Carafe could use some attention.

One thing we are not excited about is that the new carafe leaks around the edge where the plastic meets the metal.

Easy to use, first start with cleaning cycle and then make your coffee? easy, easy to use. Auto shut off feature was the feature I wanted most and this has it.

The device that holds it and the filter or permanent filter is awkward and very hard to clean. Nevertheless, it brews good cups of coffee and the thermal carafe does it's job of keeping coffee hot for 1 1/2 to two hours.

I was hesitant that this didnt have the traditional coffee warmer, but coffee still stays hot 4 hours later. It tastes great too! Moreover, my Sense energy monitoring system showed me that I'm saving 27 cents a day over my old coffee maker. It doesn't sound like much, but over 365 days that's $98.55! I guess those traditional coffee warmer use 1500 watts of power. No need to use any watts warming your coffee with this machine! Also, I like the steel carafe, because it doesnt break when we bump our granite countertop.
