Decent!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I want to go back to pots of coffee instead of the single serves mainly for costs and taste! This coffee maker has a built in filter so you do not need to buy filters and there are only 5 buttons so programming is pretty easy. However, there is no warm button so after you make a pot there is no way to warm up the coffee later without a microwave.

Neat Design

Incidentally, we use the clock on this one to tell time because it easily adjustable and, then readable from a distance, unlike the old one. Fixes pay for the replacement as far as I am concerned

Poor design, cheaply made
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first time we used this coffee maker we discovered that the pot was too short to not allow the water to flow into the pot. The water would build up in the coffee basket, then the water/coffee mix overflowing out the top and into the pot. We have to place a stick under the coffepot lid to raise the lid high enough to trigger the coffee to flow out of the basket. Also, the hinge of the coffee maker lid came apart after few uses and unable to be reassembled. So now we have to just set it on top when making a pot of coffee, hoping no one or nothing bumps it off. I will not purchase a Mr Coffee maker ever again.
