phone is bad, its very good. But it has a lot of little wonky and less intuitive features compared to other phones in the Google/Android family. Pros: Good design, Camera is great (in good light), good processing power, expandable memory, no carrier bloatware, will work on all major US carriers, decent battery, Cons: Their swipe style keyboard is much less intuitive than a Samsung counterpart, the back button is on the screen and hinders app usage and it rotates it's location away from the bottom of the phone, the video camera takes good video but the audio always has a steady click behind it. Camera is useless in low light/heavy movement, bluetooth is very finicky and even when paired up it doesn't always send audio to device. Phone call audio quality is lacking. Cannot stream and take a phone call at the same time. For 300ish dollars its a great alternative and the freedom to move to different carriers is great. But the phone use is much less polished compared to a Samsung or Apple.

Love it--#teamandroid(again)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is beautiful both inside and out. I got the bamboo-backed 32GB Moto X Pure, after having an iPhone 5C for three years. My main motivation for purchasing this phone was the amount of storage. For my budget, I could only get an iPhone that was refurbished, or new but with only 16GB of storage. After reading the reviews, I took a leap and bought this Moto X Pure, and love it. The only annoying thing is all the updating--and notifications of updates--but overall, a great phone.

pretty decent phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it was a nano card so I had to go buy another sim card to put in, camera is very nice, don't care much for the text messaging look and I am surprised that I cannot change the look of it, both conversations are all black and white, guess I will get used to it. surprised on these new phones there isn't a place to BLOCK calls instead of sending them to voicemail. So far everything is nice and works well

Great, but that battery tho!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love this phone. Handles tasks well, smooth operating system. Camera is good, although it does struggle in low light. Moto Actions is a nice addition and it works very well. Battery life is horrible though! The turbo charging feature offsets this a bit, but I really wish the battery life was better. If not for the battery, I would have given 5 stars. Great phone for the price overall.

It was a good phone but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a phone after mine had gotten water damaged so I spend a few days researching some decent inexpensive phones to get me through. I saw and read reviews on this one thinking it was perfect for what I was looking for. On paper the screen is a 5.7" QHD display but it looked very dull, in the sun it was barely visible. The power button was always getting jammed, you almost had to slam it next to a corner for it to depress. The battery is rated at 3000 mah, but on a full charge Id be below 50% by midday with moderate use. The camera specs are suppose to be 21 mega pixels but my wife's iphone 6s plus took better pictures and thats rated at 12 mp. The android os just always seemed to run buggy on it considering it had the snap dragon 808 and 3gb of ram. The sound was great, it provided a nice front stereo sound, but every time I received a message or sent one there was always a popping sound like the speaker was busted. Judging from the rating of the phone, not everyone has had the same experience as I had. After a few days I exchanged it for the moto Z play and haven't looked back

A very nice upgrade from Nexus 4
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: very good cell and wifi antennae, apparently. Very strong signals and high download speeds; Fast; excellent screen resolution; android 6; great front & rear cameras; gps is excellent; allows adding an SD card; excellent price ($250 for a new 32 GB from BB) Cons: sometimes call reception is bad, sounds like an interference even when I have 4 or 5 bars; size - yuuuge

Great for the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like this phone for the on sale price of $250. Only qualms I have with it are the placement of the volume and unlock buttons (on the side) and the possibility of debris getting in the gap on the front facing speakers. One of the plastic bumpers on the front facing speaker is loose after trying to clean out pocket junk the got stuck in there.
