Took a chance on switching to Motorola after having a Note 2 & Note 4 in last four years.... Got it during the $10 a month for 24 months promo period which is why I rate it average. If I had paid regular retail, this phone would be a one star. First, the good: Very thin, charges FAST, and runs apps well. The Bad: The camera (13MP) is atrocious when using the stock camera app, battery drains fast when using screen (opposed to listening to podcasts etc) & Bluetooth, and keyboard layout not consistent across apps.

This phone is great, but the thing is that you have to know what you are getting into. This phone is for those who want cutting-edge, not necessarily those who just want a Samsung phone. This has features and aspects that are very non-traditional, but for that I love it.

I have Note 4 and this is a good upgrade. However, the camera is ok. It's not really good in low light compare to Note 4. Other than that, it's smooth with SD820 CPU.

Best buys advertisements were misleading, so I bought thinking this device would be SHATTERPROOF, but it isn't. Don't expose to water extreme temperatures or you'll be sol in terms of manufacturers warranty. I got for only $4.99/month and already paid off so for the value, if you're not clumsy like me, could be a good choice. Takes decent photos, mods are cool but kinda impractical and expensive, the experience as a whole made me buy the DROID Z FORCE, both are compatible with Google Day Dream VR.

First I'll start with the negative, only negative is battery life is not as good as my previous Droid Turbo. The rest of the phone is awesome. Awesome reception, great screen quality, and the mod options are awesome.

My son's each got this phone and they both love it very much. They are enjoying many of the features even though I am sure there are more that they haven't figured out yet. They especially like the ability to shake the phone to activate the flashlight.

I purchased my Moto Z after being a Samsung user for years. I switched because my phone died and I didn't want to pay $600 for a new one. It took some getting used to, but I'm not regretting my decision.

I like it OK but don't like that when I receive emails they don't open entirely I have to press the open all the way to see pictures. I like the text voicemail. Not sure if I'll recommend to friend or not.

Once again, switched to android because a best buy team member convinced me to...Love android and this phone. Only Four stars because My wife and I easily cracked our screens. But great phone...love it.

The CPU is nothing special. My 2012 archos gamepad with it's rockchip processor emulates better. My Moto Maxx was better at games. The only redeeming quality is Moto moods. Of these I have many

Been pretty happy with the phone, the moto mods are a neat idea, hopefully the new ones keep working and they come out with the cool ones in the future. Phone runs smooth, stay up to date with security patches, been happy so far.

The phone works pretty well. I like that it is closer to the base Android OS. The biggest complaint I have is the battery. It is just a little too small for heavy use over the course of a day.

I'm big on how a phone feels in my hand and navigation. This was the best phone out there right now for me. It does lag at times but that very well could be the apps I'm using bogging it down.

The only reason I give this phone 4 stars is because it is only worth getting if you plan on buying one of the accessories for the back. The phone itself works well, but nothing amazing.

Bought this phone because it was on sale. Replaced my G4, and it's great. It came with a battery mod, which I have never taken off so I can't comment on the regular battery life.

I had the Note 7, which they recalled twice, and had to pick a new phone. I did some research between the Samsung and Motorola, and am very happy with the Motorola Moto Z Droid.

I actually received this phone by accident, I asked for the z force and I got this one, it was very similar that I couldn't tell the difference until I saw the battery size.

So far so good on my new smart phone. This is my first one so I have nothing to compare it to so I am slowly learning new things on it. But I have to say I am liking it.

Its excellent phone, especially with moto mods. Screen is crisp. Almost stock android. Motorola camera is not be best or on par with competition. That's only drawback. Otherwise its an excellent phone

I could have upgraded my phone a year earlier but I waited till something special came out and that was the Moto Z. I am super happy with it and would recommend it to anyone especially for only $240
