This gaming laptop is a joy to use. The GTX 1060 gives you enough power to run games on higher settings while not getting too hot or using up a ton of power, and the velvety material on the bottom keeps the bottom from getting too hot and burning your legs.

Amazingly fast startup and it runs every game I've tried with it without a hiccup. The screen looks great and it doesn't seem to get too warm. The only downside I've come across so far is that the fan is somewhat loud, but it is quieter than many I've used,

I wasnt sure if this would run some of my games because of how thin and small this laptop is. Ran a few games on it like elite dangerous and doom and it handled them really well. I am glad I got this laptop, now i have something to play on while i travel.

Great performance for gaming (on dota and counterstrike) on ultra. The fan can get a noisy when playing games but overall it does all the things it needs too. The fan isnt much a problem just wondering if it is normal. Laptop is very fast which is great.

This Laptop not only looks amazing, but is very smooth! I can have multiple tabs and programs open and the computer runs as fast as it did before! Although it's great for Gaming, I use it mainly for work. I would definitely recommend this for a friend.

The features on this laptop are great for the price. The graphics are impressive and the RAM / system performance is great for all but the heaviest users. The storage is adequate for this price point, but I will be upgrading the hard drives within a year for additional storage. The design is great, and the overall package feels sturdy and well manufactured. The fans are quiet, and I have not noticed any cooling issues after a month of use.

So far, I've been having a blast with this laptop. It runs what I need it to run at the highest settings and the RGB steelseries keyboard is a cool touch. The only thing I'm not liking so far is the Norton included. It actually pulls me out of a game to the desktop to show me a Norton notification about online backup. Really? And it's got tons of other annoying popups. I'll definitely be removing it. Other than that, the laptop is a hit.

I'm a college student and this laptop is perfect for gaming at a reasonable price. It is without a doubt the best gaming laptop for its price range. It manages to be compact and portable, all the while having some pretty serious equipment under the hood.

Couldn't believe that MSI packed this much punch into this slim beast. Don't be worried that this laptop can't play games, handled GTA V at 1080P at max everything. I'm going to try 4K on my TV at some point and will update this to reflect how that goes

Laptop worked flawlessly out of the box, and runs perfectly. Loading is very smooth and quick, and I can pretty much run whatever application I choose. The keyboard is also a very cool feature and looks great in the dark!. Overall, a fantastic device.

The keyboard and its settings are great, the fan is a little noticeable but shuts off just as soon as it turns on. Resolution of the screen looks even better now that I'm back home looking at it. If I run into any longterm problems I will update.

I've been using it for a month and it just amazes me how fast it is, I've played videogames at ultra high resolution & also using it for autocad & 3dmax, it never gets low, but after a couple hours it gets a little warm, not too much. A great choice!

Great screen, gorgeous backlit keys, and super portable. I love carrying this around and the people at Starbucks love my keyboard - I always have it set to chakra I believe - whatever the rainbow one is called. Gaming is great on this, but video editing isn't the best - that's why I'm getting an external monitor. I do love how thin it is. I just hope the cooling system holds up for a good 4 or 5 years. The Cons Not many cons. I don't review battery life as I'm always plugged in. It does randomly freeze and I have to do a reboot. Not sure what that's about. Overall, this thing is one of beauty. I did my research for several months and glad I grabbed this one.

The MSI laptop is honestly the best I've had so far; granted, that isn't saying much. My last laptop took almost 3 minutes to boot to the desktop and allow me to open any applications. This MSI laptop, however, boots in less than a minute and honestly, I couldn't be happier. I have had the laptop for a couple of weeks now and I haven't found any glaring issues with it. Pros (for the casual laptop user): - boots in a reasonable time - nice keyboard - doesn't use 100% of the CPU at all times (Minor) Cons: - the power button is on the side rather than on the keyboard - RGB backlight on the keyboard sometimes does not allow me to change the color setting using the function hotkeys; however, this may very well be a software issue on the side of steelseries Ultimately, it is a solid laptop that I am more than satisfied with.

This computer is the fastest computer I’ve ever had. Great response on the web as well as a very well put together mouse pad. The keyboard is unbelievable and it’s so easy to game on her with their MSI gaming mouse. Definitely a great buy !!

This a great laptop with a great design. Having had many gaming laptops since they first came about, this is by far the best. Price to performance is not bad compared to other brands. Has many features you need for gaming and/or work/school.

the amount of power msi has managed to cram into this slim profile is amazing. a 1060 graphics card as well as an i7 is great. the only downside of this machine is its heat issue. msi has a fairly good system of removing heat but under max load the gpu and cpu can reach around 90. if you dont plan on gamming on this thing on ultra for hours on end then this is not a huge problem.overall this is a great product.

Absolutely awesome computer! Processing and Graphics demands met with ease. Supports all FPS Games I play on ultra setting with no tearing or long down times. Greatly recommended for anyone looking into getting into pc and laptop gaming!

In love with this new laptop. Wanted something lighter and easier to handle for gaming for when I go away to college soon, or just when visit relatives in other states. The design of the keyboard is sleek and appealing to the eye, with the lights being noticeable and aesthetically pleasing while also subtle and easy on the eyes. There's very intricate designable features available within the lighting if that interests the user. Good size and the ability to monitor the systems operations with the Dragon Center is a fantastic addition. Even comes pre-loaded with specially customized operating specs for a few games such as Overwatch and PUBG. I've talked to many friends about how nice of a computer it is to use and operate. Can't wait to get a good few years use out of this system and its optimal specs.
