Purchased this laptop for college student in September by March the fan has warped and had to be sent in for warranty replacement. Tip put one of those cooling fan to help this laptop.

This laptop is good for students who want to game, study and game at the same laptop.

A very solid laptop choice! I am going to college, so I was looking for something with a small form factor, decent battery(about 5 hours) and good performance. This laptop checks all of these boxes and I'm proud to say it. Pros: Thin and light. Laptop fits comfortably in my backpack and isnt a burden to move around, unlike most laptops. Keyboard. Solid keyboard all around, I like the feel and responsiveness Performance. Stellar 6 core 8750H and GTX 1060 were netting me 100 FPS on BF1 low. Screen. Has a solid 60hz IPS screen(this is a minor drawback, but personally doesn't bother me too much) with good colors and a decent viewing angle, much better than the old best buy model with a TN panel. Cons: Build quality. Kind of average to say the least. The lid and screen are well done, but the actual body has creaks and flexes in some spots, as if these places weren't fastened very well. However, the body is mostly aluminum(and attracts fingerprints, like all MSI laptops it seems). This laptop has a decent amount of bloatware. Enough that I ended up just reinstalling windows 10 to remove it all. Who knows how much battery I'm saving. The trackpad is very finicky to say the least and takes some getting used to. Also takes a lot of pressure to click things, but I prefer the tap anyways. The trackpad also has some responsiveness issues on occasion. MSI needs to work on their trackpads as they're always pretty underwhelming. If something wasn't listed in the pros or cons, it was more or less as I'd expect from a laptop in this range and wasn't particularly noteworthy in either direction. I've had this laptop for about a week and aside from a few minor gripes, am very pleased with it!
