Mr. Coffee - 4-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker - Black

Great Unit for a 4 cup coffee maker. It stands 9 1/2 inches tall, 6" wide and 8" deep (NOT counting the handle of the pot which sticks out beyond these measurements). Note the photo which displays a 12 cup next to this 4 cup coffee maker and you can see quite a bit of size difference. This is a super little unit if you only want a 4 cup serving. Tucks nicely away. I purchased it for my RV as I wanted something small and convenient. It serves its purpose well.

I bought this to replace my old and beloved or cup Mr. Coffee 4 cup brewer. When you make coffee daily, you get into the habit of using the same amount of scoops and water, etc and get used to it should taste like. When using my usual amount of water and coffee, the coffee was weaker with this new brewer. So I did a side-by-side test with my old brewer and realized that the used grounds from the new coffee maker wasn’t saturated completely with water. Upon inspection, the little shower head in the new brewer is almost half the diameter of the old one, forcing the water right down the middle. I am not sure why they would engineer this way, unless to just save on materials. So I will be giving this coffee maker away and keeping my old one. Also, my old one is about twice as heavy, in the entire bottom is made of metal, where as the new one is only plastic.

I like this coffee maker for easy and quick operation. This unit is small, save space on your counter top and quick brewing time. Also good only for moderate and occasionally coffee drinker lifestyle.

In about four (4) months the top part of the glass rim / lip broke off and cut me slightly. Although you should bye the warranty--I didn't-- the Best Buy store gave me a $10.00 discount off a new one. This was better for all concerned not to deal with the manufacturer warranty process.

Wanted to purchase 4 cup coffee maker instead of using Keurig every time I wanted a cup. Using Keurig gets expensive with K cups. So looked for 4 cup and this was recommended and had $10 off on it. Perfect! Makes 4 cups easily. Similar to that in hotels too. Would recommend this.

I was more of a K Cup type of guy(I previously owned the Keurig - K-Mini K15). That one ALWAYS got clogged without fail. Highly inconvenient, especially if you're not a morning person and NEED your mandatory dose of caffeine in the morning. The K Cups are also no bueno for the environment(pods were not recyclable or biodegradable). I decided to take a risk and try drip coffee. Amazing. This machine is as simple as it gets. Put in your filter(sold separately). Put in the amount of coffee you need. Put in the amount of water you need. Close it. Hit a button. And wait(a little...I promise). An added plus is that it is easy to take apart when it comes time to clean. I definitely recommend this product if you want an easy, affordable coffee maker.

Honestly, when I was shopping around online for a programmable coffee maker machine, this model couldn't be further from my radar. However, when I saw that I could combine the sale price with a coupon, I immediately purchased it out of convenience for $10.00. When it arrived, it was like taking an Easy Bake toy out of the box, and every time I use it I feel like I am using something out of child's play. It's cute. It really works great, I love the programmable feature that gets the coffee brewing and ready just before I wake up. Also, I love that it makes just enough coffee to fill my travel thermos for the day. Just prep your favorite coffee and your good to go. Hope this review helps. If you have space for this in your office, I would highly recommend it as well if you're a coffee enthusiast wanting your own personal machine.

This is an excellent 4-cup coffee maker from Mr. Coffee. I needed to replace my older 4-cup Mr. Coffee and found this perfectly-sized black one at an excellent price (~$20). In addition to its compact size and acceptably hot brew, the timer, pause brew, visible water level, and no-drip features are an added plus. The only suggestion (to Mr. Coffee) is to incorporate a removable water tank. Other than that, this is perfect, inexpensive, and space-saving coffee maker.
