This is a great gaming PC as you would expect from MSI. It has two video cards one for gaming and one for when you're not which helps to greatly reduce power consumption when surfing. It is thin and light and easy to travel with. I would recommend keeping a felt cloth between the screen and keyboard while traveling to keep the screen from getting scuffed while moving around or a screen protector. I did have to send it away to be repaired at 8 months after the touch-pad collapsed in the lower left hand corner. I'm not sure if the child or the manufacturer was to blame. While gaming the upper left side (graphics card) exhaust and chassis gets very hot. If you are using this on your lap you must get a lap-desk. The power adapter also heats up pretty good too. I have the previous year's MSI gaming laptop as well and would recommend both.

We did a lot of research before purchasing this computer. Considering price & features, this is the best value and it is perfect for gamers. So far, we've loved this computer. My son reminds me (on a daily basis) how much he loves the speed & efficiency of this computer. He is using it for coding, gaming, school work & streaming. So far, it seems very durable (as far as computers go) and very light, especially compared to other gaming computers. Best feature is it does not get hot. I definitely recommend this for any user who wants to code, game, stream & do more.

My wife loves the rainbow keyboard. I love the graphics, how quick it responds, and the fact it's not too heavy. I will be buying another for her.

The keyboard feels amazing and the thin bezel screen makes it look sharp. The performance so far is incredibly fast and I have little or no lag. The track pad needs some getting use to and can use some improvements in future revisions. Speakers are loud and clear for most casual uses. Overall for the price tag, which is fair for the specs you are getting, I believe this is a great laptop for high performance tasks. I mainly use this laptop for 3D CAD modeling, running programs such as FEA and MATLAB along with daily tasks for school, work and browsing the web.

had my eyes on the ROG Asus GU501 originally but as i see this side by side with the spec sheet, i got swayed into buying my first ever gaming laptop. Everything are on point with this laptop, from the looks, feel and overall quality of the item. not to mention the extra 128gb of ssd over the GU501. a very light laptop to carry around, the intel i7 is lightning fast, trackpad feels like a fresh waxed car. im super stoked with my purchased. the speaker need to be louder, fan can get a little noisy but it is bearable. team MSI!

I just purchased this msi computer and it is more than fantastic it is lighting speed and plus it has 256GB SATA(Solid State Drive) as well a 1TB Hard drive. This computer is a monster! I would definitely buy it again if I had to!

I've been shopping around for a good gaming machine for quite some time. This model is very powerful yet very portable and affordable. GE Force GTX 1060 with 6G or dedicated DDR5! Both SSD and a high speed HDD, 8th generation i7. It's got it all. I had a little bit of a concern with fans starting while not being used for anything heavy like gaming but apparently it was caused by all system updates going on the background. Once Windows and all auxiliary software caught up on updates it became quite. Highly recommended!

I have been a Mac guy for almost 20 years but this laptop changed my mind. We needed a laptop for school and they wouldn't allow any Macs so we did our research and found this MSI. I didn't think a "gaming" computer would be a good fit for a college student to actually do school work on but I am starting to change my mind. There was not a ton of Bloat-ware on this machine. It was very easy to setup but not so simplistic that someone with IT knowledge would be bored with. So far it has been extremely fast and smooth.

I am really loving this laptop. The performance is great! I have ran every game I have wanted to so far without any issue. I have been mainly playing Forza Motorsport 7 and its pretty demanding but runs like a champ. The backlighting customization is a great feature. I love being able to change the patterns and colors. I could go on and on about this laptop and I can only speak for myself but I will be a MSI customer for life. The compact size and killer performance is the perfect combination for me.

I did a little research before coming into best buy. My wife and I each intending on purchasing a laptop. I picked the MSI Stealth as the reviews were quite good. I believe the laptop performs better than the reviews I had seen. This thing boots up extremely fast, and plays most games with graphics all the way up to high. I couldn't be more satisfied. Will be telling my wife to get this same laptop as well.

I bought my G63 Stealth thinking I was getting a decent laptop to take with me for work. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this thing flys! It took me less than 2 hours to install my entire Steam library plus all my other games and programs. The Steelseries keyboard had me typing full speed in no time with no learning curve, touchpad is a little fickle but I can get used to it, I came from a touchpad with actual buttons. 1060 is the perfect compromise between power and battery.

I wouldn’t consider myself a gamer, but I do enjoy playing the Sims in my free time. Mostly I need my laptop for school. This laptop loads the Sims in seconds. It does get warm, but the cool burst fan works well although the fan does get loud.

Used primarily for video editing, school and gaming, no lag, high def. Pros portability, capability, price, great keyboard.

I purchased this MSI computer last May for video and also because my other one was outdated and very slow. This computer is the BEST laptop I have purchased to date! My last Dell was an amazing computer, but it was an Icore3 and not adequate for video. This is an incredible computer and it is not just for gaming; although I am certain you will love that as well. All the functionality, speed, ease of use and it's one beautiful laptop to bout! You won't go wrong with MSI.

this thing blazes through after effects much faster than the top end mb pro that is over 1k more in price. msi is a great deal! and i really wanted to stick with windows so i'm very happy with this product

I know little to nothing about gaming laptops. I was recommended this item from a friend who knows way more than i do. Programs run smooth and looks very appealing. Will update my review after more use.

After looking around and browsing through numerous sites for the best laptop to bring to college, the MSI GS63 Stealth was a perfect computer for both work and gaming on the go. The laptop the minute booted up provides excellent speed due to the 256GB SSD and can hold loads of information from my previous laptop due to the 1TB HDD. The screen is standard 1080p., which is fine for the size, but you can project on a 4k monitor for better rez, but it does affect framerate if you want to play above low settings. The IPS screen is perfect for watching movies on with your friends and the RGD Steelseries keyboard definitely "steels" the show with the bright rainbow-like lights that illuminate the whole of the keyboard.

I've owned this laptop for more than a year and a half. It plays most games on Very high or Epic settings (Unreal). It gets hot, but it will do anything I ask of it. The only 'problem' I have is with the Chrome web browser. It will black out sometimes when in full screen. that's very anoying. It has something to do with Nvidea - I've been looking for a solution for almost as long as I've owned the laptop.

Very fast and can run CSGO and PUBG with no problems. It does get hot fast but it does not seem to be a problem.
