I love the size when folded, makes it more manageable. Easy to use screen when folded to respond to messages or check notifications. The fold line is present, but largely unnoticeable. Might not have the best camera, but definitely good enough for most people. Definitely would recommend.

Motorola always make superior phones compared to Apple or Samsung. The display, battery, performance and software blew past my expectations. Only cons include camera and durability concerns. But based on Motorola's track record on durability (my 2017 Moto Z force still alive and kicking) Ill be in good shape.

So far, so good. Impressive design and functionality in a very compact form. I'm a long time fan of Motorola for its no frills products and price points but this flip phone brings leading edge style, form and performance.

Phone ok, battery bad, scam refresh rate

I review phones a lot and do carroer testing and I was really looking forward to the razr plus 2023. Apon unboxing it was nicely packaged and felt great innthe hand. I was reviewing it after the moto edge plus 2023 (btw much better phone). PROS: outer display is a game changer, display is clear and one of the only phones that have a DC dimming feature for people who have PWM issues with headaches and irritation from OLED, build quality felt great, fast and responsive. CONS: Advertised refresh rate is a lie. Actually worse than some other phones. It is advertised as up to 165hz like the Edge Plus 2023 but at low brightness it stays at 90hz and woth gigher brightness it goes up to 120hz. It only goes to 165hz if you manually turn it on in Moto Game time while playing a game. But the other issue is the battery does not last long and it heats up quickly and thermal throttles so ot defeats the purpose... Even just using normal apps like facebook, and watching videos it heats up. Browse the web for 30 minutes and its warm. I know its summer but no other phone is like that especially in a cool air conditioned room. Overall ok phone. Cool concept but the only thing it does better than the Samsung flip 4 is the outer display. I'm really disappointed after seeing Motorola stepping up and dropping the ball on the refresh rate and battery and heating issues.

They no longer make small phones; this is a suitable solution for us tiny phone lovers. You can do almost everything from the exterior screen, although not as easily as in the big screen, but I see this as a positive to keep me from doom scrolling and off of the phone. The being screen is awesome and impressive technology. Camera is not great if that is really important to you (photography), but it is now than suitable as a daily driver for on the go pictures, etc. Takes a little getting used to if coming from Apple or Samsung, but totally worth it if you want a "small" (when folded) phone with "BIG" phone options and capabilities (Android 15, specs, etc). The battery life has been fine, but this is not the device for you if you are a heavy user and this is one of your main concerns. I recommend a case (Poetic Spartan), as while it feels like the phone is manufactured well and if high quality, the fact the it folds and has an outside screen just makes it seem fragile...it does add size, but we remember that phone accident(s)! You won't find a better deal than this for a compact (reliable options don't even exist anymore ) or flip phone at the moment...for $300, just get it!

Thank you for the thoughtful and detailed feedback! It’s great to hear how well the compact design, exterior screen functionality, and overall performance fit your lifestyle, especially for those who prefer smaller phones with big capabilities. You brought up excellent points about the camera, battery life, and the importance of a sturdy case for protection. It's the king of vertical foldables. It's so easy to carry never forget my phone anymore. Feels like you got two phones in one. Not to mention it's so unique and iPhones users stay dead quiet when they see it but can't stop looking.

I have been using Motorola since my ARMY daze,39 years. I like the durability, ease of use, take sim out of old phone and insert into your new one and it's up and running and I have no commitment to cellphone company. I use AT&T. This flip doesn't seem to be as stout that I'm accustomed to,time will tell.

Bought new and my first one has a bit faulty hinge but beyond that the phone is amazing, only complaint is the hinge is very sensitive dust and a phone case is very very needed but hard to acquire. For a sale price its more than worth it.

Although this phone is now two years old it still holds up as a very good flip phone with all the needed bells and whistles. If you are interested in a less expensive flip phone than the Samsung consider the Motorola Razr series.

Motorola is super underrated and makes the most high-end phones for hundreds of dollars less than Samsung. This puppy is such an example. I owned it myself and it impressed me so much I gifted this one I bought from Best Buy to my sister as a Christmas present.

Seems to be working great so far. Only had it for a few weeks. First time with an Android phone. Love the small window for most of my time. Opens to a big screen if needed. Will have to see how the hinge does after a few months. So far, so good!
