I really like what this laptop has to offer, the processor and graphics card are capable of running a VR (which I have yet to do on this laptop), and due to it being able to run VR, the laptop plays some of the more demanding games on higher graphics settings and while I'm not someone who thinks "graphics make the game", they do offer a better experience to the player, and this laptop delivers that quite nicely. The 16GB of RAM also helps greatly with the processor and graphics card. The laptop comes with quite a bit of storage too at 1 full terabyte of HDD with an extra 256 gigabytes of SSD for anyone who wants to further optimize anything within that storage. Another cool feature that comes with this (that I honestly got a lot of curious eyes over) is the full RGB blacklit keyboard that steelseries made when partnering with msi, the SteelSeries engine (what you use to customize the keyboard) comes with a bunch of default settings that you can choose from and even allows you to customize some of your own settings into it! The audio of the laptop is also quite nice, DYNAUDIO did an excellent job at creating powerful speakers that provide for more immersive sounds and lack the need of any extra external speakers, Nahimic 3 also provides impressive audio immersion that allows you good control over music and videos as well as provide a 3D surround sound experience for pretty much any game you play. Another component that's built into it is the fan, there are 3 settings: basic, advanced, and cooler boosted, you can also change the monitors RGB settings and overall performance to further enhance any game you wish, both of these (as well as many other options) are apart of the MSI Dragon Center which gives off more customization to the user. All of these things combined offer for a great and intuitive way to play, and as someone who's also interested in becoming a game developer, having all these tools in my hand offer for creating my very own games that I could even test out on this laptop, especially when I'm on the go. The only criticism I have of this is its low battery life, most cases it can last up to 4 hours on a full charge, if you were to fully utilize its performance with the Dragon Center then it could last as little as 1 hour, I feel like it's more than worth the sacrifice for this laptop however, so I'd recommend an msi GS63 Stealth to anyone who can grab their hands onto one.

The fan's little too loud and heats up like a toaster but what can I expect from a gaming laptop. It is really fast and slim and I like it so far. I didn't actually buy the laptop for it's original purpose, gaming, Only complaints I have is the fan noise and keyboard backlight is little too bright but that's changeable. Overall it is a Great computer.

I have never had such a thin light laptop with so much gaming power. I am glad that I chose this as my new PC. The light up keys are very beautiful. I have always used steelseries keyboards so the fact that the laptop has one built in was exciting. I like that this model has a number pad considering it is a small screen compared to many gaming laptops. I have had no issues or flaws with the set up. I can safely say this is my smoothest running PC to date.

I have been searching the market for a gaming laptop for quite a while. My goal was to find a laptop with performance high enough to support my business operations. My business requires fast execution speed with running multiple applications at once and projecting on at least three monitors with no lag. In addition, my son, who is a serious gamer, wanted to use the laptop. Therefore, a gaming laptop was an absolute necessity. Needless to say that I did ton of research in trying to identify the best of the best on the market. I didn't want to spend more than $2k on a laptop, but at the same time didn't want to compromise quality and high performance. First, I settled on Lenovo Legion Y530 laptop and ordered it on the official manufacturer's website. After waiting for about 10 days and constantly checking the status of the order I found out that the laptop has not been shipped yet! And that is in era of Ecommerce, when competitors like Amazon, can deliver the product in as little as 2 days with prime subscription. I cancelled my order and started checking the option where I could order online and pick up the product at the store. That is when I went to bestbuy.com and found MSI G63 Stealth laptop, which qualified under the student deal providing $100 discount on the full price of the laptop. I have read a ton of positive reviews about MSI products and that they are arguably the best gaming laptop manufacturer on the market. However, the price on this product has always exceeded my budget. So I decided to go ahead, pay the premium and try it out for myself (the student discount obviously helps). I absolutely do not regret the decision made. From the very first time of opening the box, you can tell that you bought a luxurious product. Every little detail is thought through by the manufacturer. It's like buying a premium product that increases your social status after the purchase. It's lightning speed and slick design should satisfy even the most picky customer. I can run multiple applications, search the web and stream videos at the same time on my multiple screens with absolutely no lag! I definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a laptop with high performance. Treat yourself with this product. You deserve it!

I am a college student who will be transferring up to UCSC for the fall semester for the remainder of my college career. Due to the fact that I will be living on Campus, I will not be able to bring my tower with me to the dorm rooms and as a result, I was in desperate need of a laptop that was small enough to bring with me, yet packed a big enough punch to handle my games. This laptop fit my needs perfectly. Not only is the design beautiful, but it is reasonably priced for the amount of stress that it can handle. I am extremely impressed with this laptop and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to purchase something that is within a reasonable budget.

Excellent well rounded laptop for anyone who wants the functionality of a gaming PC on-the-go. It runs smoothly even when running demanding programs such video editing software and games. The keyboard can be fully customized and is extremely comfortable to type with. The battery life is not amazing but it's enough to last you a few hours of light activity. I would highly recommend this laptop especially if you're not a fan of most of the large gaming laptops on the market! The MSI GS63 Stealth is comparatively thin and lightweight making it nice and portable (something you should expect of a laptop, but not something we see with other laptops with similar specs).

The GS 63 Stealth 10 is amazing in itself. Perfect for gaming and anything you need to do. its great for school because it small enough to carry around from class to class, without actually looking like you're gaming PC, which i personally love. And since the battery is big, i normally don't even need to charge it until all my classes are finished. Also, its incredibly powerful for it's size, I was surprised when it didn't slow down when i had 3 HUGE games playing at once. This is just my dream laptop. 100% would recommend!

I purchased this laptop on an impulse and, luckily, have no regrets! It's everything I wanted in a gaming laptop: solid graphics card, long-lasting battery, plenty of disk space, and a snappy processor. The only negatives I have so far are the placement of the track pad (wish it was more central), and the number of stickers I had to peel off of it. I don't need to know that the laptop I just bought is PCMAG consumer recommended. One surprising thing that I love about it so far is the Steelseries keyboard. The keys feel great when typing, it includes a full number pad, and the lights are a neat touch. 5/5 would recommend as an impulse purchase.

This is a great laptop for the price that you are getting it for. The brand new 8th gen intel processors are great and give amazing performance on a machine like this and the GTX 1060 gives you just enough power to game comfortable with demanding titles on the go. The keyboard is also very responsive and very comfortable to type which makes it good for somebody that spends most of their day typing. I am also using this laptop as my main driver for school and I have been impressed by the battery life given that it is a gaming pc, so far I am getting around 8 hours on a single charge which is great. Overall I don't have any complaints with this laptop.

It is lighter than I expected, I really like the flashing light when I am using the keyboard. The graphics are excellent. Great style and size. Good for work and school as well.

After a lot of research and comparing features and prices, I decided to buy the GS63 for my son's first year in college. The specs are above what he needed, but I figured he could use the computer on he's free time as well for high-res games (I'm a hardcore gamer myself, ahah). I've been a loyal Dell consumer for years, but I was very disappointed by the last 2 alienwares I bought. They cost more than the MSI, but are not reliable for the high price Dell charges. I tried the MSI for a few hours and can tell it is a much better machine, well built, very small, light, and powerful at the same time. The 256GB SSD drive is a huge plus.

I just bought this laptop and right out of the box I was impressed with the look and feel. It is solidly built, pleasing to the eye and quiet! Performance is even better...it's easy to set up and it's FAST!!! I was also looking for a machine where I could increase the amount of RAM to give it a longer life. The laptop came with 16GB RAM out of the box but is expandable up to 32GB. Just what I was looking for. I also love having 2 disks. My expectations for this laptop were high and after just a few hours of use, I believe this laptop is going to meet all of them. I'll update my review after a few months of usage.

This laptop was the laptop I chose for college after months of research and deliberation. I have no regrets at all. The bootup is super fast, there is ample storage for games, notes, slideshows, anything you need, on a super fast SSD. The display is bright and good, the keys are nice and have a good distance per stroke, but not bulky or invisible. I love the feel of the keys. The 1060 gives out spectacular FPS for being a laptop and it outshines the Razer in almost every way, including not falling apart. Made of aluminum it feels sturdy, but not heavy. The perfect laptop for gaming, and portability on a budget.

If you’re reading reviews to help make your decision, the decision has been made. Buy it! This laptop is overkill for what I do but I feel it pays off when you’re not having to replace laptops every few years. This is the type of product that you almost hate to take out of the plastic! The most aesthetically pleasing laptop I’ve ever owned. I exchanged an HP Spectre 360 for this and it was the right decision! The unit is super quick and it was no where near as hot after initial setup like the HP was. Have not had the product long but look forward to really using it and taking advantage of its abilities!

This computer is simply amazing for the price. The graphics and keyboard is beautiful. the computer runs fast and smoothly. The laptop frame is sturdy and well made. The charging cord is long but not too long that its annoying. The FPS always seems to run perfectly for all of the games that i have tried including Diablo 3 and World of Warcraft! This is a much needed improvement over my previous laptops. The one con i can see to the laptop is the reversed mouse scroll. It's not that it is bad but that it's something that i am going to have to get used to considering it can not be changed in the settings.

I've been using the laptop for a little over a month now and it has been performing as expected after reading other reviews. The performance is great, but the one thing to say is that it gets very hot and loud when running graphics intensive games. Battery life is a little shorter than expected, but that is mainly due to high screen brightness and multiple tabs open. I can get about 6 hours or so with multiple chrome tabs open and brightness a little over halfway. Other than the battery and heat, nothing bad has occurred in using this laptop. As an engineering student this has been working perfectly.

I bought this laptop for my son. It was great for awhile now since it's not working properly of course I cannot get anyone to help me either repair or return it . Tried calling, tried chat and tried email ! no help !!

When I first brought it home, I was excited to open it, and start to play some of my favorite games. The MSI GS 63 Stealth is one of the best computers I have ever had in my opinion. It’s fast, has a lot of storage, the fan is loud but that depends on the setting you have set. I enjoy playing the big games like Arma 3 and the recent fallout game because the graphics are just beautiful, even though it’s a GTX1060. What I really love about the MSI is the Nvidia GeForce Experience Overlay where you can record take screen shots and many more features. It is worth the 1500$ to get...

I'm in college for Graphic design and I stream on twitch so I often have multiple apps open at once so having a laptop that has enough power to run all that at once is a must for me. I got this as a early Christmas present and absolutely love it I've been able to do everything I need for classes and games look amazing on it. I would 100% suggest this laptop. I got the steel series so the build quality is also really well designed and on top of everything the lights on the keyboard add to the look making it look absolutely gorgeous. My friends told me they were jealous lol.
