Best flip phone ever customer service was great need more phone case options for this phone...but no glitches or dropped calls my only complaint is I need two fingers to turn the power off on the phone...

Performance-wise, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip paired with 8GB RAM handles everything I throw at it—whether it's multitasking, streaming, or gaming. The 256GB storage is more than enough for my apps, media, and files. The camera setup is solid. The 12MP main and 13MP ultrawide lenses deliver sharp, vibrant shots, and the 32MP front camera is great for video calls and selfies. I especially enjoy using the rear cameras with the external display—it’s a clever touch that makes the Razr+ stand out. Battery life is decent for a foldable. Great for 2 months, then screen had a small black spot in the top right corner that spread over the entire screen in one day. Have to send into Motorola for repair.

Performance is smooth for everyday tasks, and the 144Hz inner display looks amazing—bright, sharp, and very responsive. Battery life has been decent; not the absolute best, but it gets me through a full day with normal use. The cameras are good in daylight, and night shots are fine for a casual user. If you want a modern foldable without spending Galaxy Z Flip money, this is a great choice. Stylish, fun to use, and surprisingly practical.

I’ve always wanted to try it since it came out. Against all warnings I went and bought it, to compare it to the Galaxy Flip5. So first night setting it up; it was hot and I chucked it off to everything loading on etc, etc. Now this phone is just a Trap Phone for the Trap Phone so I’m not use it everyday outside for Monopoly Go (IYKYK), so no phone calls, no texts but I’m noticing all of these things in the notification tray…..Moto This and Moto That, and I’m like MOTO WHAT. Now I am a 80% iPhone person and I have the Galaxy Flip5 which I love but thing thing here as soon as I felt it I knew I didn’t like it. It didn’t feel solid like the Samsung. The Motorola blotwear is all over the phone as if it was 1999, it’s a bit much. But the thing that is making me take it back is because I took a look at my charger and I am seeing it is melted at the part that goes into the phone and I am done with it.

Purchased an "excellent" open box online and got the phone late. Phone had missing pixels where fold is 21 days later. Best buy said I'm not at the correct "membership level" to return the item after 3 weeks. Got run around. Garbage! Don't buy from Best Buy!!!

Broke in less than 3 months! The screen is nearly all dead pixels, making the device unusable. Save your money for a better Android or iPhone.

Do not buy this product! It lasted 3 days the screen went bad. I had a case before i got it, all i did was open and close it. I called best buy customer service sent me to the store and three people basiclly laughed at me and said too bad. . 3 days! Worst internet purchase ever!

The screen is large when open, makes it easy to read and folds up nice and compact when it's in my pocket. Processor is fast and apps open quick and snappy. Friends are impressed when they can see themselves on the outside screen when taking a group photo. Battery lasts all day and still has 10-20% at the end of the day. Would recommend getting a good case for it that covers the hinge as it seems like it's the weak point of the phone but overall no complaints!

It exploded with a year of usage, exposing people to explosions and weird chemicals

I really like the phone except IT'S MISSING THE VOLUME BUTTON. The literal volume down button is missing from the device. It's just a hole where the physical button should be.

Booticus’s Impressions (in the order his brain experienced them) 1. The external display Booticus looked at that big, breezy front screen and thought, “This is what phones were always meant to be.” He could check messages without unfolding the whole device like a medieval manuscript. He could glance at maps, see the weather, reply to messages, and—because he is Booticus—watch a tiny cartoon boot dance in the corner. 2. The internal screen Open it up, and it becomes a full-sized 6.9" display that flips out like a magic trick. It’s bright, fast, and smoother than the first snowfall on the Isle of St. Booticus. And yes, it creases in the middle. But only in the way a life well lived collects creases too. Booticus respects that. 3. Performance The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 zips along quickly enough that Booticus never felt slowed down. He could multitask, watch videos, check maps, scroll through Zillow listings he will never act on, and everything just worked. Not the newest chip, but plenty fast for anyone not editing Hollywood films on their phone. 4. Cameras Decent. Not amazing. Booticus took several photos of waffles and one photo of a gull who looked like it had unpaid debts. The pictures were good. Not “poster on the wall in an art museum” good, but “text it to your wife” good. 5. Battery Adequate. A full day if Booticus behaved himself. Half a day if he doomscrolled, took long walks while running navigation, and made five calls he immediately regretted. Flip phones simply don’t have giant batteries—part of the tradeoff. 6. Build quality The hinge? Surprisingly sturdy. It did not creak, wobble, or beg for mercy. Booticus tested it by dramatically snapping it shut after reading emails from people who clearly hadn’t read the previous email. Rock solid. Booticus’s Verdict The razr+ 2023 is a joyful device. Not because it’s the fastest. Not because it has the best camera. But because it does something most phones have forgotten how to do: It makes the owner feel something. Booticus felt cooler.
