Great foldable phone, no issues with durability, reasonable battery life, cameras are not so good, but you can't beat that feeling when finishing the call by just closing the phone - classic! Overall - very happy with the purchase

Foldables have certainly come a long way since the 2023 era, however, for this year, it’s not a bad phone. The interface is very nice and fast, the display is quite good, and the foldable aspect is its killer feature. Being able to have this phone in my back pocket and not worry about it has been wonderful!

The phone is excellent; you can use the front screen for almost everything, and the inside screen is awesome. The phone is compact but full of power and beauty. Motorola is the king of flip, and that is no denying. This is what a flip should be. The battery is good, gets me through the day with no problem. The more I use it, the more I love it. Great job Motorola you hit this one out of the park.

I bought this last August after finally deciding to see if the flip design language would fit my lifestyle. The Razr+ delivered, in some ways beyond what I'd expected. The inner screen has bright, vibrant colors, a great refresh rate, and coupled with the (albeit last-gen) Snapdragon processor, displays stutter-free, beautiful pictures and videos. The screen feel is a little less smooth than a traditional plate of glass or screen protector, but is a small trade-off for the flexibility of folding it in half. The folded form factor is where I really got extra mileage. The ability to run any app you desire in either a standard or full screen (overlapped by the cameras) view is fantastic, and meant I open the phone much less frequently than I anticipated. There are some trade-offs - the crease, while much less pronounced than on the Samsung Flip 5, is still there, although mostly noticeable when the inner display is off. Not all apps behave as they should when run on the front screen. Front-to-inner screen hand-offs are occasionally clunky, but will hopefully get better with future software releases. Overall, a great device. Lots of fun with all of the video and picture taking advantages of the dual screen add to the flavor. 4.5 stars to be honest, but this is the right direction for foldables for me.

Thank you for the detailed review, Grover72. It sounds like the Razr+ has really impressed you with its vibrant inner screen and versatile form factor. The flexibility of folding it in half seems like a great advantage. Glad to hear you're enjoying the video and picture-taking features as well! I wanted a phone for one hand use, that's less invasive than the license plate sized screens these companies want us to carry around. I use this mostly from the "external" display, and it feels satisfyingly decisive to switch to the, or close off that world. This form factor is a step in the right direction IMO, I wish the external display made it easier to hide banners in Apps, like looking at a full route on Google Maps, or seeing the search results as they pop up. Other, even smaller phones (Unihertz Jelly Star) do this well, so it's not just that the display is small. Screens look great, performance is awesome (tho I don't play games), generally the software is good, slightly glitchy to silence incoming calls when closed, and I'm annoyed I can't delete TikTok. Functionally it means the phone model cannot be used for the work I do.

I recently purchased the Motorola Razr+ 2023 256GB (Unlocked) in Infinite Black from BestBuy.com, and I'm thoroughly impressed. My favorite aspects of this phone are its exceptional ease of use and its incredible portability. Right out of the box, the Razr+ 2023 felt intuitive to navigate. The interface is clean and straightforward, making it a breeze to get accustomed to, even for someone who might be switching from a different operating system or brand. But where this phone truly shines is its portability. The foldable design is a game-changer. It slips effortlessly into even small pockets or bags, making it incredibly convenient for on-the-go use. Despite its compact folded size, it unfolds to a generous screen that's perfect for media consumption and productivity. Overall, if you're looking for a smartphone that combines modern features with an emphasis on user-friendliness and ultimate portability, the Motorola Razr+ 2023 is an excellent choice.

I really should give this phone five stars based on the price. It was several hundred dollars cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Flip 5 that I was considering, and it almost as good. I took off a star for two things that I think the Galaxy phone does better. First thing is this phone does not seem to have a simple way to turn off the Bluetooth like the Galaxy phones have. The second thing is that the Galaxy phones have quick access to several functions by swiping down from the top of the screen. An example of this it turning on the flashlight. This phone doesn't seem to have as good of a system for quick access to turn things on and off. It does have a quick way to turn on the flashlight by shaking the phone in a motion like chopping wood with a hatchet. But on the good side, this has been a solid phone so far. Great screen, great battery life, easy transfer from old phone, and feels good in the hand. Because of the price difference, I would still buy this phone over the Galaxy Flip 5.

Long time Android user, I despise Samsung & all their proprietary apps. Absolutely not an apple user at all. For quite awhile I was happy being within a few years of the newer Android OS & using mediocre phones. I can tell ya' if you're considering this phone you will not be disappointed. I was surprised at how good the "flip" & overall build of this phone is - I now have little doubt to it's durability vs the old school flip phones. The video stabilization & camera are an incredible upgrade compared to my wife's Samsung (eww) & the older Nokia 3.4 that I've been using. There's no fish eye or distortion in images & the video makes the Google photos stabilization pointless. My first "flagship" for a typically cheap user & no regrets at all. Oh almost forgot, the fact that I can run this battery down after a few days & completely charge it up in something crazy like 15 minutes (don't quote me) is insane.

The Motorola razr+ 2023 has been a great upgrade so far. The design is the first thing you notice—it’s super sleek, lightweight, and the hinge feels sturdy. The external display is actually useful, not just a gimmick. I can check notifications, reply to messages, control music, and even use some apps without flipping the phone open. Performance is smooth for everyday tasks, and the 144Hz inner display looks amazing—bright, sharp, and very responsive. Battery life has been decent; not the absolute best, but it gets me through a full day with normal use. The cameras are good in daylight, and night shots are fine for a casual user. If you want a modern foldable without spending Galaxy Z Flip money, this is a great choice. Stylish, fun to use, and surprisingly practical.
