In the beginning of the summer I shopped around for a laptop that would suit my needs for my upcoming semester in college. I have started studying web design and advertisement, so I needed something great with graphics- that could handle how much time I spend working on projects. Plus I like to play the sims too.. A BestBuy employee all the way in Duluth MN suggested this laptop not only because of the MSI brand- but because of the awesome triple cooling fan system. I knew this laptop was for me when it even came with a stylish keyboard you could customized. I definitely feel like I used my scholarship money for good when purchasing this laptop. Some people complain that the laptop is loud or that is overheats. I think there is so no such thing as the perfect computer, but MSI is definitely doing a good job. Now... I tried everything I could to find this laptop cheaper than BestBuy could offer, but all the websites were not trustworthy. Many people buy MSI laptops, game them to death and then refurbish them and sell it on ebay etc. BestBuy offered a great deal with a tax exemption form and student deal coupon. I am so happy I went with them!

This laptop can handle any type of work or gaming you need it to. I bought it with the intention of having multiple applications opened up and running at once and it handles it without skipping a beat. Not only that, but it is also aesthetically pleasing as well. The light up keyboard is mesmerizing. I highly recommend this laptop.

This Laptop is a very nice for a beginner Gamer. I absolutely love the look. The keyboard is very handsome and effective for Gaming in the dark with the lite keys. It enhances the experience. I am also a DJ and I use it to upload Music to play through all my systems equipment. It responds fast and has never let me down. The only thing negative that I can say about it is that it does not have a CD slot which I find myself needing and am forced to go to my family's PC to download to a CD. Other than that...this Laptop performs well. Glad I bought it!

I was torn between this and the Asus GU501GM, checked out both in store and ultimately went with the GS63. Very happy with my choice so far. The keyboard feels better, and I like that it's full RGB instead of the Asus's red backlight. Build quality and performance have both been solid. I'll post an update if I run into any issues.

I recently bought this laptop online and picked it up on the same day at a nearby bestbuy. I've had this laptop for about a week now, and I have very little complaints about it. I'm not a very picky person nor have I ever bought a gaming laptop for myself (though I always wanted to). I decided I would settle for this product rather than build my own desktop for a couple of reasons; one: I needed something portable that I can bring around, especially since I just started school. two: I got an email from bestbuy and this was one of the laptops that came with student discount!! So far I have no complaints, I'm not a hardcore gamer but I do play a variety of games. This fits my needs perfectly. Though it is true that the material attracts literally every finger prints that touches the cover of this laptop, but I'm not too annoyed. Overall really enjoying the laptop so far!

As a college student with a major in engineering, this computer has held up all of my programs nicely from CAD drawings to program storage. It also has great capabilities for gaming. The games run smoothly and the graphics card makes it that much better. If that wasn't enough, the keyboard even lights up for Christ's sake!

I was using an older computer that I originally purchased for school to play games. I quickly noticed it was overheating and running slow. I spoke to the sales person at Best Buy who showed me this MSI computer. After seeing the specs and doing some research I was sold. I couldn't be more impressed with it's speed and graphics.

I love it, its thin & light, however very powerful, handles every game I throw at it, the fans are quiet however do tend to be a bit loud during intensive gaming, the screen is very bright and colors are great. The only downside I found is that the trackpad is a bit stiff, but not a big deal. Bottom line, highly recommended

This is my first ever purchase of a gaming laptop and the MSI has proven to me to be the right choice. With an incredible display and lighting fast speeds the laptop was everything i wanted in a gaming computer. Also a huge fan of the keyboard which is reactive and punchy. I love this product and I highly recommend it!

This computer is a great improvement over my last one. The graphics are beautiful and colors are crisp. Everything runs smoothly and games don't suffer from framerate issues. So far I have tried out World of Warcraft, Tera, Fallout 4, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider and all of them look great! Definitely recommended.

So far, so good. I've never owned a gaming laptop, but I can't really complain with this one so far. Impressive graphics and quick responsiveness. The keys are much softer than other laptops, the keys also light up. The picture is much clearer than I have ever experienced before. All in all, I give it a thumbs up.

The guys/girls at Best Buy were gaming pros! I was contemplating three gaming laptops and they directed me towards my new MSI GS63 STEALTH-010...could not have made a better choice myself. It's fast, reliable, attractive, lightweight, and meets all my gaming needs. Might seem a little pricey, but it's well worth it!

I had this laptop for 3 weeks now and the laptop runs beautifully, but does have its minor issues. Many people do complain that the laptop does get noisy and run hot, but managing them is very easy. It gets noisy and hot from heavy gaming or heavy tasks that pushes the CPU. Turning on the cooling boosts helps this in cooling down the laptop. When I ran multiple tabs in my browser, watching a video, and playing a light game, it went into 80c. While turning on the cooling boosts, it went down to 50s-60s. I do need to point out that I undervolted my laptop at -150c and it helps. A minor issue that I did have is it blue screened in the second day I had it, and it was due to a software issue. From then on, nothing major has occurred. Aside from that issue, this laptop is amazing in anything you need it for. I need it for being a college student and had researched on which laptops have an amazing build that is also future proof. This laptop has so many ports that its for photo editing and great for gamers that will need a eGPU. So if you guys get it, you won't be disappointed.

Worth the money, bought this to play games on the couch so my wife doesn't divorce me. Only downside is that the unit gets hot while using and the fans are noisy but this can be controlled with the built in Dragon software. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and this will last me for many years to come.

As a college student that's away from home, I was looking for a laptop that would have high proficiency in gaming in order to efficiently replace my desktop at home. Not only does this laptop allow such features but it's also convenient as the size is perfect for packing and comfortable to use within lectures.

I have not had an extended amount of time to play with my new toy however the things i currently can speak on i will. As far as design the aluminum casing feels cheap compared to other laptop models but what they lack in design the specs more than compensate for . Guess you cant have it all. It is slightly noisy . But for the most part this computer is just straight beast... with a little beauty lol. Love steel series keyboard. Charging port in weird location could interfere with mouse for right hander. So far so good!

Although I plan to use the laptop for some gaming, i actually purchased this laptop for school. I am and Aerospace Engineering student and I needed the laptop for CAD and general school use. I am able to run Inventor and SolidWorks without any issues. I love the keyboard (programmable colors as well as the mechanism). I have seen in other reviews that the speaker is bad (which I was honestly not concerned about since I primarily use headphones) but the speakers are just fine. They don't sound blow out. The ONLY thing I don't love about this laptop is the battery life. It lasts about 4 hours with regular use--surfing the web + YouTube. For gaming, the laptop would probably be plugged in anyways but for taking the laptop to classes and studying in the library, it would be convenient to have a longer lasting battery. That being said, the cord is extremely long so you won't have any trouble plugging it into an outlet wherever you go. I would definitely recommend this laptop not just as a gaming device but for engineering students who need a laptop for CAD.

I got this laptop a few months ago and took it to Japan. It performed great and was not too heavy to carry around. Its fans get going under load but the felt underside keeps it cool on your lap. Overall I haven't run into any problems with it at all. Its got great ports which is a big plus! Its a little pricey on its own, but compared to other high powered slim gaming laptops it comes it at a reasonable price.

I purchased this laptop a couple days ago and I cant stop. I have always been an xbox gamer and never really tried PC but I decided to test it out and I am so addicted! this laptop runs CS:GO great and PUBG great as well the graphics are good I really cant complain. Also the keyboard is super dope!
