Say what you will about the MacBook, Apple has packaging and presentation down to an exact science. I think the MSI effort currently going forward is the closest thing to a direct competitor that their brand of shelf-box-wrapper-product follow through we have yet. There are plenty of computers with similar performance to this one, but you will struggle to find one that looks better, feels better or is more committed to making you feel like your purchase is an event. Pros: Keyboard is ergonomic, looks great, layout of keyboard and touchpad is intuitive, well ventilated, feels like a Mercedes-AMG in your hands. Cons: Could do with thinner borders, there are much cheaper options that do the same thing (see above comparison to AMG)

i recently purchased this laptop mainly for running a virtual environment. it has not disappointed me, very sleek design, lightweight , and fast. would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a powerful laptop.

The MSI GS63 Stealth has the power to play any game you want on higher if not the highest settings. It also has the more premium build quality for laptops. The only setbacks that I complain about with this laptop are the battery life which lasts only a few hours (2-3 normally playing heavier games) and the fans that kick on immediately when starting any heavy application.

The laptop has a great build quality and is light weight. It's great for travel and has a good amount of ports when I decide to stay stationary wether at home or at the airport. As a traveler this laptop is great.

I found this laptop while shopping for new computers. My old computer was unable to perform the tasks that I required of it, and I kept that in mind as I was looking at new machines. At a glance, this computer was useful in every possible way for me and it is very lightweight, which makes it comfortably portable. Upon purchasing I tested it out by running a few tasks that I expect to do nearly daily, such as making it run a virtual machine and playing a hardware-taxing game and I must say this computer is surprisingly very good at anything I've thrown at it thus far. I do believe that it is a good value for it's price range, and would definitely recommend this computer to everyone who has the same computer needs as I do.

Definitely no problem handling game play with high fps. Fans do get pretty loud and laptop does get a little warm but nothing you wouldn't expect from a .7 inch thick 4.7lb laptop. Definitely would recommend.

Though it is a gaming oriented computer, I use the stealth for video, cad, and even light texture rendering work. It handles a surprising amount of loads I throw at it, whether when I'm actually playing games like Just Cause 3 or The Division, or Rendering Models in Cinema 4D. The keyboard lights are a cool touch, but most importantly to me, the typing experience is phenomenal! I'm not really one for the gamer aesthetic either, but with the color choosing abilities of the keys, I can easily find something to my liking. My two complaints are directed towards the trackpad and the speakers. I'm not sure if it is a driver issue or what, but the acceleration settings on the trackpad are kind of wacky, but can be adjusted to.

I've been planning to get a gaming laptop but didn't know which one would be perfect. I was searching for a while back and fourth from the g7 asus helios, basically any gaming laptop you can think of I was searching up and trying to see which one would fit me best. Then I went to Best Buy and saw this one and it just had all the capabilities that I was looking for, not to mention the very slick design that isn't common in the gaming world. It powerful and strong computer for either when you're at school to even when you're running a game on max settings would definitely recommend this to a friend. The only take away I would have is the sound it's not as good as I thought it would be I'm not sure for others.

This computer is awesome. When I was first looking at buying a gaming laptop I had standards and specific components. This computer contains all necessities for current games and games within the upcoming year. Not only does it have the hardware, it is very sleek. The computer very durable and so far seems reliable with it’s metal casing. The steel series per key customization keyboard is beyond amazing as you can fully customize your keyboard to the games you play. All games I’ve played so far have not had any problems. I love the fact there are 4 USB ports on the laptop which is not always a common amount on most other gaming laptops. This laptop is so far phenomenal. Thrilled with my purchase. MSI thumbs up!

They way this keyboard feels when you type is great. The fans are so quiet I do wonder if they are on. They laptop is very light and is a great build quality. This is my first MSI product and I am impressed.

When I first go this laptop I was amazed to get a 8th gen i7 at such a reasonable price point. The first problem I ran into was that my shift key was unresponsive. Luckily this was still within the return time limit and I was able to trade this laptop in for another one. I am blown away by the gaming capabilities. I can run most games at high-ultra settings with a solid 50-90 fps. The keyboard lighting is very appealing and well made. The one thing that wasn't top tier was the screen resolution but if you have a decent monitor and a HDMI cable, gaming on your monitor will be easily achievable thanks to the laptops wide selection of ports. Overall this laptop is a great deal and it offers a great gaming experience.

I purchased this laptop for gaming and for data analysis. The associate at the store that helped me out was amazing. He was super helpful and let me bug him for like 30 minutes asking his opinion on everything. This was especially nice after I had had such a horrible experience with Dell customer service earlier that day. This laptop is perfect for my needs. The processor is lightning fast and perfect. The graphics card is a 1060, which so far has been perfect for my gaming needs. I even opened up the back to see how easy it would be to upgrade the memory when I'm ready for that, and it was super easy. The keys light up really nicely, it looks so cool. I am so glad we went with the MSi instead of the Alienware.

Great laptop! Sure it has a 1060 in it, but if you want to casually game or need a laptop for school/work, this is it!

I have been putting off buying a laptop for gaming until recently, and I've spent a fair amount of time setting up this laptop, as with most Windows OS based computers, but overall I can say that the laptop is quick, sleek, and very portable - not like the other oversized laptops that have nearly the same specs, save for a bigger screen. The GTX 1060 is getting a couple years behind yet runs most of the games that I need at 60fps steadily. The hard drive space along with the 256SSD is an excellent addition, and very useful for prioritizing what you want on your SSD or HDD. Overall the laptop is perfect for the type of games that I play, and the movies and browsing that I tend to do.

I bought it because of the design. I love the slick look and light weight. It is perfect for travelling. I do recommend buying something for the bottom. It gets really hot, if you are not wearing jeans or pants. (almost burnt me the first time I put it on after leaving it on the table for a bit). Now I have a Targus N2953 as a layer between laptop and legs.

Great build, great screen, great gameplay, great keyboard, great specs, low amount of bloatware. Only thing I dislike is how loud the fans can be, but that's typical of thin gaming laptops.

This is a amazing gaming laptop, It has worked wonderful for me. Long lasting battery, Great performance, its build quality, and a wonderful screen. I feel like I will have this laptop for a long time.

So I bought the computer during the student sales event, and I was originally hesitant on buying such an expensive laptop because it was out of my family’s original price range. However, as I got to looking at reviews from a variety of websites, I started noticing a very common theme - this is a great computer for basically anything. And it’s lived up to it. I’ve been able to download, upload, re arrange and everything else I could possibly want to do with this computer perfectly and without an issue! The noise it emits I can see being a slight issue for some people, but considering I wear headphones and listen to music when I’m doing school work and or the occasional gaming, it won’t bother me!

I'm a senior in High School and I have to say I love this laptop. I bought it for video editing and 3d Animation and this thing works like a charm. Great Screen, great keyboard, Great specifications. Games are speedy and beautiful. Speakers are nice and loud. Only downside is the track pad only because it feels a little cheap, but I use a mouse anyways. Oh and the pc can get a bit loud during gaming but that is expected with a gaming laptop this thin. I SERIOUSLY recommend buying this if you are a student and want a PC that can game on the go.

I originally owned the Apache Pro, which had defects. As a result, my warranty covered the previous amount that I had spent on my Apache Pro, and I decided to upgrade to the Stealth, and I have to say that I couldn't be happier. Initially, I was bummed about having to purchase another high end computer; but after using the stealth, I am confident that I made a great choice that will benefit me more than my previous. I like MSI computers, so I don't ever even consider other brands. The Stealth is lightweight and stays cool regardless of use. I also love the updated SteelSeries keyboard and "light show". Hopefully, this computer will continue to work well for the long run, which I am confident it will.
