    Awesome Wireless for Android Auto!!!

Great wireless Android auto plugin device for any car that doesn't have wireless Android auto. At first I was a little skeptical, but this device is Rock Solid. Just be sure to unplug it if your USB ports always stay on when your car is off, or else it will drain your battery. I learned the hard way by leaving it plugged in at the airport as I was out of town. Came back to a dead battery Overall 2 thumbs up and a great device to use if you're looking for that wireless Android auto feature.

I wish I had known about this product sooner! I keep my phone in my pocket, so the charging port traps lint, and despite cleaning it out regularly, the usb cable falls out all the time disconnecting the Android Auto. I was looking into a new head unit with wireless Android Auto and stumbled across this absolute gem. So far it works flawlessly, 100% recommend!

Very good solution for Android Auto users that keep damaging USB-C port on your phone because plugging/unplugging it so often. With this it will make your car stereo capable to run wireless Android Auto. Connection is steady and reliable, I never have a built in wireless Android auto car but tried rental car one, compares to that, this is on par. Get in the car with the already connected phone (via BT) to this device will quickly start the Android Auto on the stereo. After that it operates just like wired connection. Simple and affordable solution.

It works well - until it doesn't. It stopped working after about 2 years. I blame the hot heat in the car. Even though it malfunctioned on me, it still worked for a time period I would've expected for a product that is left in the car subject to extreme heat and cold. By far the most seamless experience I have had with this type of product.

The adapter works great for me. Took about 3 minutes to set up. I have not noticed any delays between the phone and display. It does take somewhere between 10-20 seconds to sync to the car. It is nice now to just get in and out of the car without having to connect a cable. Nice on multiple stop trips. The price could be a little lower. I used a $5 reward certificate to get under $50.

Since this item was out of stock most of the time, i resorted to trying a different wireless Android Auto system. The Motorola MA1 blows my previous one out of the water. After you do the easy setup, Android Auto works normally without glitches. My previous one had connection issues sometimes. The MA1 has not given me any signs of connection problems as such. Other wireless dongles do a weird cycle of closing and opening Android Auto upon power up. The MA1 doesnt. Works seamlessly. If you ever have the possibility (and, frankly, luck) to get one of these, and, you want to break free of wired Android Auto to save your phone port, this is your dongle here.

Every once in a while I hit a bump and it will re-connect, but I have had it for just over a month with 4 drives of over 8 hours and a total of 2 disconnects. I am also using it on my daily work commute of 20 minutes. The initial setup was a piece of cake, and I was working in only a few minutes. The only negative is that I wish it would boot up and connect faster than 30 seconds, but considering it is a dongle doing Android Auto I consider that acceptable.

My car came with Apple Car play as far as wireless connectivity is concerned. Easy to setup and use. Eliminates the cord. 9nly issue is the monuting square is awful. I ended up using the velcro mounting strips fr9m EZ Pass and it works perfect.

    Works on 2022 Hyundai Elantra

My wife drives a Hyundai Elantra. It has Android Auto but because it comes with the widescreen infotainment system, it doesn't support wireless AA. I searched for adapters but either this one was sold out or I would find a different brand that I'm not familiar with. This little dongle was easy to setup and now it connects her phone as quick as it does with my car. There will be less wear on her USB-C port, She's less likely to forget her phone, and now she can charge using a faster method when needed.

This is an awesome, sleek device! I love that it eliminates the need for wires cluttering up my Crosstrek. It seamlessly integrates with my car, and I can't detect any difference in sound quality. Plus, there's no more fumbling with cables when I get in or out – it's the way it should be. It's a shame more cars don't come with wireless Android Auto built-in. In the meantime, this device stays discreetly in place with the included double-sided gel pad, keeping my dashboard clean and uncluttered. It simply works. Installation was a breeze, and setup was even easier. I've had no issues in my 2021 Subaru Crosstrek, paired with my Pixel 9 Pro Fold phone. I love that it's the only officially Google-certified Android Auto device out there, made by a reputable company, not some cheap knock-off.

Easy setup, stable connection. The one thing I don't like is how it stays connected after the engine is off, car is locked, and I've walked away. Need to disconnect wifi on my phone before it will let me connect a different device to the Bluetooth. But I think this comes with the territory with all devices like this.

I LOVE THIS!! I wish i had known about it months ago! It was so annoying to keep plugging my usb for my android every time i need my gps or music into my car. This device is the best and super simple to plug and connect. Literally, in a minute or two. It is one of those small and simple things that just makes my little heart so happy.

It does it's job, but connecting can be sketchy at times. 80% of the times it connects withing the first minute of turning on my Jeep, and then the other 20% it seems to take maybe two or three minutes. Not a huge deal but slightly annoying when you're already driving and have to check your phone. Also wireless causes your battery to drain a lot faster, so you'll still probably plug into your charger. Which makes me question why am I even bothering with wireless...lol. Other than that it functions exactly like being connected via USB. Not delays or lag that I've noticed.

It is a little bit expensive for what it does, but it is a lot cheaper than getting a new stereo, lol. The first time you use it is a little bit time-consuming, but after that, it just turns on and works like a charm. If you are the type of person that just want to go with no looking for the cable, then get one.

I love this thing, I use it in my 2019 Honda Clarity. Being able to just get in my car and android auto starts is lovely. In the few months I've had it there have been no issues at all. It does take a moment to connect longer than a car with native wireless android auto or using a wired connection. The full price does suck. These things were wildly overpriced when they first came out. Nowadays they are on sale pretty regularly around $50 and I think that's really a good price for one. So keep an eye out for a sale and pick one up. You won't regret it.

Android Auto wireless on a wired only receiver

I had a nice head unit (with built in wireless Android Auto) that worked for a few years before a hardware failure got the best of it. When I replaced it, a unit with Android Auto wireless was no longer in my price range, however, a wired receiver was affordable. I later added this dongle to my setup, and I now have wireless Android Auto again. It may even be more reliable/quicker functioning than the first receiver I had. Overall, very satisfied!

Had this for about two weeks. The very first day it did randomly disconnect twice while on a road trip but I think that was more the bumps in the road might have jostled the USB. Since that day there have been 0 issues. I drive a 2019 Honda Civic Si. Connected first time, no connection issues. Love this thing.

Works flawlessly with our 2021 Mazda. I was worried at first because in the instructions it states one must reset the device to switch paired phones. In practice all we have to do is select the phone we want connected with the bluetooth connection. Pair the car bluetooth to the phone and up pops Android Auto. Its a much more stable connection than the 10 ish usb cables I have tried.
