I’ve always wanted to try it since it came out. Against all warnings I went and bought it, to compare it to the Galaxy Flip5. So first night setting it up; it was hot and I chucked it off to everything loading on etc, etc. Now this phone is just a Trap Phone for the Trap Phone so I’m not use it everyday outside for Monopoly Go (IYKYK), so no phone calls, no texts but I’m noticing all of these things in the notification tray…..Moto This and Moto That, and I’m like MOTO WHAT. Now I am a 80% iPhone person and I have the Galaxy Flip5 which I love but thing thing here as soon as I felt it I knew I didn’t like it. It didn’t feel solid like the Samsung. The Motorola blotwear is all over the phone as if it was 1999, it’s a bit much. But the thing that is making me take it back is because I took a look at my charger and I am seeing it is melted at the part that goes into the phone and I am done with it.
This is not the experience that we wanted you to have with us. We do hope that everyone is okay. We'd like to check up on you and see if there's anything that requires medical attention. As we stand behind our products, we would like to have the opportunity to investigate your feedback further. Write us an email at [email protected]. We'll be there to help. -Mitch

Purchased an "excellent" open box online and got the phone late. Phone had missing pixels where fold is 21 days later. Best buy said I'm not at the correct "membership level" to return the item after 3 weeks. Got run around. Garbage! Don't buy from Best Buy!!!

A Perfect Blend of Nostalgia and Modern Innovation
I've been using the Motorola Razr+ 2023 for a few weeks now, and it has been an outstanding experience. As a long-time admirer of the original Razr, I was thrilled to see how Motorola has beautifully reimagined this iconic design with cutting-edge technology.
Design and Build Quality
The design of the Razr+ 2023 in Infinite Black is truly striking. It feels luxurious in hand, and the folding mechanism is both smooth and sturdy. The external display is not only convenient for quick glances at notifications but also enhances the overall aesthetic appeal of the phone.
Display
The 6.7-inch P-OLED main display is vibrant and offers excellent clarity and color accuracy. Watching videos and playing games on this screen has been a delightful experience. The 2.7-inch G-OLED external display is equally impressive, providing a quick and easy way to interact with the phone without unfolding it.
Performance
Equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and 8GB of RAM, the Razr+ 2023 handles multitasking and high-performance apps seamlessly. I experienced no lag, and everything from launching apps to switching between tasks was smooth. The 256GB of storage is more than sufficient for my needs, accommodating apps, photos, and videos comfortably.
Camera
The camera system is versatile and produces high-quality images. The 50MP main camera captures detailed and vivid photos, even in low light. The 13MP ultra-wide camera is great for capturing expansive shots and group photos. The front-facing camera, combined with the external display, makes taking selfies very convenient.
Battery Life
The battery life is impressive. The 3500mAh battery easily lasts me through a day of heavy usage, including streaming videos, browsing, and gaming. The fast charging feature is a huge plus, allowing me to quickly recharge and get back to using the phone without much downtime.
Software and Features
Running on Android 13, the Razr+ 2023 provides a clean and user-friendly interface. Motorola's subtle enhancements improve the experience without overwhelming the user with unnecessary features. I particularly appreciate the Ready For platform, which allows seamless connectivity with other devices.
Overall Experience
The Motorola Razr+ 2023 in Infinite Black is a fantastic device that combines the nostalgic charm of the original Razr with modern smartphone capabilities. Its stylish design, excellent performance, versatile camera system, and impressive battery life make it a standout choice for anyone looking to upgrade their smartphone. I highly recommend it for those who appreciate both form and function in a mobile device.
Pros:
Elegant and premium design
High-quality main and external displays
Powerful performance with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
Versatile and capable camera system
Strong battery life with fast charging
Cons:
Premium price point
Slightly heavier due to the foldable mechanism
In conclusion, the Motorola Razr+ 2023 is a remarkable blend of style and technology. It has exceeded my expectations in every aspect and is a worthwhile investment for anyone seeking a unique and powerful smartphone experience.

I really like the phone except IT'S MISSING THE VOLUME BUTTON. The literal volume down button is missing from the device. It's just a hole where the physical button should be.

Have had the phone for 3 weeks now...so far battery life has been great, it feels solid, and is relatively easy to navigate the features. Friends think it is pretty cool as well. I appreciate the smaller space in my pocket. I find a larger phone in the pocket hinders my ability to bend down to tie my shoes or pick something up on occasion...this phone doesn't cause that.
Picture quality is good. Taking a picture of people is pretty cool in that the people you are taking a picture of can see what YOU see on the smaller screen as the picture is being taken, so they can get an idea of what they look like.
The folding action seems pretty solid. This is my first flip phone since the original Razr 20 years ago or more, so I do not have much to compare it to, but I am happy with it. The crease in the display is there, but I don't think there is room to complain about it, as you can only tell at certain angles...looking straight at the screen you can not see it while it is on. My opinion, If you don't want a crease don't get a flip phone.
Speaker quality is decent, nothing special even though has Dolby Atmos.
One minor complaint I have is that the Android auto connection in my car is delayed compared to my old Samsung phone. It seems to take about 15 seconds or so to sync up or recognize once plugged in. Works fine from there though.
I bought the phone on special, 50% price off from MSRP, and for $500 bucks you get a lot of phone. Sure there are better products available, but not sure there are for the current price point. There are not a ton of case options available in store, but Amazon of course has them and the one I purchased works well, is tight, and the functionality is hardly compromised.
Hi Jerm, Thank you for sharing such a thorough and thoughtful review of your new phone! We're delighted to hear that you find it stylish, easy to carry, and of great value for the price. It's wonderful that the compact design fits seamlessly into your day-to-day life and that the external screen features add a fun, functional touch to your photography. We're glad you're enjoying the foldable design and the nostalgic experience of returning to a flip phone after so many years. It's also great to hear your positive perspective on the display crease—your insight about expectations with flip phones is spot on! We appreciate your feedback about the Android Auto connection and the speaker quality. We'll share this with our team. My new Motorola razr phone

I recently purchased the Motorola Razr, and I have to say, it’s been an impressive experience so far. This phone is not just a device; it’s a throwback to the iconic flip phone of the early 2000s, with a modern twist that sets it apart from today’s smartphones.
Design and Build Quality:
One of the standout features of the Razr is its unique design. The foldable form factor immediately draws attention, combining the nostalgia of the classic Razr with cutting-edge technology. The build quality feels premium, and the hinge mechanism is smooth and sturdy, giving a satisfying snap every time it closes. It’s compact and fits easily into any pocket or bag, making it convenient for on-the-go use.
Display:
The 6.2-inch OLED foldable display is bright, vibrant, and provides excellent color reproduction. When unfolded, it’s like using a regular smartphone, but the ability to fold it down to a smaller size is incredibly practical. The external Quick View display is a game-changer, allowing me to quickly check notifications, reply to messages, and even take selfies without opening the main screen.
Performance:
With a [processor model, e.g., Snapdragon 765G] under the hood, the Razr delivers solid performance for everyday tasks. It handles apps, browsing, and multitasking with ease. While it may not be a powerhouse for gaming or heavy-duty applications, it’s more than capable for regular use.
Camera:
The camera setup is quite decent, especially for a device that’s more focused on design and innovation. It performs well in good lighting conditions, producing sharp and vibrant photos. The external display makes taking selfies easier, as you can use the main camera for higher quality shots.
Battery Life:
The battery life is decent, getting me through a full day of moderate use. The Razr also supports fast charging, which is convenient for quickly topping up the battery when needed. If you’re a heavy user, you might need to keep a charger handy, but for day-to-day usage, it’s reliable.
User Experience:
Motorola’s near-stock Android experience is clean and smooth. The user interface is intuitive, and the Razr’s signature gestures, like the quick chop for the flashlight or twist for the camera, add a touch of convenience that I genuinely appreciate.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, the Motorola Razr is a unique device that brings something new and exciting to the smartphone market. It’s a great choice for those looking for a phone that combines style, nostalgia, and functionality. If you value a compact design and want a phone that stands out from the crowd, the Razr is definitely worth considering.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing with your device. To assist you further, we recommend contacting Best Buy directly to inquire about their return policy. They will be able to provide you with the necessary information and options available to resolve the problem. -Aria

The screen is large when open, makes it easy to read and folds up nice and compact when it's in my pocket. Processor is fast and apps open quick and snappy. Friends are impressed when they can see themselves on the outside screen when taking a group photo. Battery lasts all day and still has 10-20% at the end of the day. Would recommend getting a good case for it that covers the hinge as it seems like it's the weak point of the phone but overall no complaints!
Thank you for sharing such a detailed and positive review, SalemTheDog. We're happy to hear you're enjoying the large display, compact design, and smooth performance of your phone. It's great to know the outer screen is making group photos even more fun, and that the battery life is holding up well throughout the day. We also appreciate your feedback about protecting the hinge it's a helpful tip for other users. The display is great, bright with vibrant colors. The battery is a bit weak. With moderate use I get about 10 hours of use. The phone is very compact when folded, even being thin in the folded position. I had another brands full screen flip phone previously. It was thicker and the screen display wasn't quite as good as the Motorola Razr+. The battery was better though and the camera seemed to take sharper pictures. The other phone was twice as expensive though. Overall I think this is a great phone for the price.
