I ordered it in December and really didn't expect it until right before Christmas. However, the shipping went faster and I got it with a lot of time to spare to run it. 6 plugs - pop in the lights and they dance. Yes the music isn't loud enough to be heard from more than 20 feet away - but since it repeats, it's nice not having to hear the songs all the time.

Control of christmas light with music

The more outlets you use to plug in your lights the more variety when lights flash. There are 20 recorded songs and the stake that the unit mounts to is substantial. It did not come with a manual but I found one on line.
