I liked the idea of a removable water tank for ease of filling. I like to prepare the coffeemaker the night before so I can just start it in the morning. After 2 times maybe it started leaking a lot. I fill it to 6 cups and 2 cups worth leak out of it.

And by coincidence, when I returned home I saw that one of my nieghbors had thrown thiers in the garbage!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the 4rd I have, the only problem had is starting crazy turn on and clean by herself, and sound every hour, the other one stop working, and the other one starting smoking I decide throw away but the only think I love is the base I brake so many glasses ones, I still feel in love with this one, i is very durable , I decide when I went to Puerto Rico I buy one for my twin sister and my mom they love it. And no more glasses.

Bad design

I like this machine

Despite what I thought were good reviews, I was a little afraid of spending a hundred dollars for a Mr Coffee machine. I decided on the Zojarushi. Then I saw the Mr Coffee at Best Buy. I bought it on the spur of the moment, figuring that I could return it if I didn't like it. I found that the machine is very nice looking, if a big oversized for my counter. It is easy to operate, although I recommend reading the manual for cleaning instructions. It makes a good (not great) pot of coffee. And the coffee stays drinkably warm after four hours. All together I am happy with this machine. I could probably gotten a machine that makes tastier coffee, but I would have spent a lot more.
