This laptops graphics is beautiful and the light up keyboard is fun. It runs ever game i have thrown at it in style!

When I first unboxed the laptop, I was disappointing in how sluggish it was for an SSD drive with the 8th gen cpu. Then I found the power settings, and see it was dumbed down for optimal battery life. Flip it to performance, and it takes off like a rocket. The keyboard lighting is pretty cool, even though I didnt' buy it for that. You can change the color for any key, and have preset gaming lighting if you want it. It gets more colorful than I care for... try the disco mode and you will see what I mean... It is comically awesome. I have only had this for a week, but once i turned the power up, it is a great laptop. I can play PBUG just fine too. I use it for video editing, and it is pretty fast at that with the 1060 gtx card. I am used to a 17 inch laptop, but went smaller this time around because of the weight. Not too bad getting used to the smaller keyboard. Over all. Great laptop. Not cheap, but if you want it to do what you need, and play high impact games, this is a very good choice.

I was looking mainly for a computer that could be a portable version of my desktop. I was originally looking at an asus laptop, but my friend told me to go more for msi especially for their cooling. I really enjoy the nice design of the laptop and it definitely feels sturdy as well as the fact that they have a velvet like finish on the bottom that prevents you from getting burned while using the laptop. That being said i would still put the laptop down on a flat surface when gaming because i never know how hot it is going to get. As for performance, this things is really good ,i have been wanting to be able to play overwatch with my girlfriend and was finally able to at high setting and being smooth. As for battery life, gaming and high performance wise maybe 1 to 2 or 3 hours at the most. When going on power saving mode, a good 5 to 6 hours which is really nice. Overall i would say if you're looking to find a nice gaming laptop for a good price, this is the laptop for you.

the laptop is very light weight the speed is great. I do not use this for gaming but for business because of the fast speed.

Laptop was perfect except for one thing. Best Buy had told me it came with Windows 10 Pro, but it had Windows 10 Home; Best Buy credited me the price of the upgrade so I could upgrade to pro. It's fast, it has everything I hoped and I would buy it again in a minute. Great deal for the price.

I am a deep learning enthusiast and I wanted something which is portable and good to run some experiments for which I dont want to spend bucks on servers like AWS etc. This laptop is powered by a GTX 1060 6gb and is light weight. For someone like me , its an excellent investment.

Laptop seems to work really well, but trackpad is hard to click. Performance and build quality are good however.

The laptop is good, sleek it lets me easily game and I can run the game at 60 FPS. Its so light I can carry it to work

I was looking for a traditional laptop for my excel macros and couldn't find one that improved on my xps13 i5 16gb I bought two years ago. the msi is the only one that had the speed I wanted...gaming laptops for business work great...and I don't even play games on it. thanks.

After my previous Lenovo laptop became unable to stay on for more than 30 minutes without overheating, I decided to give MSI a try. Laptop has been amazing so far with a great keyboard, good power for the form factor, and it's able to run anything I throw at it. Great laptop.

I absolutely love the laptop. Runs games great with few issues. Only things I feel need to be mentioned are the following two issues. Issue #1 is that sometimes you have to manually edit the nvidia control panel settings so your game will actually use the gtx 1060 instead of auto selecting the intel graphics. Issue #2 is that the fans can get really loud under heavy use. At least this offsets the heat and I've never experienced the laptop getting too hot.

Usually I get migraines from the blue light of LED lighting in computers, etc. This laptop, however, has a mat screen and some other lighting configuration, which is much easier on my eyes. It is also much faster that my old laptops, so I am very pleased with it.

I purchased this laptop mainly for Solidworks as I wanted something that wouldnt freeze and kill my pocketbook. Plays games extremely in the highest settings. I love the steelseries keyboard controls games are easy set up and a bunch of game keys are already presaved.

I wanted to hold off and just save my money to build a desktop but I broke my school laptop so I quickly needed another. The reviews on this were great so I researched it a bit more to make my final decision. I have not looked back since. This was well worth the money.

Having to travel for my job while also being a pc gamer is difficult, but this laptop was able to play all my favorite games with no problem, all at a solid 60 fps, from destiny 2 to far cry 5 i havent had any problems with performance at all. Would highly recommend.

Just purchased this laptop & I love it so far! You can customize the keyboard back lighting however you want & sync it up to programs, or in my case, games. The screen is very good quality; bright & colorful. Games run smooth. I have no complaints so far. Great laptop!

I use Adobe suite - in and out of Photoshop, Premiere, Audition and more, and this computer handles it all with no delay. Fast powerful and reliable. Keyboard is a little confusing to customize but awesome when you figure it out and always gets people's attention

This computer is so light and so fast! It starts up in less than 30 seconds. The keyboard has good response. The touch pad is a little stiff but other than that it is on point. The screen looks great. It opens programs fast too. The fans are pretty quiet too.

This is one of the best laptop I’ve ever had for the price amazingly fast color resolution is gray speed is gray has yet to give me any glitches or lags I definitely would recommend this for somebody that’s on a budget that needs a great gaming laptop

The laptop holds up really well with current graphic extensive games like Overwatch, and Call of Duty. The laptop is a solid build with no bend on the panel and on the keyboard. Highly recommend for a gamer and a content creator that's wants a budget laptop.
