There is an option to "brew later" so you can set it up the night before to have the coffee ready when you wake up. Better than a coffee shop.

SAFETY!! This one I purchased recently, is the 3rd one I have owned. I use them so much, I wear them out. However- I always keep the pots. So if I have a big function or get together at my house, I can fill all three pots and they will stay hot for awhile. Kind of like those AIR POTS back in the day did. They are great.!!!

Easy to fill the water and filter/coffee compartment. I have to admit that it took me awhile to figure out how to open the carafe top... it slides to the side before being able to be removed (easy once understood).

It’s easy to use the filter does make a difference we already have filtered water but the taste is very smooth. The only thing is that when you are pouring it it’s very slow but other than that it was a great buy!!

- A:Answer Push the "CLEAN" button to start the cleaning cycle with vinegar, not the round button that is used to start a normal coffee making cycle. The clean cycle starts and stops, soaks the heating coils while hot, and eventually completes with the light going out.

- A:Answer This is my second Mr. Coffee 10-Cup Thermal Coffee Maker. The first one lasted over 15 years. I have never used the clean button. I just use soap & water to clean the pot and the holder for the coffee grounds.

Q: QuestionIs the interior of the carafe coated with a dark brown material? The only information I’ve seen says the carafe is “stainless steel”. Maybe the material inside my carafe is a buildup of coffee? (Yuk)☹️. If so, I’ll try to remove it. Just need to know.

- A:Answer The inside of mine looks the same as the outside, stainless steel. I have a double-walled "stainless" steel mug that did get the brown coffee stains and I have read online that distilled white vinegar was one solution that would help to get rid of that.

- A:Answer After it finishes brewing a pot of coffee, a 2-hour timing cycle comes on the display. That's to let users know how long it's been since it was made (a nice feature, incidentally). If you wish to brew another pot while the timing cycle is still on, the first time you hit the button it turns off the timer, then tap it again and it begins brewing.
