This laptop is absolutely amazing. It is visually stunning to begin with with the keyboard and its graphic display is amazing as well. Its performance is amazing as well it has very good battery life which is a plus. We haven't been able to keep our hands off of it since we got it.

Bought this laptop not for gaming but for everyday usage. Great build quality, speed , looks, and of course the too cool keyboard. Does everything I ask it to do in hyper speed compared to my old laptop. Definitely recommend this rig for everyday users as well and gaming nerds.

This is a fantastic computer. It has a sleek design and works great. It is light weight and can be used anywhere. The battery life is good. It is able to handle all my school work in addition to all my gaming needs. Everything is very simple and straight forward. I love it.

I was pleasantly surprised to see my local best buy had an 8th gen GS63VR in stock when I went to purchase the 7th gen. The new 6 core I7 processor is lightning fast but I do recommend you get rid of all the msi bloatware. Gaming is flawless at 1080p although it does get a little hot. Overall this laptop is everything I thought it would be and I would recommend it to anyone in search of a gaming laptop that occasionally gets used in the office. 9 out of 10, would buy again.

The GS63 seems to be a very good and well built machine, I bought this computer to game with mostly World of Warcraft. When I first read the reviews I saw a lot about the machine getting hot, and was scared to purchase it due to past problems with laptops overheating, but don't let it scare you. It handles the heat just fine and I've had no problems with it, no lag, no frame drops, nothing. The machine is built quite well, and feels very solid you your hand. I also saw some reviews about purples being blue and not really purple. I don't see that at all, the colors look great to me. I also read some about the touch pad sounding loose and not working, i don't see that either. However, I had problems right clicking on it sometimes, but I think its because I'm not used to it yet. Love the keyboard lighting, keeps my kids in a daze watching them. So bottom line if you are on the fence (like i was) about purchasing this computer, just go for.

I love the laptop. It's fast, sleek, and thin/light. Truly a great machine. My only issue is with the trackpad. It takes some getting used to. Since it's a gaming laptop, I assume most people will use an external mouse, and the trackpad is fine once you get used to it.

The laptop itself is very strong and thick, which makes the perfect labtop for the people who concerns for toughness. The computer itself works really well, not just in program or internet but also in gaming. The computer's graphic drive and engine manages work well for the games with top graphics or engines. My cons for labtop would be it would make too much noise when it is heated or run with heavy program and some of the videos aren't work very well.

I purchased this for my son for his birthday and I can't say enough about how great this laptop is. It operates wonderful and flows nice. Even the keys on the keyboard are great for typing. My son can play all his games, with great graphics, a clear screen and no issues.

I would not purchase this laptop. The fan stopped working

I am a student in college currently and a laptop is generally required for classes, and it's important to have one with the best technology in it for the purpose that it should last you over your whole time while attending school. This laptop is guaranteed to last several years as long as you take good care of it. You shouldn't have many hardware or software issues since it contains some of the most up to date technology within it. It's great for streaming videos, movies, doing homework, taking notes, playing games of HIGH POWER, etc. You can pretty much do anything on this laptop. It's super slim, it's super light, and you get a free warranty from MSI after purchase once you register your product! I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a laptop for several uses. I personally love to play games with a computer, and I love to use my computer for school work, and this multi-purpose device is perfect for me!

So, this review is coming from someone who has used it for a couple of weeks. So far the laptop is great. It runs all the games I have thrown at it even a game that was in Beta, Insurgency Sandstorm. To some extent it plays it better than my PC. Not only that but the loading times for windows are great. Seconds from starting your computer you're already doing some tasks. That SSD really does do wonders. Not only that but they even include a full terabyte hard drive. Great for storing school files, games, and more. Also awesome customization RGB keyboard. Would I recommend it? Yea, I mean if you're looking for something cheaper than most of the laptops with similar performance, I would definitely recommend this beast. That 1060 is more than enough to handle modern games, even intense ones at high-medium settings. Not only that, but that 8th gen i7 (hexa core) comes in clutch.

I replaced my desktop with this laptop because I needed something a little more portable. I'm able to do everything my desktop did with no issues. Its got great speed, its not your normal bulky gaming laptop, and the keyboard feels great. I love it so far.

I wanted to replace my Asus that I've had for about four years now. Every time a Windowns update rolled by, the mousepad would lose its multitouch function and the mousepad pop out after few years. Also the whole laptop became slower and slower. At first i was looking for Alienware or Razer. But I wanted a decent computer I can play a few games on, run reliably, and be able to use it for work and most importantly its not heavy. this is the best choice This is a good MSI gaming laptop. Yes, you can change each key on the keyboard to be different colors. The charging cable is nice and long (about 10 feet) but weights nearly half the weight of the computer. The computer itself is super thin and smaller than my Asus. My friend watched me set it up last week and he made note (as someone who has an Alienware) that he would likely buy an MSI once his Alienware dies.

By far the best thin gaming laptop with a discreet graphics card I've ever used. Powerful, compact, truly mobile, and enough lights on the keyboard to send you into RGB epileptic shock.

As a student in school, this laptop helps me do anything I throw at it, from gaming, to school work and even photoshop work that I do for fun. The laptop is very compact and has many features to it. I will go over all the aspects that I can think of. Laptop Build: It is very light and takes little space. The plastic feels very sturdy but would not want to drop this laptop. Screen: The screen is very eye pleasing and the color is calibrated pretty nicely. Speaker: Sound is super awesome, but wish there was more bass. Storage: There is an SSD drive for your system and a HDD for your files and anything you need to store. It is a great value for this kind of laptop. SUMMARY: This laptop is great overall and does not make me miss having a desktop computer whatsoever and also there is barely any bloatware on the laptop so that is nice as well!!

If your looking for a gaming laptop and a laptop for school as well this laptop is a good choice for those college students who have the ambition to game in their downtime in college and use it for school work as well (But mostly focus on academics). It is pretty light weight for so it would make an excellent choice for portability in your daily life. Also it dos not look too bulky to carry around and is not too thick as well.

I debated what computer to get for school for about two weeks. With the help of some of the employees of Best Buy I finally decided on the MSI GS 63 Stealth. One thing I will say is that when I updated to the most recent windows 10 programing all my videos were suddenly green some would play sound others nothing. I searched for a solution and eventually found one. I had to turn off a few features and make it where all the graphics worked off of the graphics card instead of the computer auto choosing. The only other thing I would say could be better is placement of the power button, other than that I love my laptop. The color keyboard is awesome and the key response when typing is really nice. It has good sound for a laptop. It is lightweight enough I can carry it with me to class which is huge! Over all the computer is great!

I am a current college student who is into music production, this laptop runs very smooth with all the programs that I have installed and it has a sick keyboard, also as a gaming laptop this is very light and easy to carry, strongly recommend!

Great laptop with nice components for the price! comes in a nice sleek package with aluminium and other high end materials used! Steelseries keyboard with their own software is great to see on here! I just wish that the click on the track pad was a bit better (but this can be solved by owning a great wireless mouse). I also wish that the keyboard had less deck flex! This isn't a huge issue if you are typing normally, and most of the time you will never notice it, however it makes the laptop feel less sturdy overall, especially compared to competitors. The screen is great, although 120Hz refresh rate would have been nice to see, but this isn't a big issue because there is a ton of IO so plugging it up to a bigger monitor would be beneficial. Also the 60Hz screen saves battery life, so it really isn't that big of a concern. The screen is amazing!
