This laptop is everything I hoped it would be. Snappy keyboard, excellent display, lightweight, with PLENTY of performance (works well for both gaming and the AutoCAD programs I need for my engineering classes. My only gripe with the laptop is that the battery life is a little more lackluster than I would've liked (I end up needing to take the cord with me everywhere), but if you don't mind a constantly quick dying battery, the MSI GS63 Stealth-010 might be perfect for you.

I recently purchased this laptop to use in college. I'm majoring in engineering so I needed something that can run CAD software smoothly. This computer is perfect for my needs as it is lightweight (a must for carrying around campus) and can run all the programs I need for my classes, Not to mention that it can run games perfectly for when you want to have a little down time. The RGB keyboard is also tactile which is very nice for typing documents or playing some games.

The graphics are beautiful and plays games very smoothly (on good wifi of course). I love that you can customize the keyboard colors. The only drawback so far, is that the fan can get tad bit too loud when the graphics card kicks in.

I purchased this as a mobile solution for my VR Headset as the specifications looked to be adequate to run games smoothly. I was not expecting much, as I have a pretty powerful desktop computer and none of my prior gaming laptops could really ever match it's performance. Suffice it to say that my expectations were more than exceeded and for the first time ever I have discovered a laptop that can compete with my gaming desktop! I was originally going to purchase the higher-spec GS65 but I was disappointed to learn that it had a much smaller storage drive and was missing the 10-key element of the keyboard...which limited it's functionality in both games and productivity. That was a poor design choice in my humble opinion, and yet it was fortunate for me as otherwise would not have paid much attention to the GS63. Although this is lacking the higher graphics performance that the 65 would give with its 1070 graphics chip, I am still overwhelmed by how much I can throw at this thing without bogging down it's performance! I guess I should thank MSI for designing this unit in both a price-point and a performance level that fits my needs better than I had imagined. Build quality is very good. The case is solid enough to give me confidence when I am traveling and yet it is light enough and thin enough to want me to take it almost anywhere. The screen is bright and easy to read. My only disappointment is the onboard speakers, but that is not unexpected for a laptop of this size. (if you want good sound, just connect a good pair of headphones) It does handle VR very well and I cannot wait to see how far I can push its capabilities! I highly recommend this to anyone but the absolute most extreme gamer...and even they may love it.

This computer is better than great. Everything is built to perfection and feels solid. I have had no problems with anything about this computer, absolutely none. The fans due tend to whirl up to 6000rpm, which is fairly loud, but keeps the computer cool and allows you to use the laptop... on your lap. Everything also runs as smooth as you would expect a 6-core processor to run. I am very happy that I chose to purchase this laptop because it came out truly great.

I have purchased so many laptops over the years, each one lasting no longer than 2-3 years. I finally decided to purchase a gaming laptop and it’s been probably been my best purchase ever. It runs so fast and the graphics are amazing. I wanted a laptop that was more portable and light and I’ve seen gaming laptops that are very bulky and heavy. This laptop is very thin and light for a gaming laptop which makes it perfect for my school work and portability.

I've had my MSI Stealth for a good month now and I am more than happy with my purchase. As a college student/gamer who's always on the go and has limited desk space(thanks a lot 4lb. math book), a high power laptop was the perfect fit. At the time of purchase I walked into my local best buy, set on buying a Dell G7, however the wonderful staff at my local best buy pointed me towards the MSI Stealth. The things that stood out to me the most was the FULL GTX 1060 GPU, 8th Gen CPU, sleeker design with custom keyboard lighting, SSD and HDD storage, better screen manufacturer, and the substantial weight difference. It was a win win for me. Now, this laptop definitely has a learning curve if you're not used to all the custom settings, but it's achievable user friendly. It's never overheated on me even when playing Fortnite, PUBG, and modded Skyrim on high settings(tabletop, well ventilated room). The screen isn't the best but DEFINITELY NOT the worst I've seen on a laptop. The insides are a bit of a tight squeeze, but still upgradable(might have a shop do it for you). I wish the speakers were positioned better for a louder sound but who doesn't have headphones and/or wireless speakers nowadays. If you're a gamer, it's pretty much required. All in all, it fit the bill for me. Everyone is going to be different, however I don't see you getting much better than this at this very reasonable price range. If you want something more simple and stripped down then go for the Dell, but I'm telling you, this is worth the little bit extra(best buy also offers student discounts for this model). I look at this purchase as the first of many future MSI laptops. You got me hooked for life!

Ok so this laptop is great all around first its not huge compared to some other machines you can get. its got some top of the line components on it and the performance is already overclocked for you out of the factory i returned the dell g7 for this they are comparable machines but this is lighter smaller and does better. For example, the dell is like a ford ok reliable but the MSI is like buying a tesla not out of reach but more car then you need

This laptop has really cool colors on the keypad. It's easy to setup and start using. The graphics and sound card make the laptop viable for a really long time. It's light-weight and thin so it's easy to carry in a backpack for school. As far as the graphics are concerned, it is an amazing experience to game on this laptop. I did a lot of research before buying this laptop and it's a great product at a great price... for gaming and school alike.

I just purchased this laptop and am already incredibly impressed with the boxing, build quality and responsiveness. I am normally a Mac owner but their rising prices are keeping me out of the market. This MSI Gaming laptop fit my price point without sacrificing power or portability. No only does it play games incredibly well it also edits and renders video efficiently and rapidly. I would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

So this computer is actually my first PC computer. For the longest time I was a hardcore Mac user, but when my old macbook pro died I decided to look at other options in the market. Now don't get me wrong I love Mac products, but as a business student, I find their computers to be a bit limiting. PC's are much more compatible with the business programs my classes require, so switching over to a PC made sense. However, I did like to game a bit as well, so I decided to start looking into computers that could also handle some light gaming. Unfortunately, it seems that if I wanted something like that, I'd have to get a better graphics chip, and then there was no guarantee that the games I played would actually handle well. Since gaming computers are MADE for gaming, I decided looking in that direction was the best option. I eventually settled on this computer because of its large memory size and great graphics. Plus, it was smaller and lighter than other gaming computers in the market, but still didn't lack in performance. I also enjoy having the number keypad, as my old mac didn't have this feature. It makes entering numbers into Excel spreadsheets a lot easier and faster. The graphics are great for everyday use, though I did notice some 2D animations didn't look as colorful on this computer as on my Mac, but that's just splitting hairs. The only thing I really dislike about this computer is the track pad. While it is functional, I just found it too difficult to use most of the time and ended up getting a wireless mouse to go along with the computer. Overall though I would totally recommend this computer.

Best computer I have purchased in many years! I really love the speed and truthfully do not use gaming. The workload is much easier with a faster computer and the keyboard makes it fun. The only problem is the rattling noise that might be the hard drive- works but overheating. Glad I purchased the extended warranty with Geek Squad! Repair at no cost- can’t wait to get it back- Totally worth the purchase!

I had to finally purchase my first laptop for both school and to match my job needs as I travel quiet often. I am very happy with my purchase because it is almost as strong as my gaming desktop at home, but this one has the added portability that makes my have an enjoyable gaming experience while I'm out traveling. From its performance to its sleek design. This laptop without a doubt is a SOLID choice in the market.

Hardly used this laptop, and after like 20 uses the main SSD died. really bad quality in my opinion.

I have now been using this computer for a month and have nothing but good things to stay about it. Startup is very quick, keyboard has a great feel and the custom back lit capability is great. Games feel great. I love the build quality it is nice knowing that your casing is not plastic it is very nice, thin, and incredibly light for what is inside. All around great computer and have not had a single issue.

Definitely an overall amazing laptop. The weight of the laptop is quite light and it's thin so it makes it quite easy to travel with. The keys of the keyboard are smooth and the changing colors of the keys are an added bonus. The solid state drive that comes installed in this laptop makes the loading times so much faster. I would definitely recommend this laptop for those who are looking for a gaming laptop.

I'm an engineering student and got this laptop to use for school. It's pretty light and portable and runs the software well. The fans get kind of loud whenever they kick on, but overall that's not too bad. Everything else about it is awesome. I've seen some complaints about the touch pad, but I think it works just fine for what I'm using it for. Also, the light up keyboard is a really cool feature.

I'm a developer by profession and this laptop greatly satisfies the performance requirements to develop software. It comes with the 8th generation i7--which is awesome. Normally, I use a mac for work, but this thing crushes the $2,500 mac book pro we use. There are cheaper laptops, but this one is slim and beautiful. It definitely feels more up to date appearance wise. I’d certainly recommend it!

Very fast. Plenty of space on ssd to put programs i use often. Mainly bought it for CAD/CAM and it runs PTC Creo like a champ. Haven't tried it with Solidworks but I expect it will do fine from what I've seen. Only complaint is that the camera doesn't seem to work right, but I don't really ever use it so it doesn't bother me much. I also am unable to stream my xbox onto the app after I updated the graphics driver, but again not a huge issue. It could be caused by the app itself so I'm not ready to entirely put that on the computer yet. Only had it for three days so theres plenty of time for something to go wrong, but overall I am more than satisfied.

My dad bought me this laptop for college. I'm an art major and wanted something with decent graphics capabilities, and a rainbow keyboard of course. The keyboard is a nice ammenety. The laptop comes installed with some unecessary stuff but its easily removed. It runs fast and is capable of what I need for school, and then some. I'd recommend this for any college kid with a steam account.
