    Best of 4-cup brewers

I have had different brands of 4-cup brewers and this is the best. It is easy to use and durable (I bought one over a year ago and it still works quite well; I have now bought a second for a different location). It's for small amounts only and it's better to use a small brewer for small jobs instead of using a 10 or 12-cup brewer and trying to make only a small fraction. It is also "easy on the wallet" compared with some brands of 4-cup brewers that don't work as well.

Learn from my mistake. I bought this coffee maker as a backup. I didn't use it for 3 years. When I put water into it, the water ran out the bottom. Too late to return or use guarantee.

I knew it was cheap, but didnt't expect this poor quality. I would have rather spent more money and bought a better machine that I would use.

    Perfectly suits my needs

I'd been using a French press & loved the coffee it made but wanted a coffeemaker that would be easier to use when I stumbling around half asleep, jonesing for my morning caffeine fix. I tried the smallest, "least expensive" model of the Big Name single-cup machines. Even so, the machine was expensive, plus the pods were expensive, it made tiny cups of weak brew, and I was uncomfortable with the glut of used plastic pods entering the waste stream. I returned that coffeemaker. After a little online research, I purchased this cute little coffeemaker at my local Best Buy store. It's exactly right for me. It's easy to use (even in my bleary-eyed pre-coffee stupor), I can use my own brand of coffee and adjust the strength of the brew. It brews fast, cleans easily, can be pre-programmed to have the coffee ready when you want it, and it was about a quarter of the price of the pod machine. I've been using it daily for a couple of months and I love it.

    Great Machine for the Price!

Just like any other machine, my coffee was perfectly brewed and easy to clean up. I set up my coffee each night and it's ready when I wake up. Don't feel like waiting? Well pull out the pot and it stops brewing, put it back in and it continues. What more can you ask for? This is a personal coffee maker, if you need one to appease occasional visitors, buy a larger one. When you take into account that you are saving money on wasted coffee, water, counter space, and a larger heating surface you really can't complain. I saw a complaint about a plastic taste and grounds spilling. That taste may be the result of using the machine without rinsing it first. As with anything else, it just came from a factory. You can expect the first 1-3 cups to taste odd until regularly used. It's also important you buy the right size filter for this so your grounds don't spill. You also should regularly rinse the holder cup. Sometimes it get's clogged with grains from previous cups or plastic from the factory. This would cause the coffee to spill into your cup. I rated it a 4 on durability because it will last you 3-4 years, then you will have to buy another one. They just stop working. No clue why. Maybe it's my water? I am on my third one in about 15 years.

    The Cutest Thing ever!!!! :o)

It's so cute. It fits perfectly on my corner counter-top, which is limited on space as it is, so it's the perfect compact size. The coffee is made quickly and kept warm as long as you don't press the off button. I haven't tested out the programmable feature yet, but it is a great option to have ideally. Plenty of coffee is made for just me; I usually save 2 cups for the following day. The only thing I wish there was a "warm/reheat" button, so that I can reheat the saved coffee. I pushed the on button to see if that would reheat the coffee, but instead it smelt as if something was burning, so I immediately turned it off. Haven't officially read the manual, so I would have to check back and see if it's possible to reheat coffee. However, it would be so much easier if there was just a reheat button. Other than that I love this little thing.

Great coffee machine for single people

This is a great coffee maker for a small apartment. Makes about two mug sized coffee cups or one larger sized travel mug. It brews a perfect cup of coffee that is just right. The time delay feature is awesome, can set it at night and coffee will be ready to go in the morning. Simple and does what it is supposed to do well.

    Quick & easy

I needed to make a mug of coffee or tea about 2 times per day. This coffee maker is ideal, and cost WAY less than the 1-cup coffee makers that use packets, etc. Also, I like to try different varieties of coffee & teas and not be limited to maker brands. I seldom use the "delay" brew feature or clock but it worked when I tried it. I like the small rubber feet that makes it not slip around on the counter. I use a 4-cup generic filter and not one ground has passed thru. Also, the plastic taste is all but gone after 3 or four brew batches. This would be a good coffee maker to use at work for brewing at your desk for less money than a employee pool & better taste. It's light enough & small enough to store away until needed. Super good for a college dorm. I bought mine on sale making it cost about the same as a meal at a mid-priced eatery. Not bad!!

I had an older four cup coffee maker that finally quit working. Thought about getting a kcup coffee maker but I decided to purchase this simple coffee maker after I saw the reviews. Works great and I figured I couldn't go wrong since it's made by Mr. coffee.

This machine puts out four (or two mugs) cups of coffee in good order and keeps it hot for a while without burning the coffee. Then it shuts off for you, if you forget to turn it off. The unit is well-designed, and compact. The digital clock is a good size. I do wish it was backlit so it would be easier for old eyes to read, If you're single or the single coffee drinker in the house, this is a good unit and you can't go wrong for the price.

It's very handy to be able to get our coffee ready to brew before going to bed at night and it's great to wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee! And the size is just right for two generous mugfuls. One thing to watch out for--the current time can be reset simply by touching one of the buttons, so you should check that the current time is correct when setting the delayed-brew time.

This coffee maker is nice and compact for a kicthen that has limited counter space. It has a clean and modern look to it. If you are the sole coffee drinker in your home or just want to get away from one of those big bulky coffee machines this is it!

The four-cup coffee maker is just the right size for me in the mornings. It brews fast enough, but certainly not as fast as the Keurig. The quality of the coffee it brews is very good.

This replaced a $100 Cuisinart that was not performing well after only 4 months. So far, so good, it's getting things done with no hassles and no drama, plus it takes up a lot less counter space.
