One of the best laptops for the price. pros: light weight rgb keyboard good performance no throttling Best keyboard good selection of i/o ports cons: Bad trackpad only 60Hz screen not good battery life

After spending weeks (no, probably months) deciding on which laptop to purchase, and going back and forth over technical specs, research, videos, print reviews etc, the day finally came to pick one up. It was important to me that the laptop have an 8th gen Intel processor, at least a GTX 1060 GPU, and an SSD + hard drive. What I didn't know was that I would be buying an MSI, and I am so glad I did! It's sleek, fast, powerful, and very fun to use (thanks to the excellent Steel Series keyboard and RGB programmable keyboard mapping). MSI really hit one out of the park with this offering, and I will absolutely be looking first at MSI when the time comes to buy one yet again.

Comfortable, light, and powerful gaming laptop. It gets very hot for your lap but it doesn’t affect performance. Well done MSI! This laptop has changed my negative opinion of the brand

My previous laptop died on me, and I'm such a tech addict that I had to get a new one immediately, and I'm glad I did! I love the colorful keyboard the most, Look a the spec, this laptop had everything I needed, including Bluetooth which my last laptop didn't have! Highly recommended for work or play.

I love this computer. I got it for school. I need to create models, maps, and very detailed pictures and it handles it no problem. When I'm done with school I can hop on one of my favorite games and it handles it like no other. I love using this over my desktop because now I don't have to sit at my desk to play or watch a movie. Would highly recommend this for any projects or any gamer, video and picture editor. You'll love how light it is compared to other computers in this category. Skipped over the ASUS because of the weight.

Years ago I built my own rigs for gaming, but I got tired of always building and upgrading so I switched to console gaming. I needed a new laptop and I noticed that gaming laptops had come a LONG way in power and price drops. I watched a boat load of reviews on YouTube and decided to get this laptop. Could not be happier. Boots in about 10 seconds and shuts down a little faster. I am playing a HEAVLY moded Fallout 4 with maxed settings with ZERO lag at 60fps. It is so thin and lite. I will agree with most of the reviewers that the touch pad is not that great, but that is really my only complaint. Let's face it if you are gaming you are not using the touch pad anyway.

It runs really smooth. My only complaints are, the display colors aren't that great, they're really ugly compared to an OLED UHD display. The speakers hurt my ears. They are at the bottom and it wasn't a great decision. Wish they were on top of the display like the Surface series. Really light laptop! Runs multiple tasks like a breeze

Laptop is great for school. It is not as heavy as other gaming laptop. It is pretty thin compared to others. Love the screen, and the keyboard. Runs really well and fast. Overall amazing

Bought this laptop based on the advice of the sales rep at Best Buy. Very satisfied with the performance, graphics, appearance and ease of use of the laptop. I was looking to buy a different laptop, but am glad I listened to the recommendation of the Best Buy sales representative. I have only had the laptop for a few weeks, but am certain I made the right choice. I would definitely recommend this laptop as a quality product.

The MSI GS63 Stealth is an excellent choice for a more budget, but still powerful gaming laptop currently available. The GS63 features a modern day 8th Gen Intel i7 processor with a GTX 1060 GPU. In other words, it packs a lot of punch for a 5 pound, 15 inch laptop. The built-in full Steelseries keyboard is very nice to use, even to someone used to very tactile mechanical keyboards. The laptop also has an SD Card reader and an Ethernet port, something that my original choice, the Asus Zephyrs exclusive to Best Buy doesn’t contain at all. I mentioned in the summary possible dealbreakers, so let’s address those. They all stem from the screen; first of all, it’s only 60hz, meaning that it won’t look as smooth as comparable laptops. Second, the color balance on the screen is extremely weird. Blues look super saturated compared to other colors, and none of the screen modes on MSI’s “Dragon Center” could fix it. In other words, this is a laptop for GAMING, look elsewhere for photo editing. Overall, I’d rate this laptop a 4/5. I’d recommend looking to the GS65 Stealth Thin instead, unless like me you absolutely MUST have a full keyboard.

Needed a laptop that would allow for VR development, heavy video rendering and music creation. This laptop is no slouch: boots quick with no bogging regardless the quantity of programs running. Only quirk I have is about the placement of the Windows key to the right side of the keyboard.

Today I walked into the store in hope to find a good laptop for my projects with a good price, and with this new laptop that’s exactly what I found. Fast, light and powerful!

I bought it about 2 month back. I chose it between several gaming laptops(Lenovo Yoga and Asus Republic of Games). I'm happy with this laptop. Dimensions are great. Not to big, full size keyboard, wide screen(great picture). Asus was bigger, Lenovo was with small keyboard(and video card was Ti 1050). Pros: Very fast as for Gaming and work as well. Cons: the touch pad is outdated. Guys, for 1500 $ it can be better like all new laptops has. I used to work without mouse before but on this laptop you definitely need mouse. P.S: Still don't know how to customize light on keyboard. Need find someone video probably.

I have bought this laptop in Bestbuy in physical store, so I can have a try before I buy it. The speed is quick and the picture is clear and bright. Compared with others, this laptop is suitable cost performance.

I've only had this laptop for a week and absolutely love it. It's fast, easy to use, and has beautiful graphics and sound. The lighting keyboard is also a great touch.

I bought this computer because I needed something that could run graphics intensive applications like Substance Painter, and this computer can do that and more! Some things that I would like to point out is its weight, and keyboard. For a college student like me, I really appreciate that the laptop is only about 4.5 pounds. The keyboard feels great to the touch, and has plenty of room. Minor issues would be that the audio quality coming from the laptop isn't that great, and that touchpad does not feel that smooth. I would say that the pros definity outweigh the cons, and this computer is a great buy.

I was looking for a computer mostly for school, since i going to a I.T. school. After researching for a long time MSI was my best option. i7 8th generation won't disappoint you, plenty RAM and Storage space. SSD to make your Windows fasters and HD for storage space. Top of the line Video Card that makes everything goes smooth. Great price, great quality, beautiful product and super reliable. It is a gaming laptop but also it is excellent for everything else. Thanks MSI for making such a great product, in such a great price. From the boxing to the end, everything is just perfect. Regards.

Light, Easy to type, fast, and affordable. I would recommend this laptop to anyone that wants high quality visuals with a adaptive keyboard controlling system.

I was looking for a gaming laptop for my grandson to play on. I spent hours doing research on different ones and asking pro gamers for advice and they kept steering me back to his one. It has all the bells and whistles. It’s fast and functions very well. It’s way beyond my abilities to game on it but my grandson says it’s perfect. As for doing regular computer work, it’s marvelous. Again fast and very functional. I’m in love with the keyboard you can program to light up different ways...I’d highly recommend this whether your gaming or for just normal everyday work.

I was looking for a laptop or desktop that could do everyday tasks efficiently and at the same time play games. I looked at the the Alienware Aurora R7 desktop, IMac 21.5 inch screen, and Macbook Pro 15 inch. All three of seemed overpriced and limited in some way. The reason I ended up choosing the MSI GS63 Stealth was because of the specs, price, and some what portability. It works nicely for what I need and plays games like a desktop would. I had an issue when I updated Windows 10 to version 1803, however after downloading the INTEL and NVIDIA drivers, everything worked well.
