Carafe is better than glass carafe, maintains hot temp of your coffee. only down size is the digital clock does not have battery support, you have to keep on resetting the digital clock everytime you plug the coffee maker to the outlet.

This is the second one of this model that I have purchased. I have some space-above issues so it is essential to have a removable waterfill. I chose this model again because the first one made over 1500 carafes of coffee with no problems before expiring, except the backlights fading. An essential task to keep the coffee good tasting is to clean and dry the carafe and filter box after finishing with your coffee. The clean cycle, when indicated, will need to be performed before you can make another pot so have some vinegar on hand. Lastly using the included and available filters really kept the coffee fresh tasting throughout it's lifetime. I expect no less from the current version of this model. Read the directions before you screw it up.

First coffee maker. Pleased so far. Fills in easily if you want to set it up the night before. Press one button & you're good in the AM. Difficult to clean afterwards if you are hand cleaning. Not sure when to replace the filter that comes with it. I use the disposable filters anyway.

I've used it for over two months and have no complaints. Coffee definitely tastes better than from the older, cheaper coffee maker I was using. There have been no leaks or other problems. I like how the thermal carafe keeps the brew warm for hours without having to use electricity to keep it heated.

Great coffee maker for those who still prefer drip coffee. Removable reservoir is amazing, and the thermal carafe works perfectly for 5-7 hours. The coffee does cool down some, but still perfect for drinking right out of the pot.

I love 3 things about this coffee maker. 1: it has a charcoal filter before the water runs through your coffee. 2: removable reservoir. And last: there is no hot plate that can causw a fire hazard. The thermal carafe keeps your coffee hot all day long!

We had an older Bunn with a thermal carafe that failed. We liked the thermal carafe because the coffee stayed hot for a long time but never tasted burnt and Bunn had a great reputation. In looking for a replacement, we found this Mr. Coffee option at Best Buy. It had the features we were looking for and we had had success with other Mr. Coffee products in the past. We went ahead and purchased. Six months later I realized it was time to leave a review and we highly recommend this coffee maker. It is easier to use than our old Bunn and keeps the coffee hot for several hours with no burnt taste. It is easier to clean and fill than the Bunn was. A winner for us!

Looks great. Easy to use and very fast. Has removable compartments that you can pull off to fill the water and coffee which are super handy but if you set them down the valves leak a little on the countertop. Overall great value.

This coffee maker makes making a perfect cup of coffee super easy! It comes with its own handy coffee scoop and a removable filter. I find it easier for cleaning to use the disposable filter with the removable filter. Would definitely recommend.

It's a great coffee maker, it keeps your coffee hot. Love the brew later button. The only thing I have bad to say about this coffee maker it is a big.

I think this is the best coffee maker that we’ve ever had! It is easy to program, easy to clean, and the carafe does indeed keep coffee warm for many hours. Could not be happier with it!

Makes a pretty good cup of coffee, still in the 'break-in' period. Thermal Carafe is great to see, much better than glass for keeping coffee warm.

Best coffee maker I have ever owned. The value for my money astounds me. This Mr. Coffee stainless steel coffee maker replaced a $400. maker and does suck a better job! I've had it about 2 years and it still brews a good cup of coffee.

Coffee maker is excellent! Love the water section, no more filling the coffee pot then pouring the water inside. The carnage keeps the coffee hormones fir several hours. The stainless steel finish is very nice. Got it on sale for only $50!

There are definitely QC issues with this model of coffee maker. The first one had a leaky thermal carafe where the plastic meets the steel. Also it would leak water from somewhere else. I returned that one and the new one seems to work just fine. The carafe is not as good as others in terms of keeping the coffee hot, but I wouldn't let coffee sit for more than an hour or two anyway. There are no temperature controls for the water and the auto brew function is not really easy to use with the limited buttons. Overall, I will keep it but it is a basic Mr. Coffee machine with a thermal carafe, which is what I would looking for.

We had a coffee maker that did not shut off automatically and after returning home a few times to fins a carafe with nothing but carbon left in it, we figured it was time for a change. This makes good coffee and is much safer to use than our previous maker. Very reasonably priced.

We have a vacation rental that keeps getting cracked pots so that solved that issue yet it is EASY to understand how to use and brews a great pot of coffee

After watching my 90 year old uncle spill water all over the place trying to get it in the back of his coffee maker I decided to get this for him, the removable water container makes it easy for him to just fill at the sink and slip it on, One button operation makes it a apiece of cake.
