Very good specs. MSI's laptops tend to be a little buggy. I think it is there software. but overall a nice solid laptop

Really quiet out of the box. Great wi fi if you have fast speeds. And it can hold up to 90 percent of games in 2018

GREAT Laptop for gaming with out the gaming looks

I originally purchased this laptop to have something that could compete my Macbooks, as they have reached their lifecycle. I did not want to go out and spend 2k on a Macbook with subpar performance and graphics. So I ventured back into the world of Windows laptops. After reading countless reviews and seeing this notebook in person, I decided to go with it. As under the 2k mark nothing even comes close to this thing in terms of design and hardware specs. I wanted a gaming laptop that did not have all the tacky designs like the majority of them. I wanted to use this for school and casual gaming as I have my own rig. HOWEVER, after playing a few games on this thing (Siege, PUBG, COD beta, and others) I really enjoyed how it could handle the games. I'll find my self playing on this laptop almost as often as I do on my rig (evga 1080 SC2, SSD, 8th gen i5). So that should speak alot about how this thing performs if I like playing on this with a rig with those specs. Pros: -great design -great keyboard -constantly get 60 FPS -i7 allows great multitasking ability -the software that comes on is impressive (nahmic, steel series, etc..) -battery life is great (easy 3 hours on a charge while not in eco mode) Cons: -as a laptop it does get hot (seen temps up to 90c while gaming) -construction could be stronger -mouse is terrible for everyday use (just use a wired or wireless) Overall, if you are in the market for a gaming pc that keeps a professional work with mighty spec under the 2k mark, this is the one for you. I use it for gaming, school, and occasional coding. I have not found anything this laptop can not handle. I do suggest a cooling pad and a wireless mouse as it does get hot and the mouse is subpar in daily use. Do i regret my choice over other laptops such as the helios? NO. Would buy again? YES. Great laptop, crushes my top of the line Macbook with ease.

The laptop is good for gaming. However, it's still a laptop and cannot handle the best graphic sometimes.

This is my second MSI laptop and have to say it's as impressive as the first. For the price, I think you'd be hard bound to find any contenders in the same realm of graphical or processing performance and definitely won't find anything with the same sleek, ultra-thin aesthetic. I'll start with the cons because the list is short. Battery life, as with all of my gaming model laptops, is subpar. Performing simple operations such as writing a review on BestBuy.com tends to drain the battery as quickly as playing Resident Evil 7. Maybe there is some tweaking I need to do but honestly, I always use my charger anyway so it's no big deal for me. Secondly, I have had a couple Wi-Fi connectivity issues. Nothing major but occasionally it drops or doesn't want to find my network. This is a rare occurrence and again, no big deal to me since I almost always use the hard line. That about wraps up my qualms with this PC so far. Onto the good stuff... I'll get the obvious out of the way first; this thing is a powerhouse of a 15.6 inch laptop. With a hex-core 2.2ghz processor and 6gb GTX1060, there is little you can't accomplish. I can play almost any game I own (CoD, Dead Rising 4, Doom, Dying Light, RE7, Skyrim, the list goes on and on) with maxed out graphics with little to no performance hit. Add to that a list of VR games including Roomscale 360 (yeah, it rocks VR setups too). Apart from it's excellent specs and performance, this thing simply looks cool. Its super lightweight design and super slim profile makes it a breeze to carry from place to place and the illuminated keyboard is always an awesome touch. All in all, if you are looking for a seriously portable gaming rig that is pleasing to the eye and won't completely beak the bank, I would 100% recommend the MSI GS63.

I was in the market for a thin and light gaming laptop that I could also use at school. This laptop is very portable and will not break your back. It weights just 4lbs and I could not be more happier with it. It also plays the latest AAA titles and can pretty much do anything you throw at it. I do wish the track-pad right click was more fluid though. This is a great buy because you get a GTX 1060 256bg ssd and a 1TB HHD. The laptop is sleek and thin in design as well. Overall i'm glad I chose this, it checked all the boxes! I highly recommend getting this!

The MSI GS63 STEALTH-010 is an absolute beast in the performance department. I use it primarily for web development and my webpack build times are more than 3x faster than my Dell XPS 13! Gaming performance is also great. I didn't think I would like the RGB keyboard but it is actually pretty cool. The only downside is that the fans get pretty loud under load, however this is to be expected for such a high performance machine. The form factor is also great, it is thin, not too heavy, and not too large. The screen is very bright, even, and fast.

    GREAT LAPTOP FOR EVERYTHING

This laptop is replacing my old Argus laptop that was moving about as fast as paint drys. After researching for a couple of weeks I finally decided to go with this laptop. I have to say it is one of the best laptops I have ever bought! To begin, this laptop has a nice design to it. Plus the laptop is quit thin and only weighs around 4 lbs. This is perfect for me because I bring it everywhere. This laptop is equipped with a GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5, 16 GB of DDR4 memory @2400Mhz, an 8th generation Intel i7-8750H, 256 M.2 SSD Storage, and an 1TB SATA HDD at 5200 RPM. This laptop, with the new next gen. Intel processors, is powerful enough to handle just about any games and intense programs at ultra settings 1080p @60Hz (yes the screen is only 60 Hz). As far as ports go, the laptop has a decent selection of ports. There are images displayed above for the product showing the ports. No USB-C though, but it does have three USB-3.1 Ports and one USB-2.0 port. It also has a thunderbolt 3 port. I really like the SteelSeries Engine 3. Its is a program that allows you to manage, synchronize, Iand configure any devices that are compatible with the engine, offers a suite of applications that you can configure to interact with your SteelSeries devices, and even allows you to configure custom device configurations for any game that you add to the Engine’s Library—even software you downloaded from Steam. The RGB Keyboard on the laptop is completely customizable in this engine, and comes preinstalled with the following configurations: Aqua, Chakra, Default, Disable, Disco, Drain, Free Way, and Plain. If you wanted to you can also create your own customizable preset, which will be added to the list of the already existing presets, and all presets can be deleted, renamed, and saved and infinite amount of times. This is a very powerful tool to really personalize the laptop and really make it your own. If your looking for a laptop that has it all, small, light, power full, and at a good price then don't look any further.
